Chapter 51

He tells me he needs to iron out the details and turns abruptly walking down the corridor giving neither an elaboration nor a hint but he sounded certain when he told me he had an idea so I'm choosing to trust him 

I make my way back to the dorm and open the door to see Michiko AND Dorothea sitting on Michiko's bed with colorful bottles of nail polish scattered around them and Michiko gushing over the rainbow nails she was painting on Dorothea, they both turn to me when I shut the door, Michi giving me her signature blinding smile then her nose wrinkles, a familiar gesture but this time it had no disgust laced into it 

"You were with Grozdan?" she more stated than asked a question to which I answered with a simple 

"Yup" kicking my shoes under my bed trying to ignore that they were having a little nail polish party without me 

"How is he?" She asked with her head down pretending to be enamored with a bottle of nail polish glitter
