THE VOICE OF the news anchor blasted through the house. Generating from the large television set in the living room, the live news continued, the camera zooming in on the face of the onsite reporter as a group of first responders wheeled by a body, covered by a white sheet on a stretcher, a bloody arm sticking out as they wheeled the stretcher into an ambulance, a police officer hurriedly tucking the dangling arm back underneath the sheets.
The reporter cleared his throat to speak when chaos ensued. The stretcher slid out of the ambulance, knocking down a paramedic as the autumn wind blew the sheet off to reveal the bloodied, dead, still body on the stretcher causing the spectators behind the police line to gasp in horror, some turning away while a young detective assisted the police in pushing the stretcher back into the ambulance, shutting the door and hitting the vehicle twice, signaling the driver to hit the road.
The reporter cleared his throat again, grip tightening on the mic below his lips as he spoke up "this may be late but viewers be advised, this report contains graphic contents" he blinks, exchanging a look with the person behind the camera as he continued.
"This is Park Ji Huan reporting live from the crime scene, earlier today, at five forty -seven pm, an emergency call was made from a telephone inside" he stood in front of the tattoo shop "and when the first responders arrived exactly sixteen minutes after, they arrived to the scene just now, a suspected murder scene".
"The paramedics found the body impaled by a tattoo machine at the neck which was suspected to be the cause of death. The body was found with multiple stab marks by the same tattoo machine and due to the fact that the body was meters from the telephone and the blood trails and the scattered shop proving signs of struggle, the detectives speculate that someone other than the victim had placed the call".
The reporter moves close enough to see the interior of the tattoo shop "the CCTV footage retrieved from the entrance of the shop reveals the shop had only one customer at the time of the incident" a picture of a hooded person is displayed on the TV "the suspicious masked individual was spotted going into the shop and stumbling out twenty eight minutes later bleeding and injured as the police follows up on the trail left behind"
"Since the suspect was the only one with the murdered victim at the time the call was placed, the question remains who called the paramedics, why kill a person and call the paramedics immediately, if it wasn't for the massacred body, the police could have suspected this was an accident and not a planned and intentional murder because the suspect had clearly gone in with the intention of getting a tattoo" the reporter pauses, breathing in.
"Which leads us to the only evidence for now, the sketch on the screen" the Tv displays a detailed sketch " the sketch on the screen is some sort of daisy, probably brought by the suspect as a tattoo sample".
"While the investigation team run tests on the blood samples and fingerprints retrieved from the scene in their database due to lack of internal footage, we'll keep the public posted with the investigation as we wait for leads on the suspect"
"One thing remains irking, the relation of the crime to a flower, although not a black rose and the usual assassinations by the black rose assassin are usually people up high, the murder is still similar given the sketch shown earlier is different from normal daisies not only in color, it possesses an extra bred petal".
