It was all just a test
The sun shined bright onto the roof of the Sienna where Gal could be seen jumping around in a tiny circle.
"Cameron! Katherine! YOU MUST COME DOWN HERE IMMEDIATELY!"
The strong shout from Marcy grabbed the attention of the two teens, they shared a small glance with one another before exploding out from inside the Sienna with their abilities activated. Cameron had turned into BurnOut while Katherine had her orb circling her body.
The two looked around for any sign of danger and found absolutely nothing. They looked straight ahead where Marcy stood with two teens around their age standing behind her. The two teens gave a small wave while Marcy snickered.
➜ [ Moments Later ]
After the entire fakeout which left their level of trust for Marcy at a questionable point; Marcy introduced Cameron and Katherine to the two teens who were apparently peacemaker kids like themselves.
"And that's why I wasn't worried about them knowing your secret identity." Marcy enabled.
"Honestly, at this point I'm pretty cool with people knowing my secret identity it kinda makes me feel more heroic."
"Totally not you wishing to be me." Katherine added.
"It's totally not."
"I'm gonna need you two to take care of these little future Peacemakers while I search for this person that's trying to kill them."
"Why do we have to do it? This is supposed to be our vacation not our workacation." Katherine complained.
"Nice one sis."
"See this as your first assignment as junior Peacemakers, trust me you'll all do great." Marcy said before leaving.
[ An hour later ]
"Wooow. I still can't believe that all those alien heroes were just one kid."
"In a way it kinda shows that no matter your age you can still be a hero."
"Whoa. I'm gonna need you two to stop right there, in a couple of months I'm gonna be 15 years old which means I'm not a kid."
"But you're currently 14."
"It's my 15th year of being alive so I'm technically 15 years old."
"That is true, but you're still 14 years old."
Cameron starts up the omnitrix and was planning on threatening the kids, but Katherine stopped him just before his threat could go far. Mina being very curious on how the omnitrix operated rushed forward and pushed down the dial which made Cameron transform.
"Whoa?!" The twins jumped. "You look way uglier in person."
CrashSpring sighs. "I'm gonna go out and clear my head."
"Whoa! You can't leave me with them?!"
CrashSpring opened the Sienna door and shrugged before leaping off. Katherine turned to the twins with a fake smile on her face.
[ Meanwhile ]
CrashSpring changed his mind on clearing his head and instead started searching the city for Marcy. In his head she was probably fighting some evil mafia gang isolated somewhere in the city and he really wanted to be a part of that.
The alien was springing for a long while when he caught sight of a geared fighter flying directly towards him, the fighter tackled the alien straight into the ground which provoked him.
The two engaged in a small fight that showed the capabilities of the geared fighter and the faults of CrashSpring who was struggling to keep up with the fighter. The omnitrix later went offline and Cameron had to use his abilities of running to gain pace away from the geared fighter.
[ Moments Later ]
Katherine and the twins were stood outside with Katherine dressed very fashionable.
"The mall?" Mina raised a question. "We've never gone to the mall without the supervision of an adult before."
Katherine lowered down to Mina's height. "Well guess what kids? I actually am an adult, I know I might not look at it, but I am."
"No you're not." Michell laughed.
"Well I am now. You two little twins are coming with me whether you like it or not-"
"-We have to get out of here!" Cameron exclaimed as he made his way to the three. "We literally need to get the hell out of here."
"We were about to go to the mall so what ever you have going can wait till we're done."
"No mall! I met up with that guy after them and he is skilled as fuck so we need to get out of here or else-"
"-no! You had your fun. Now it's my turn to have my fun. Now you can either come along or you can stay here and take care of these two little twatts."
"Not much of an option is there?"
[ During their time at the Mall ]
Their time at the Mall was somewhat well spent. They stayed together for most of the explorations before deciding to later split up so they could search their own areas.
Cameron and Mina went to the food court which wasn't much for them, but they viewed it to be way better than spending time with Michell and Katherine who were spending their time shopping like animals.
Michell and Katherine found themselves going too almost every single store in the mall trying on outfits and not buying them, it wasn't all the outfits they didn't buy, because some of the stores were able to recognise Katherine as the girl who saved a superstar so allowing her to wear something from their store placed their store on the map.
