Planning for the future

POV AIKO

Things went really well during the protest, yesterday. Even when Blake realized she had made a spelling error, she didn't let it bother her and continued to protest.

Especially when nothing happened, no shooting, no rocks were thrown at the protest. Even when I asked my family if they encountered with any problems, they all denied it.

I didn't really believe them, but I didn't bother try to pry, since I already knew there would be people going after me, so I decided to let it be.

Currently, the girl's and I were packing our things to get ready for the journey back home, we had almost finished packing our clothes when we heard a knock at our door.

We all raised our heads and looked at one another, wondering who could be visiting us. Sienna grabbed one of the daggers that was connected to her whip and hid it behind her and opened the door.

"Hello, miss Khan, is Aiko here?" Sienna looked to where I was, in my hands, I was holding my weapon in a gun form.

"Yes, he is." Sienna signaled at us to relax, letting the person inside. Who came in surprised me the most, Winter came in, looking for me in the room.

Once her eyes had landed on me, she made her way and knelt down on one leg to look at me in the eyes. I was confused on why she was here, staring into my soul.

"H-how can I help you?" I asked, but all I received was silence, making me wonder what was going on inside her head.

"My sister wishes to see you off, so please call me when you are about to leave." She then stood up and began to walk out, but not before turning her head slightly to look at me.

The second her eyes made contact with mine, all my fur stood up instantly, and I aimed my weapon at her. As fast as it came, the feeling disappeared.

"Good reaction time, I can trust you'll be better in the future." Was all she said before leaving the room.

I sighed and relaxed my body, letting all the tension go, the girls also sighed, seeing that Winter had left. I could tell they senses the danger when Winter glared at me.

Sienna slammed the door in anger, but her anger turned into concern when she knelt in front of me and began to pet my head.

"Are you alright?" I was surprised to see her act like this, since she rarely shows any concern, but with what had happened with Winter and me, it was understandable.

"Yes, I'm fine, what was that about?" Sienna shrugged and stood up, sighing and brushing her hair back.

"I don't have a single clue, but I'm guessing it has to do with the younger Schnee girl." She then narrowed her eyes at me, and the feeling of danger appeared once again.

"You didn't do anything to her when you were captured, did you?" I quickly shook my head, denying her assumption.

"What do you take me for? I'm not a closet pervert like my mother." I hissed at her question.

MEANWHILE

Back in Menagerie, inside the Belladona home where the library is, Kali was blushing, in her hands was an erotic novel.

She then instantly sat up and closed the book, placing it underneath her and grabbing a random book from one of the shelves.

Ghira soon entered and began to walk pass her, looking through the shelves to find a book.

Once he found it, he grabbed it and left the room. Once Ghira was gone, Kali sighed and placed the book next to her, and pulled out the erotic novel.

BACK WITH THE GROUP

"Besides, I was in a different cage when I woke up." Sienna stayed silent for a few seconds but then nodded her head.

"Alright, let's just finish packing and say our goodbyes, we don't want to overstay." As we resumed our packing, Blake stopped and looked outside.

"What's wrong Blake?" I asked while stuffing most of the dust vials, which were given to me by the general as thanks, into my new bag.

"It's just...do you think our people will be okay?" Hearing her ask that made me clench my fist, but I hid it behind me so she wouldn't see it.

"I'm sure they'll be okay, besides, we can't give up hope." I placed my hand on her shoulder, gently patting it.

"We can make a difference, we just need to believe in our people." Blake, who had a look of doubt turned to face me, she nodded her head at my words and smiled.

"I believe you, Aiko." Seeing her smile, it made me guilty for what I was doing behind her back.

'Sorry Blake, but to obtain peace, you got to shed a bit of blood.' I thought while leaving her to continue pack.

'It seems you are adapting rather quickly, what is it that you wish for us to do?' Asked my mother.

'We lay low, we don't have to funds nor resources to do anything at the moment, so it is best to plan when we are in a safer area.' Once I finished packing, the four of us began to make our way to the docks.

As we walked out, I continued to discuss the plan with my mother and grandfather as we made our way to the bull head.

'I suggest we leave a family member here, making them disguise themselves as a human to work at SDC.' Suggested my mother.

