We're at my bedroom, and I tuck myself in for the night's sleep. Beside me is Tripod, placing his head over my chest like he always does when I sleep. 

"Right, I'm ready. I need that good sleep, 'cause tomorrow is d-day, and I could use all the energy and concentration I can get. Hit me with the sleep stuff" I say.

Elen only shakes her head, having had enough of my hyperness for the day. Around her, I can still manage to act hyper even when my sword is missing. It's like being around her is calming for me, no matter how sacry she is. 

Elen closes her eyes, and I lay in bed, ready for my usual peaceful night. She always delivers on a good, dreamless, and peaceful sleep, courtesy of her song. 

Tonight she agreed to let me get ready first, instead of letting me fall asleep on my face at some random place of the house and wake up stiff all over.
