184 Chapter 182: Arseid Style

Giliath demands your power stones!

*

"A merger of two houses...Such has been unprecedented to date, now that I think about it. The nobles are very structured. If this plan does come to fruition, no doubt will it cause panic. Perhaps even a structural collapse.", Victor answered seriously. "But you still plan on doing such?", Victor decided to ask me.

"Angie and I haven't decided on a time frame, but when it does, we will be acting swiftly. Besides, Angie still has a little debt she has to pay with her father. It would do the two well if they have a clash.", I answered, nodding my head at Victor.

"I see. It would be much more potent if you had actual land to factor into this plan of yours. Have you had any interest in discussing your house matters with His Majesty? The Phoenix family was known to be the eyes and ears of the royal family, while the Arseid family were their Knights and the Vanders their last line of defense to the throne.", Victor said, showing interest in his eyes. "The Phoenix Family also had that peculiar power of theirs. You've unlocked it, haven't you?", Victor asked me, which drew my interest.

"Ahh. You must mean these.", I said, closing my eyes for a moment, only to hear a single notification sound off in my mind.

[Vermillion Eyes have been activated.]

Seeing that notification, my eyes suddenly began to change. An invisible wave of pressure also suddenly swept out. With Victor being so close, he was the first to feel it. Further beyond their room, the maids doing their work suddenly felt a cold chill go down their spines. Klaus was also with them toward the kitchen preparing the meal for tonight as he felt this as well. He turned toward a certain direction of the house, only to have a smile appear on his face before he returned to his duties.

Further up to where the private rooms were held, a singular blue haired girl could now be seen stripped of her clothes, allowing her breasts to stay afloat while resting inside of the bath she was currently in. Yet this pressure reached her, which caused the girl's head to turn toward a certain direction as well.

"Hmm?", Laura said, uttering to herself as she enjoyed the warmth of the bath she was now in. 'Battle Qi? I don't recognize this signature either...Must be that boy's', Laura thought to herself, wondering who the pressure she had just felt belonged to. She did not see the boy partake in battle, but she wondered if what she felt now was his. She knew both her father's and Klaus's Qi, so feeling this unknown to her, Laura could only assume as such.

Thinking that, Laura dunked her head inside the bathtub, feeling the pressure now fade, letting her eyes rest a bit.

As for me though who was still back on the first floor, my eyes changed from how they normally appeared. My eyes were mostly golden, looking very similar to that of a Hyuga from Naruto, but I still had my pupils. In the past, a vermillion hue would wrap just around my iris, but as I've been finding myself using it more and more, the golden area remained unchanged, but now my whole pupils are a deep crimson in color. If one looked for

a while, they would likely get intimidated if their will was weak enough.

Unfortunately I did not see such a thing happen during the Reinford Building raid, considering my enemies were assassins then. But now, with me activating Vermillion Eyes again, Victor remained unscathed from feeling such a pressure. Yet, I could only blink my eyes at Victor.

Since Vermillion Eyes were tied to my gamer system, I now saw a health bar appear over Victor, as well as a minimap appearing inside my mind. That wasn't all either. I now saw a level attached to Victor.

Victor S. Arseid - Lv. 250/250

Stats: ???

Seeing Victor's status all of a sudden, I could only take in an inward breath of cold air. Sure enough it's pretty much the same as when I met him as a young boy back during our visit to the capital. Still, seeing the Level still 250, I do wonder, will there ever be a chance to surpass that?

"Sure enough, it looks like you have a pretty good mastery of this ability. Your ancestors would do you proud.", Victor said, observing my eyes as he smiled at me.

"Mmm. It really is a shame I couldn't meet my mother. I hear she passed away while giving birth to me.", I said, revealing a hint of sadness as I responded.

"Yes, quite unfortunate indeed, but those most knowledgeable of the War of the Lions know that house Phoenix perished during the war. If they were to know that the Phoenix bloodline continued, I am curious to see what would happen. And speaking of which, I happened to come across you giving Her Highness a spin during her stay in Liberl.", Victor continued to say to me, which caused me to laugh.

"Hahaha, she sure did. I haven't seen Her Highness since then. I am guessing she is doing well in St. Astraia.", I said, wondering to myself how Alfin has been since she came to visit us in Liberl during the Queen's celebration that year.

"I haven't paid a visit to the capital in a while, so I am not sure, but one could assume as such. You did talk about one reason you wanted to come to Legram already. I can only guess what your second reason is. It likely has something to do with those trial grounds appearing in Heimdallr.", Victor wondered.

"That's right. I feel I am not quite ready to attempt the trials I am required to go through. You did extend your hand at me along with the Thunder God. But all jokes aside, I do wonder, does that offer still stand?", I decided to ask Victor, which caused him to squint his eyes at me.

"Now I see. You came here to improve your swordsmanship.", Victor replied.

"Yes. You personally don't have to become my master, but if possible, I would love to improve my swordsmanship by learning the Arseid style.", I happily responded.

"Haha. I think that can be arranged, but why do I get the feeling that you just don't want to stop there?", Victor said, revealing a rare grin my way.

"True. I have a full year to spend here in Erebonia, and I want to make full use of it. Legram is the first stop in my travels. In my plans, I do have interest in learning the Vander swordsmanship as well.", I said while nodding my head.

"That seems to be the case then. I will agree to your request. But on the condition that you are to see it through. I do not want any half-assed training the moment you step foot in my dojo.", Victor said in a serious tone.

"Of course. I did learn under the Sword Fox. I will definitely take my training seriously.", I responded, acknowledging Victor's words.

"Good. We will proceed to the dojo tomorrow then. It is already approaching evening and dinner will be set soon. Laura will also be happy that she will be getting a fellow disciple of similar strength to her. Most of the other students haven't really been her match lately, so she's been finding difficulty in improving.", Victor explained.

"I can sorta see that happening.", I answered with another laugh. "And Klaus did invite me to partake in your meal as well. That's alright, isn't it?", I decided to ask.

"Yes. I would normally send you to an inn after, but considering that you're of nobility like us, you can stay at our residence, should you desire to do so, during your stay here in Legram. I am sure Laura will be happy making another new friend as well.", Victor said with a smile. I could definitely feel the love he has for his daughter after he said that, haha.
