A Kiss From Darkness

Warning… Matured content. “Look at me,” he commanded, his eyes boring into her like black pits of venom. Lilith’s chest tightened as she stared at the floor and the room seemed to shrink around her. “Dinner with the devil is one thing. Staring at the embodiment of evil itself…quite another.” Dracula’s smirk widened, his fingers squeezing Lilith’s chin. “Oh, and do I frighten you, little one?” His eyes burned into her, piercing her soul like daggers “You see now the truth of my power. You thought you could challenge me, toying with my affections as though I were some lovesick puppy.” Lilith sighed, because despite the darkness that swirled around her, she found herself unafraid of Dracula. “Now, look at me, and speak what you have beneath your heart,” he commanded. Lilith’s chin lifted with a surge of defiance. "Dracula Beelzebub. You are nothing but a monstrous abomination." she hissed, her voice dripping with disdain. "A fiend of the lowest caliber, unworthy of even a moment of my time." Dracula raised an eyebrow as he smirked, impressed by her insults. "And yet, you cannot deny that I am the most powerful being in this room." Lilith sneered. "Yo… You deserves to be banished back to the bowels of Hell." Dracula smiled, his teeth white in the flickering candlelight. "Ah, but where’s the fun in that? I much prefer making life interesting for the mortals." Lilith's hands curled into fists at her sides, and she took a step forward. “Interesting?" she spat. "You call torment and misery ‘interesting’? You are a demon, feeding off the misery and pain of others." Dracula chuckled, spreading his arms wide in a gesture of mock surrender. "And what of it? What do you intend to do about it, little mortal?" ~~~~~ Meet Lilith Raziel, a young, beautiful orphan who was born blind. However, when a mysterious creature appears in the woods, Lilith’s life is turned upside down. Her world shifts from darkness to one filled with mystical creatures and the secrets of the underworld. On the other hand, lurking in the shadows, lies Dracula Beelzebub, a devilishly handsome man who relishes in the misery and demise of others. Love confession.

Lilith furrowed her brows at first, her gaze glooming over the man cloaked in black. She would never forget his features, nor the golden eyes that radiated but contained no warmth beneath them.

He was the guy she'd usually run into who called her 'Little Mortal.'

"Hello." Lilith opened her mouth to speak, expecting to hear gibberish, but she was shocked to discover that she could speak.

She was shocked.

Her heartbeat became so rapid that Lilith could literally hear it. Her chest rose and fell, and as she focused on her thumping heart, she returned her sight to the young man.

His hands were inside his trouser pocket, and he was staring at Lilith with an elevated brow. "Why do we always cross paths?" He inquired, curiosity radiant in his eyes as he gazed at Lilith.

Silence…

Lilith remained mute as she forced saliva down her throat, attempting to open her mouth to speak.

She was afraid that if she opened her lips to speak once more, she wouldn't be able to say anything.

With a deep breath to steady herself, Lilith mustered her courage and met the impatient gaze of the man before her.

A small smile graced her lips as she composed herself, her inner strength radiating with each second that passed. "I have no idea why our paths have crossed, but here we are," she murmured, her voice rich with curiosity and intrigue.

In a split second, she raised her phone, bringing her phone towards her face as she took the man's picture, the flash capturing the enigmatic glint in his eyes, a moment frozen in time.

He scoffed as he smacked his pink lips, his eyes shifting into an ominous darkness. "Did you just take a picture of me?" He asked, his voice cold as a viper's tongue, slithering around Lilith's throat.

She swiftly pulled her hands to her side as she pressed the phone record button; this time, she did not make a move that would be obvious.

"I… I…"

"Speak!" He commanded, his voice laced with authority. "Why did you take a picture of me?" He asked, his eyes darkening with each passing second.

Lilith felt encircled by an unsettling void, so she grasped her ponytail hair and played with the edge.

Lilith's voice dripped with defiance, her words cutting through the tension like a hot knife through butter. "I took a picture of you because I think you are handsome and I was thinking of using your picture to pleasure myself whenever I have a sexual urge." she purred, her words as sharp as the glint of a dagger as she attempted to hide the fact that she had just lied to him.

"What?"

With a daring wink and a slow, deliberate lick of her lips, she challenged the man with her own question.

"I'm curious, this isn't a dream so why is it that I can suddenly speak when I'm near you?" she purred, the mischievous glint in her eye transforming into a look of steely determination.

The attractive young man scoffed at Lilith's ridiculous question. "Do you know who I am?" He inquired, and his words caused a snicker to escape Lilith's lips, but she bit her lips to keep from laughing out loud.

Lilith met his intensity with her playful gaze transforming into a look of fierce curiosity. "Do you know who I am?" Lilith answered his question with a question.

Inhaling…

The young man inhaled as he stared at Lilith, reminding himself to remain cool. There was something about Lilith that piqued his interest, and he had a strong suspicion she was not who she claimed to be.

"Little mortal." He began, taking strides towards Lilith. "How come you don't fear me? Why do you always cross my path?" He inquired, and this time he stood in front of Lilith like a towering giant, and Lilith raised her head to glare at him.

As Lilith gazed at him as if she was an ant, she smiled. "I'm not scared of you because I love handsome men like you." She uttered, her voice gentle and compassionate, causing him to fluster his eyelids, surprised by Lilith's abrupt outburst.

The man stared back at her, his face a canvas of emotion, painting a story of intrigue and fascination.

"Ohh really?" He whispered, a sly smirk forming at the side of his lips..