The two were moments away from receiving another piece of clothing when the geared fighter fell from the ceiling. The fighter grabbed Michell and was about to fly off with him when Katherine stopped the fighter with her powers.
Katherine and the fighter locked eyes for a moment before moving toward one another and fighting. Their fight started with an advantage from the fighter who was overpowering Katherine with his skills, later though Katherine was able to use her surroundings and her powers to gain her own advantage against the fighter.
Their battle broke down most of the store which angered the manager to another degree. As the battle carried on Katherine noticed how strong the fighter was compared to her and just when she realised this Munch appeared and shot a green energy ball against the face of the fighter.
"I warned you about him!" Munch exclaimed.
"I needed my time alright."
"Whatever. We're here together so let's give him an old fashioned Lenardo beatdown."
"Not possible. I have a strong headache and my vision is becoming blurry because I've been using my powers for too long so I can't help. The best I can do is gather enough power to teleport us to the Sienna."
"Hold him off I hear you."
Using the broken material around him coursed by the recent battle between Katherine and the fighter, Munch was able to hold off the geared fighter long enough for Katherine to gain the needed energy.
The repeated beating Munch was receiving almost didn't seem worth it at a point, but when Katherine finished her energy gathering she quickly teleported them all out of them mall.
The teleportation didn't leave them near to the Sienna, they had to run toward it. By the time they arrived Cameron had already turned back, and Gal had the Sienna covered and ready to drive.
[ Moments Later ]
The fighter flew really close behind the four trying to get a hold onto the Sienna so he could take the twins. The twins were so mortified that they hid their heads against the legs of Cameron who wasn't in the drivers seat like Katherine.
"Marcy should be here any second now." Cameron noted.
"Yeah! There's no need to worry you two, we will be saved way before you know it."
"Fuck he's really gaining on us." Cameron acknowledged while looking out the window. "Can't we activate battle mode or something Gal?"
Gal glowed a no.
"Then try to go faster than this!" Katherine exclaimed which made Gal upset so he shocked her a small a bit.
The fighter activated their thrusters and rocketed straight into the backside of the Sienna which left the four speechless. The watch was still in red so Cameron had no way of protection.
Katherine was their best chance, but she was still weak from her match from before. The fighter tried grabbing Michell, but instead got Mina who jumped in to save her brother. The fighter was then blasted out of the Sienna by Gal.
The fighter continued chasing after the Sienna with Mina in his grasp. Gal tried shooting at the fighter, but that idea was stopped since they didn't want to hurt Mina. The fighter then made his way onto the roof of the Sienna and Gal took this as his chance and combined with the fighter.
"One of us has to take the wheel!" Katherine pointed out.
Cameron nodded and ran up to the steering wheel and drove the Sienna for about five seconds before the omnitrix glowed green.
"I think we just got our needed advantage." Cameron activated the omnitrix. "It's time to be a hero!"
A green flash shined through the Sienna; A bunch of Mimicks climbed out the window and made their way onto the roof of the Sienna. The fighter shocked Gal off of them and then redirected his attention to the Mimicks.
The Mimicks quickly put up a fight against the fighter who continuously tried using his kills to knock back each and every Mimick, but the aliens kept on coming. A larger advantage was later given to the aliens when all thirteen of them tackled the fighter off the road and onto a patch of grass.
The aliens used their mole like features to play with the fighter which made it way more difficult for the fighter to fight back against the Mimicks. Their fight was later moved into a spot isolated from the people where the Mimicks continued with their strong advantage.
Whilst their fight continued Katherine arrived and lifted the fighter with her little energy and Gal held the fighter by combining in to his suit.
"Fine! Fine!" The fighter exclaimed. "You win! You two pass alright!"
"What?"
The helmet of the fighter built away revealing Marcy who had a smile on her face.
"I knew you two could do it!"
"This was a test?!" Katherine exclaimed. "This was a test?!"
"And the two of you passed!"
[ Moments Later ]
The twins who were completely shaken were taken home by one of the peacemaker agents. Cameron, Katherine and Marcy continued back on the road once more.
"Was that test really necessary?" Cameron asked.
"Of course it was! You guys were so awesome there, you really almost had me beat."
"Almost?" Katherine raised a question.
"Remember Gal and I are partners and he upgrades anything he attaches to so imagine he upgraded my suit and we fought."
"Damn."
