"i guess it is progressing for the good, if i can just continue like this, i will not have to be worried about 'him' coming after me." Erissa thought as she had her way to the palace with her companion.

"it was not that i had planned to use someone from this world just because i know about their past, i am not a kind of person who uses someones trajic experiences just so that i can have something from it for my own good, but i was pushed to this spot by my one and only ex-fiance. no matter how much i tried to break my engagement with him, he would just not let me do so, he would chase after me time after time and leave me with the only option of evacating to the capital."

it was true that Erissa's fiance didn't love her, he was just obsessed with her, he didn't want any other man to look at her, touch her, or even talk to her. so when a man did so he would always take the anger out on Erissa and blame her for seducing all those men to herself. all of this had such a devasting effect on Erissa that she was traumatised her whole life. she didn't talk to men nor did she look at them.

his obsession with Erissa was so crazy, that once when she took a glace of wine offered to her by the servant, he broke her three fingers when reached home and didn't let her have even a glass of water or any treatment for three days straight.

just as Erissa was lost in her guesome thoughts, Arhon took notice of her unsetteling expressions and asked with concern, "do you find something uncomfortable"

Erissa was shaken out of her thoughts and while makin up an excuse said, "i guess the fall from earlier is having its way through pain in my leg" while taking her hand to her leg.

even before erissa could feel guilty for the lie that escaped her mouth she saw the world going round in front of her and was swept off her feet. and was being carried like a princess in the sturdy arms of the tall man which was a few minutes ago promoted to be her boyfriend.

after taking a few seconds of considerations, Erissa blushed till her neck and said, "what...WHAT do you think you are DOING..." after a pause that lasted no more than a mili second she continued, " i don't think i need you to carry me like that, please let go off me." trying to get off from his arms but it took not more than a minute for her to realise that she won't be able to budge him off even if she tried with all the might she have got into herself.

she soon gave up and asked for the reason to be carried like that, the answer to question must have been the first step of her falling for her beast.

"you said your leg hurt from before, if i didn't get you up like this you might get hurt even more" Arhon said with nothing but extreme worry reflecting in his eyes.

Erissa was speechless, she was feeling guilt and affection towards him rising in the pit of her stomach.

though Erissa grew up as a nobel, most of her life she had to hide her tears or pain she felt in order to be able to live, Erissa knew nothing of this world nor she knew anything of science, so coming up with a business plan that included lots of scientific researches was not an easy task. she had to stay up nights at the mere age 6 studying. she had to hide her identity as the business developer so to not harm the image of the business, this world was a lot similar to the previous world she lived in but the women of this world were considered to not have any say in the business matters of the household as it would have an omnious effect on it.

while going through the life, adapting to the surroundings, coming up with business plans, running away from her crazed fiance had occupied most of it, there was never a moment after coming to this world when Erissa felt relieved or had the chance to get her pain and suffering out through her eyes in form of tears. she thought once she could ensure her safety she will be able to live her life to its fullest later, but never realised how fast life was passing through her not waiting for her to enjoy it to its fullest.

Erissa never once felt safe in this world but now in the arms of a so called beast gave her great comfort and she felt relieved after a long period of time.

" i don't think..., you need to carry me for that, as the wound is not deep to begin with." said Erissa with a low voice and a blushed face.

"do you wish to keep our relationship a secret" asked Arhon while thinking to himself, "if that is what she wants then it makes sense, there is no way in hell that anyone would want to introduce me as their boyfriend to someone."

just as Arhon was going on in his head about how it all made sense if she wanted to do so, Erissa said with quite resolution in her voice, " there is no way in hell i am going to keep it a secret i need the whole world to know that i am dating you, and i do wish for you to do the same, or else it might hurt me."

Erissa's sudden exclamation made Arhon blush and he said with a shy voice, " if you say it out loud like that, there is no way any one is not going to ear about it.

the remark made Erissa conscious and she looked around while clapping both her hands on her mouth one on another, and after examining the spot she said "hey.....!! there is no one here, are you making fun of me " with a pout as she ended her say.

the act made Arhon laugh out loud,and he said while trying to hold back " that's not what i meant to do but you do look quite charming when you are all flustered like that"

"your expressions do contradict your words though, you seem to be having lots of while making fun of me" she said.

"i really do mean what i say though" said he, still trying to hold his laughter back.

just as they were conversing back and forth they reached their destination and even before they realised they were standing in front of the palace.