'As for the materials, you can clear out the island, there's a lot of places that isn't explored, remember?' I mentally facepalmed myself for that.

'Still, we need to make a new identity in order to secure a position, and also for them to have proof of identity.' They only hummed at my problem but didn't reply.

'Moving on then, once supplies and funds are acquired, we need to move on to weaponry for the island.' At the mention of weapons, they began to voice out their ideas.

'It would be best if we start mass producing rifles, pistols, and light machine guns, we don't want to waste our time making them transform.' My grandfather hummed at the suggestion.

'Agreed, too many metals and materials wasted, besides that, ammunition is important.' I was brought of the conversation when I bumped into Sienna, who was looking at me.

"Hey, you seem distracted, what's going on?" I only smiled and shook my head.

"Nothing's wrong, I'm just tired from yesterday." I replied, Sienna just shrugged and began to walk.

'As for technology, all I need is a computer, and I can work my magic.' I said, once we all agreed to what we had planned, I sent one of my summonses away to start finding a job.

'Now that we are done with that, next is making a business.' I said and began to throw my idea into the ring.

'As I said before, if we find any dust on our home, we claim it as ours, that way, the SDC can't set foot on it, since the island was given to us Faunus.' Hearing me throw in my idea, the both of them liked it.

'We can use this dust business to not only acquire more funds, but also as a shield, since Faunus's are allowed on the island.' I continued.

'Thus, preventing that jack ass to harm us in any way or form.' I finished.

'There is one flaw to that plan, but we can make sure it doesn't happen.' I was curious on what my mother meant by that, but I didn't bother to ask since we arrived at the docks.

At the docks, there where people waiting for us. The people that stood there was the General, Winter, the Ace ops, and Weiss.

The general soon relaxed as he saw us with our bags, and smiled, kneeling down on one knee.

"It was an honor to have you two here, I hope that our homes can have a friendlier relationship in the future." I smiled and hugged him, he was taken aback at first but soon returned my hug.

"Take care and thank you for helping us." I said, the general patted my back, and I took a step back, moving to Elm.

"Take care short stack, and hey, try to be taller than Harriet here." She said, slapping Harriet on the back.

This caused Harriet to stumble forward, and nearly slam against the floor. She only glared at Elm, who only scratched the back of her neck.

Harriet only growled but soon relaxed and turned to talk to me, she crossed her arms and grinned at me.

"Get stronger kid, I want to have a small spar when see me again." I grinned at Harriets words and raised my fist for a fist bump, she smiled at what I did and returned it.

I then stood in front of Vine, who wore a gentil smile. He bowed his head while his hands were together and spoke with a quiet voice.

"It was an honor to meet you, and I hope you may continue on your journey to have our races to coexist." I smiled at his words and returned the bow.

"Thank you, I hope I can reach my goal soon." Finally, I stood in front of Clover, the two of us only stared at one another.

"Don't try to cause any trouble for others." He said, I only smiled and nodded my head.

Finally, I stood in front of Weiss, who was fidgeting and not making eye contact. I was surprised that she didn't want to look at me, but I wasn't going to force her.

"It was nice meeting you Weiss, I hope we can meet each other again." I said while extending my hand, she looked at my hand at first and was about to reach for it.

Instead, she extended her arms and wrapped them around me, holding me tight like I was going to disappear. I was surprised at first, but I smiled and hugged her back, gently holding and patting her back.

"Promise?" She whispered in my ear, I chuckled at her question and pulled back, flashing her a smile.

"Yeah, I promise." Before I knew it, I felt something soft and warm touch my cheek. I widened my eyes, only to see Weiss blushing and running away.

I stood in place, touching the spot where she kissed me. I accidentally dropped my disguise, exposing my real form.

My ears laid flat on my head, while my tail's wagged. I was too distracted to notice the murderous glare Winter aimed at me, that I covered my face.

"Well then, it seems we have to go, thank you for everything!" Sienna shouted and scooped me under her arm like baggage.

As the door's closed behind us, I thought I heard Winter screaming at me that she'll have my tails as compensation.

"So, it seems the Schnee girl has a crush on you." Sienna teased me, I couldn't retort her teasing, so I just stayed silent.
