No need to worry

Chapter III

Four weeks passed since the find of the watch, and so far nothing beyond drastic has occurred. The watch didn't really show any signs of activation so because of that there wasn't much progress made, that was on Cameron's side though.

The doctor spent two weeks building a machine he believed would work in taking off the watch, after six tries and ten repairs the machine was somewhat functional, the only thing he needed now was Cameron who was with his mother at a local gas station.

After his grounded hours were done Cameron decided to help his father out with groceries, they drove all the way to the Flea Market which was far from their home. At a point they realized that they didn't have enough gas to drive all the way back home, so they stopped at the nearest gas station to gather up some fuel.

Cameron's mother was outside leaning against his car watching the gas price increase. He turned to one of the workers and they noticed the number and nodded.

"How the hell does this thing even work?" Cameron tapped the silhouette of the watch hoping something would magically happen. "If only this thing came with a manual or something, this would have been way more easier, but instead here we are."

Cameron stared at the watch for awhile and it glowed green, he casually rolled his eyes indicating he was use to this happening. The dark skinned boy rubbed his thumb on the silhouette hoping again something would happen.

"Shit!" Cameron scolded slamming his wrist into the car seat. "How the hell am I gonna get you off me?"

Cameron's mother looked around and noticed something from the far distance: three man ran out from the store with supplies in hand. The store manager ran out and cursed at the two men.

One of the employees immediately ran to the side of the store and started calling for help. The worker Cameron's father was looking at quickly ran to the criminals, one of them nudged their friend, the friend turned and with a blaster rather than a gun in hand shot at the worker who quickly evaded by jumping out of the way.

Cameron was wide eyed as he helplessly watched the fire shot hurdle to his mother in intimidating speed, he wanted to do something, but what?

From the back of the store, a shadowy figure tapped his/her/it's staff and a green pulse shot out and for a second everything froze and then resumed two seconds after.

The fired shot missed, by a huge margin it even missed the gas tank that was behind Cameron's father and on top of that the police arrived on time. One of the robbers was able to escape, while the others were caught.

Cameron relaxed in his seat after everything ended, he was much more calm now.

➜Abandoned Factory [Middleton Forest]

Cameron returned to the factory, as he does everyday, even when his feeling under the weather, he would always find a way to visit the doctor. The dark skinned boy jumped in the arm chair and relaxed, the doctor was busy editing his machine.

"So how was your day?" The doctor asked, searching for a part.

"Sucky. How far are you from removing the watch?"

"Not far actually, just give me like about six days and this machine will be finished and that watch will be off your wrist."

"I could be dead in those six days."

"Yes. But that mecha drone has not appeared in a long time so we can only guess it's destroyed or out of commission for awhile."

Cameron looked down at the watch, "Yeah, there's nothing to worry about for now."

"Don't stress boy, by next week that device will be off your wrist and you will be a free bird to fly."

[Unknown specified location]

A man threw a bunch of tools onto the ground. He kneeled down and started picking the ones he wanted, when he felt a tap on his shoulder, he turned around and his friend stood before him. "You have to see the bird I caught."

The two men walked to a red car, one of the men opened up the trunk and pointed inside. "Whoa!"

"I know I found it after we killed that ranger guy for his weapons."

"What the hell is it anyway?"

"Beats me, but it looks awake."

"We should bring it over to the boss. His gonna love the sight of this thing."

[Unknown specified location]

A man with glasses entered his abandoned facility and was greeted by the two men. The two stepped aside revealing the thing stashed in the trunk. The man turned to the boys.

"Is this some kind of drone?"

"We don't know boss, but we think it comes with great value."

"We can sell these parts for a high price in the black market." The boss said.

One of the men tapped the drone and it started shaking before shooting forward a mini sized drone from its broken eye.

"Device hotpsur... systems hacked by Dr- new location... Old Dale Camp..."

The mini drone glowed red before blasting off.

"Seems like this thing still works, imagine the amount of money we'll get for selling a working drone."

Sparks flew out of the drone as its leg twitched. "It's working. Selling it will be stupid, take it out of the trunk we're gonna run some tests to see if it's actually worth our time."

"Yes boss."

The Omnitrix will be used, just wait a little bit.
