The plan

"It says here that vampires are scared of the sun." Dave said pointing at one of the pages of the book he was holding. "It says that they had come to earth before, but it was only at night, because they are scared of the sun". 

Father Friday kept the book he was holding and walked to Dave. "Perhaps this book would be helpful" he said. "I heard rumors that there are some vampires that are not affected by the sun, but all those are fallacy I guess, we finally have a concrete step to follow from this book"..

"And what step is that?".

"We attack them at the day time, since they cannot come out under the sun". Father Friday replied. "Incase things get messy we can run outside fully sure that they cannot come after us." 

Dave nodded. "But we know that vampires are fast and fierce, how do you think they would just let us run out like that without overtaking us?". 

"That's a very simple case, before now I've been researching on how to slow a vampire down , and guess what I found?". Father Friday asked.

"What did you find?".

"Beetroot can slow a vampire down.. it can even make them slower than humans."

"Great, so we just have to go there and throw  a beetroot at them?" Dave asked.  Father Friday laughed for some time. "No, we need to figure out a way to put it in their drinks or food or something." 

"And how do we intend to do that ?".

"We need to get their trust. Make them think we are their friends and when they become free with us, we strike. They would not see it coming.". Father Friday answered. Dave saw reason I'm what he has said, he looked at him for a few seconds, then he nodded and said,; "Let's begin"...

"I think I need to get a Job here on Earth". Lucifer said as he took a huge bite off the sandwich and sipped from the hot cup of coffee which the hotel attendant had served him as breakfast .

"What do you mean get a job? Are you planning on staying here forever?". Luciana asked, almost getting pissed .

"No I'm not, it's just until my father does or says something about me coming to earth, but until then, you don't expect me to keep running to and from the sea in search of gold everyday do you?."

Luciana shook her head in surrender. " Alright where do you have in mind".

Lucifer smiled."well, I did a favour for  the sheriff at the police station to get you out. And now he works at the Queen's palace. So I was thinking, if I want to end up at the palace, perhaps I should start from the police station".  Luciana shrugged "the police station?, No I can't follow you there, I'd end up beating up those idiots that took me in".

"Well then don't come, you can go work somewhere else.. afterall they say the less the merrier right?".

"No it's the more the merrier, and good luck with your police work". Luciana replied .
