Ch. 110 Anxia And Quinn's Encounter
Like Anxia, who was looking for Richard, Quinn also wanted to find Richard because yesterday, the man had avoided her all day. She knew where Richard's chamber was, but Richard was not there when she came to the third floor.
The palace was huge and had four squares, each having ten to twelve chambers. The main square was part of the palace in the north wing facing the mountains and flower gardens.
Most of Richard's family preferred to stay in this central square, and Quinn already knew Richard would choose the chamber on the third floor, yet she found no one.
When Quinn asked the maids about the chamber that Richard selected, they sealed their lips. She couldn't threaten or fire them. It wasn't that she lacked authority but that she didn't want to ruin the image she had built over the years.
