Ch. 98 Peaceful Reading Time
The rest of the day, Richard locked himself in his wife's room to be with his two beloved girls. He had ordered all the maids not to tell Anxia's room position to his cousin.
Apart from that, he also ordered the maid to deliver dinner to Anxia's room after making sure that Quinn would not follow the maid so that she would know where he was hiding.
Quinn had the right to give orders to the maids here and deserved the same service as Richard. But the controlling authority giving absolute orders still comes from Richard, while Quinn was only a distinguished guest.
The three figures were sitting on a long couch while reading different books. Richard sat with one leg crossed on his thigh, while Anxia laid her head on Richard's thigh while reading a children's book for Lori, who was sitting pretty on the other side of Richard.
Richard's right hand hugged his daughter while his left hand stroked Anxia's stomach gently.
