Time flows like a stormy river.

It seems that only recently I got transferred to Fujimi Academy. Nothing much changed over these past 6 months. Hone my skills, go to school, train with Saeko, and hang out with Saya. There's only 16 months left before Z-day starts and it turns out 'that' is actually present in this world. After asking the system and getting vague answers as my guide still isn't present because Z-day hasn't happened I had to piece it all together. And it finally happened.

Ki.

As Ki is supposed to be an energy that is inside all humans I wondered if I can wield it and I finally figured it out. Meditation and Physical Training . Yes, to unlock the Ki within the body I did meditation whenever I could whether it be in the classroom, clubroom, or home and it finally worked. To form a Ki center I had to meditate and sense fragments of ki scattered throughout the body and gather them into a single place.

It's similar to how The Beginning After The End magic core system works except there's no ranks. Purifying and increasing your Ki energy can be accomplished by increasing your strength, difficult fights, or meditation. Meditation is by far the slowest compared to the other two. Also there's three types of Ki.

Invoking, Release and Holding.

"Invoking" of Ki: which allows the user to channel their Ki inward into their techniques and attacks.

"Release" of Ki: which allows the user to release their Ki outward from their bodies and use it in various ways against their opponents.

"Holding" of Ki: which allows the user to not only release but freely control their Ki in and out of their bodies, even able to pull in and redirect the Ki of other people.

This is going to be a great help as normal bullets and even explosives don't work on zombies like nemesis so having Ki as back up increases my survival chances a lot.

Other than this great discovery I heard some rather interesting gossip. Rei started dating Hisashi, Takashi's best friend. When I watched the anime I thought it was foolish that Takashi never even bothered to confess to her. The fact the idiot couldn't tell the girl he likes his feelings just pissed me off. Even if she said no, he would have still been able to move on. The fact he was already acting depressed made me irritated but it had also pissed Saya off too as she has been holding a crush for him since they were younger so it made sense.

As this was clearly affecting her I just took her on outings when I wasn't either training or busy with anything else. It clearly helped and we got closer as a result of it all. At this rate she will grow apart from Takashi for me as I spend so much time with her. And seeing as how his depressing aura upset her it will inevitably happen.

Saeko's training with me was very difficult for her at the beginning but she's starting to adapt to it easier as time goes by. I'm thinking of having Saya do some light workouts with me as well as practicing with a gun but that's for another time. Saeko's talent is simply great with the sword, if this continues I wouldn't be surprised if she reached my current level in this one year. But she still has a long way to go to catch up to me as I'm always improving even if it is slow. She doesn't have enough experience yet so I'll just increase the pressure in our fights for her to improve.

The craziest thing that I found out during these 3 weeks is that my uncle was Shido's brother. I would have never guessed that my uncle is related to that cult fanatic. Well I do see some similarities as they both are manipulative and annoying to deal with. My uncle has been trying to brainwash me ever since we met just for what my father left behind. So as to not deal with his annoying ass I moved to a house that was relatively hidden from the outside.

Outside there is a courtyard, small dojo, and 2 storage rooms. There was a wall around the house as well as a forest covering it up from the outside world pretty well. Inside are 6 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and 2 bathrooms.

Using one of the storage rooms, I constructed it into a blacksmith/workshop to create my own custom made weapons as normal weapons won't work on zombies later on. I've recreated weapons from games and anime like Switchblade X9 from COD: Black Ops 4, Ebony and Ivory from Dante's arsenal, and Archangel from Cyberpunk.

The other storage room however has necessities like batteries, first aid kits, water, gas, electric generators and sanitation. I've been gradually buying large amounts of non-perishable food so I wouldn't get caught by the Takagi family and my uncle so as to not look suspicious.

Now all I have to do is train myself and the people around me for Z-Day.

Coming out of my thoughts I opened my eyes as the bell rang indicating lunch started. As I was about to get up Saya came walking over to me bento in hand.

"Hey, Kira, let's have lunch together?", she asked. In response I just stared at her for a while.

"W-What is it?", she asked, flustered.

"Nothing.", I said, shaking my head. "Yeah, but someone will join us for lunch."

"Who?", she questioned, with furrowed brows.

"It's Saeko," I responded, grabbing my bento.

"Saeko??" she muttered. "You mean Saeko Busujima?"

"Yes", I nodded, looking at her. "Why?"

"Hmph… I didn't think you would be on a first name basis with someone already." she pouted.

