15 Chapter 13

"Let the slut die. She has betrayed me and the kingdom," Damian murmurs.

Oh please, you don't mean that.

"She slept with another male, therefore she mated."

But no mark, we have a chance still.

Damian growls," We shall see."

A few days have past since Damian last saw Lucia and the pain and emptiness feeling continued to grow. His wolf wasn't helping, keeps giving him hope and ideas on trying to save her. He considers the situation forsaken. Lucia falls in love with the Rogue Prince and he is left pleading for death to take him.

A knock on his bedroom door is heard.

"Enter," Damian growls.

Dr. Marcel emerges," Ah, your majesty. I'm just here to check your wounds."

"I can assure you, they've healed by now," Damian sneers.

Dr. Marcel ignores Damian's sneer and checks the bandages.

Dr. Marcel speaks," Remember when Mary was kidnapped and raped by that band of rogues that harassed the southeastern border of the territory? You led the rescue party and hoped to bring her back to me in one piece and you did, but she was never the same. She locked herself out of the world and it took me ages to get her to talk to me again. When she did, she was in tears, but agreed to see a specialist and she's not completely back to normal, she still screams in her sleep and flinches when I touch her, but she's trying so very hard."

"Get to the point Marcel," Damian growls.

The doctor puts his hand up," May point is, all is not lost. I thought the same thing but was given another chance with her. You can have another chance with Lucia."

Damian chuckles coldly, "I'll believe it when I see it."

"Work for it, Damian, and the moon goddess will reward you."

The doctor departs leaving the king to his thoughts.
