28 Baiting a Goddess

The first thing Raynor did when he arrived in Sydney was to check the shops.

It was warmer in Australia than it was in Italy. For that, the Godslayer and his group of girls went to a clothing store.

The girls learned not to overdo it when it comes to clothes. More specifically Erica knows not to overdo it. Ena and Yukino are more passive on this while Liliana would not simply dare to do it.

This way instead of trying out a bunch of clothes on Raynor the blonde knight of his simply had thoughtful looks as she was thinking about how to dress up her boyfriend.

While all this was happening the Storm King was looking around until his eyes landed on mannequins, it was a female one dressed in nice and sexy shorts. 

'Oh…ho… These look nice!'

"It appears I have found something nice," Raynor said while looking at those sexy shorts, to his knowledge, they should be called denim shorts.

"What did you find?" Erica asked him curiously as she was the closest to him.

He smirked at first before grabbing her shoulders and making her turn to face the mannequins. He then whispered into her ear.

"Since we are in such a hot place I want all of you in those shorts~," He said with a smirk, her reaction to him was a simple nod.

"Of course, if this is what my King wants." The blonde easily agreed with him. She likes it when he orders them like this. And she loves to dress how her boyfriend likes. Especially when he doesn't hide his likes.

This is progress, which she is following closely, by the end of it she will have a perfect wardrobe and solidified the position as his favourite. The other girls have no idea what the blonde is planning in the long run.

Regardless she went over and collected the girls and then explained what Raynor wanted. This made Yukino slightly blush but she nodded, while the other two simply nodded with quire serious nods and went over to find these shorts he was talking about.

While they are all doing that the Storm King walked over to find some clothes for himself.

His eyes quickly ended up on the Hawaiian-style shirt. He remembered Doni wearing one of these.

They look very comfortable!

He then looked for shorts to fit with a similar style. 

"Yes, let's feel like we are on a true vacation," Raynor said with a smirk as he picked the clothes which were blue and yellow with some palm trees.

A few minutes later he changed his clothes and waited for the girls.

First, one was Erica swiftly followed by Liliana and then Ena while the last one is the shyest one which is Yukino.

"What do you think? You didn't say anything about the tops, so I went with my favourite colour." The blonde said that as she showed off her legs, the shirt she had on showed off her belly which made Raynor appreciate, she was sexy as always.

"Very beautiful my darling knight." 

The blonde beauty smiled when he complimented her looks. This made the other two and even the shy black-haired girl want to get his opinion! 

He didn't even need to be told since he wanted to see them closer anyway. So he started with Liliana, These kinds of shorts fit her type the best because she is a leg girl. 

Seeing how he was looking at her made the silver-haired girl a little bit shy, but she was fighting it back.

"Very nice, my beautiful Fairy." He inspected her from a few angles.

His comments made her smile proudly for a bit.

"It means a lot…my Lord." 

"Do call me by my name in public, you are my girlfriend after all." He said while gently grabbing her chin and making her look directly into his eyes. For a moment she lost herself in his eyes but then she snapped out.

"Y-Yes! I mean! Yes." The girl's mind was in the complete gutter by this point. She expected him to kiss her because she wanted it. 

Though as if he was reading her mind, he did give her a peck on the lips which made her mind go blank for a second. She needed to reboot!

"Good job, Lily continues to be this cute." He slightly teased before progressing to Ena who was slightly pouting.

"Ena wants a kiss too!"

"Of course, my Hime-Miko is beautiful and sexy." He said while giving her a peck. Then checking her out. Her body type was like Erica with quite nice proportions so she was quite sexy. 

And lastly, it was Yukino who just wanted to hide after seeing all the kissing and slight cuddling they were doing. Yes, Raynor doesn't mind touching them when he is inspecting his girls.

The thing was that they were in public and few people noticed that this guy is hanging out with FOUR females. And he is acting like they are all his girlfriends or something! It's just absurd!

"Your shyness is only making me want to tease you, Yu-ki-no," Raynor said with a smile, before changing into a smirk as he wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her closer. His hands then proceeded to get lower and stroke her legs.

This made her blush harder before taking a deep breath.

"We are in public after all. It's not easy to forget such a thing." She said softly while trying to control her anxiety.

He hummed at her, his other three have different upbringings so they act differently but his dear Yukino is quite good at holding up as it is.

"Yes, well let's proceed with paying for these, and then let's get some food before resting."

All four of them nodded at him. However, he didn't let go of the black-haired ice Queen of his. He needs to pamper her more for getting over her shyness.

After paying with a golden credit card the group excited the mall and saw several men dressed in black suits waiting for them.

It appears the magic society finally found them.