'Cute.', I couldn't help but think. As I was about to respond the classroom door slid open and everyone turned their heads to see a view of a smooth white skinned girl with purple hair and blue eyes. As everyone in the class was still stunned they failed to notice someone walking up to her. He was some guy on the track team named Tsunoda.

"H-Hi! Umm, I'm Tsunoda and it's nice to meet you Busujima-san" Tsunoda introduced himself nervously. Saeko didn't even register his existence as she had finally found the person she was looking for.

"Kira!" she called out, walking towards me. I looked towards Tsunoda who was fuming with anger looking at me. This is actually funny, he thinks he has a chance with THE Saeko Busujima when he's acquainted with the lowlife Shido and Miku Yuuki. These two are the people you want to have no relationship or conflict with. Shido's dad is a prominent politician so he uses that to get away with things and he's also very cunning. Yukki is known as this school's 2nd most beautiful after Saeko. She also has a lot of 'weird talk' going on around her.

"Are you ready for lunch?", I asked her, as I got out of my thoughts.

"Yep i'm ready", she smiled, before looking at the person next to me.

"Oh yeah i'm sorry for the late notice but Saya wanted to eat lunch together and I agreed. I hope you don't have a problem with it.", I told her, as I waited for a response, but no response came. Looking towards her I noticed Saeko was staring at Saya and vice versa. If anything it looked like they were analyzing each other as if they were opponents.

"Saya, Saeko.", I called out to them only to get no response. Thinking about what to do I decided to be a little mischievous today. Getting out of my seat, in rapid succession I kissed their cheeks ending their staredown.

"K-K-Kira, why did you do that?!", Saya yelled with a huge blush on her face. Saeko on the other hand was quietly looking the other way trying to hide the blush on her face. Though the blush on her ears were visible.

"You guys just kept staring at each other and ignored me when I called your names.", I said calmly, "Come on lunch will end soon and we haven't even started yet."

Regaining her composure Saeko told us that she knew a spot we wouldn't be bothered at. Following her out of the class we made our way towards the rooftop.

As Kira and them left they were finally relieved of the spell as Saeko left along with Kira.

"Kyaaaaaaaa"

"Die Ikemen!!!!"

"Who do you think Yagami-kun is dating?!"

"Does he have a harem?!"

Everyone in the class had their own opinion, they were just guessing since no one knew personally. As the class got more loud and rowdy they failed to notice the dark expression Tsunoda was showing.

"That bitch, who does she think she is ignoring me and that bastard Yagami thinking he's hot shit just because she hangs out with him. I'll make him pay and show him his place.", he muttered to himself.

Opening the door to the roof we were hit with a nice refreshing breeze. Making our way to one of the benches we sat down and began opening our bentos. Opening my bento a barrage of spices hit their nose making their mouth water. Inside was fried shrimp, rice, octopus sausage, spring salad and miso soup in a thermos.

As I was about to eat I couldn't help but notice the stares the girls were giving my food.

"Do you want to try it?" I asked them, to which they nodded. "Saya", I said as she perked her head up, "Come on say ah", she blushed but soon complied.

"Mmmmmm", Saya moaned in satisfaction.

"Saeko", I said, calling her over, " Come on say ah", I instructed to which she also complied.

"Mmmmmm", Saeko also moaned in satisfaction.

"Kira, this tastes delicious!", they said in unison.

"Thank you, I'm going to get something to drink. Do you want anything?", I offered.

"No, thank you" they responded, so I left.

As Kira left to get something to drink, Saya and Saeko stared at each other. After a while of silence Saeko spoke.

"Takagi-san, do you love Kira?"

"Yes, I do. We study together, hang out, and he's there for me when I need him. He's nice, kind, caring, and a little bit mischievous and I feel the most comfortable when I'm around him.", Saya answered seriously, "Do you also love Kira, Busujima-san?"

"I do. He's a great friend and mentor. He's strong, reliable, caring, and he has a calming, safe aura around him. He's taught me a lot of things and I'm grateful for it.", she responded with a smile.

"Well, as we both like him, what are we supposed to do?" Saya asked.

"I have no problem sharing Kira as it's natural for someone like Kira to have women flocking him as he is strong and good looking" Saeko told her calmly, "But will you accept that?"

"I-" Saya was about to start only to be cut off by the door being opened revealing Kira.

"I'm back, so what did I miss?" Kira asked curiously.

"It's a secret for us girls right, Saya?", Saeko said.

Although she was surprised by being called by her given name she quickly answered. "Yep that's right it's a secret for only me and Saeko."

Looking into each other's eyes they seemed to get the message that they will talk about this later.

Though Kira heard most of it.