"Storm King, it an honour to meet you, my name is—"

~~~~~~Later~~~~~~ 

After a day of rest, the group was ready to leave for the desert.

Raynor asked his girls to make appropriate preparations for food and shelter, the weather is not an issue, so it will be a nice camping trip for a few days.

The best part is that the road is pretty much a straight line, the majority of the time.

This was where the Godslayer realised that he could bring a super-fast car and just drive it as fast as he could. It would be amazing!

An idea for later, for now, he has a camping trip. He got himself one of those mini houses on wheels. It reminded him of Ben 10 and his road trip. His was the same only no aliens instead just some Heretic Gods or in this case, a Goddess chasing him.

"You know I should have gotten a driver for this. This trip is just perfect to cuddle." Raynor said that as he was driving it.

"Yes, well it was your call," Erica said while sitting on the main passenger seat. The other three girls were at the back enjoying their leisure time. 

"Yes, well, next time I will be ready." He said with a nod to himself.

The trip lasted for around 6 hours. 

The Godslayer wanted to make enough space and be far away from any sort of settlement. 

Once they were in the middle of nowhere they built their camp and waited for Goddess Athena.

It took some time, Raynor even got comfortable, he made the weather to be just perfect, not too hot or too cold. The best part was that he had Yukino with him who can cook. So, he enjoyed her cooking. It was simply incredible, eating homemade food in the middle of nowhere.

But then… Just before it became nighttime the surroundings changed and once again in front of the camp a middle school girl appeared. With her dark purple eyes with snake slits and silver hair even though the majority of it was hidden under a hat one could see that this girl was very special.

"Godslayer Raynor Valeron, we meet again, and this time you have what I want." The goddess said that as her power started to climb up.

She was ready to fight.

"Athena we meet again, and yes, this time I have what you want." As he said that he pulled out the medallion. Showing it to her.

"I will give it to you once we take some distance from here." As Raynor said, he used his Zeus Authority to start flying.

Athena followed after him without saying anything.

"Wait a second! We are here to let him face a Heretic God!?" Yukino finally grasped what was going on. She had her hunch, but she always kept it to herself. 

Now she knows! They went to Italy to collect that medallion and then went to Australia to fight her!

"Indeed. And it was much better than I thought." Erica said while brushing her hair with her fingers. She likes this kind of trip now. The reason for it is because of Raynor's powers they don't need to care about bugs or excess heat or coldness. This is just perfect.

"B-But…"

"No buts, he asks we deliver, by this point, it should be clear. He is our King, a very benevolent King I might add." 

The black-haired girl quickly shut her mouth. She remembered the Italian King…he wanted to fight and that fight happened right in the centre of old Rome… 

If not for Raynor's swift actions the whole area could have been destroyed.

"Fine… Though we need to think of ways to make him do such things less…" The girl said with a sigh.

"Heh, why not, you are his manager, I am his Knight, Lily is his Witch and Ena is his Hime-Miko. We simply follow and do whatever he wants to do. You are the one who is connected the most with the common world. So think of ways to keep him 'Grounded'." The blonde knight said with a teasing smile. This made Yukino frown. She realised that these girls don't truly care, they, after all, grew up on the magical side of the world. Unlike her.

That moment in the distance dark purple and black energy exploded the night sky instantly turned completely dark, and there were no stars. It was simply black, pitch dark. 

The four ladies felt a cold chill wash over them, as they felt Heretic God's power skyrocket to unprecedented levels. 

"She regained her power! Let's go watch!" Erica quite giddily dashed towards where the power has originated! This is an incredible time to watch a 'fight' between Godslayer and a Heretic God.

Though the Blonde Knight and Ena are suspecting that this will be not a fight but a one-sided beatdown. After all, Athena is a Greek God.

Only Yukino was slightly panicked but Liliana was there with her.

"Let's go, we can fly and watch it from the air. Most of the time no one pays attention to what is in the air." The silver-haired witch said with a small smile.

*Sigh*

"Very well."

Sure enough, the pair started to fly.

~~~~~~Few Moments Ago, With Raynor~~~~~~ 

The Storm King landed on the dry ground. The place was perfect to fight; there was nothing in all directions for at least several hundred kilometres. 

They don't need to hold back.

A few seconds later Goddess Athena appeared not far from his location. She was holding a scythe with a snake on it. Showing her Authority over snakes and Death.

Raynor that moment casually threw the medallion to her. 

The Goddess simply caught it.

"It's yours, fuse properly with it. I want a good fight." 

The Goddess frowned for a second. She felt that something was odd about this situation, but her lust for her old power overwhelmed her reason and she started to fuse with it.

"Hehehe, fine, I will play along, witness my full power Godslayer!!!"

Dark violet and black energy surrounded her as she started to grow.
