Meanwhile, as a certain violet haired boy and a plum haired girl began to explain their situation to Liberl's Princess and Her Majesty the Queen...

Somewhere to the north of Crossbell City, residing nearby a sole fancy two to three floor fancy mansion could be seen situated not too far off from a beautiful waterfall passageway that connected further north to a mining city, by itself. The only thing this mansion had was a closed gate that prevented trespassers from entering. One even needed a unique key to enter the courtyard.

This building was named the Rosenberg Studio. Only those who were granted special requests could be given entry to this building.

This studio wasn't one of those that fancied the musical arts. No. Far from it.

This was a doll-maker studio, hailed by one of the most famous doll-makers, if not the most famous, in all of Zemuria.

Every doll the owner had produced here was unique. So unique that each one appeared human-like. The design was that exquisite. When one would appear at auctions, it would attract nobles and rich people far and wide across the continent. Each one would sell for millions and millions of mira. The owner has even reached the point recently where he had started to make automatons, Dolls that could even move like humans could.

On the outside, at least.

Unbeknownst to many, the Rosenberg Studio held a single secret, only known to a few.

It hid away the secret that it was one of the Thirteen Factories.

Unknown amount of arge underground underneath the studio...

A single room could be seen with various types of equipment and large empty canisters scattered around. Toward the room's door in front, off to the left, a single padded chair surrounding several orbal monitors connected to the wall could be seen. If a modern person saw this computer setup, they would likely get jealous. Especially so for a certain freckled boy...

A girl, seemingly no older than eight or nine years wearing a frilly purple dress could be seen sitting in the sole padded chair, typing away on her keyboard. She sported violet hair very similar to the violet haired boy and violet haired girl back at the castle, but her hair was more vibrant.

Many moving images could be seen covering different areas. On one particular monitor had a white castle in its view with little specks as people moved out and about. On another, it showed a certain black haired boy and silver haired teen going into a cave, ready and armed. The violet haired girl could be seen humming away as she continued to type.

"Hehe, it looks like the Professor's Astral Code is working like a charm. It even hasn't been that long since the orbal network was introduced, but we can already observe like this.", The violet haired girl happily said to herself as she hummed. Her eyes darted between the two screens.

"Big Brother looks like he safely returned from his trip, so nothing out of the ordinary happened after all. Big Brother Loewe and Joshua haven't cleared out every cult base yet for the ones that are on our list, but I'd say the cleanup is mostly done...", The violet haired girl continued to say to herself.

As the violet haired girl idled away in her own free time, a few moments passed before she heard a hissing sound of a door not too far away. Unlike other doors, this one actually opened by itself the moment it detected a figure approaching it. A sole figure soon entered the room, appearing to be a rather aged man. He had a decent-sized white beard covering his face too.

"Oya, so you were still here Renne. I thought you would have gone out to Crossbell by now for some shopping.", The aged man said, rubbing his beard a bit as he arrived in the room. He carried one or two shopping bags himself, mostly composed of electrical equipment made of orbal energy. Seeing this aged man arrive, a smile bloomed on the girl's face.

"Welcome back, Meister. It truly is rare for you to go out of your comfort zone.", The violet haired girl named Renne retorted.

"Hmph. You've been cooped up here all day. Every once in a while it is nice to get some fresh air especially since you are still a young brat.", The aged man retorted back.

"Hahaha, I can do that any time I want to, unlike you. But right now I'm acting as an Enforcer to make sure the Gospel Plan starts without issue. It's been rather peaceful in Liberal as of late, so it will be opportune to strike soon.", Renne happily said.

Hearing that, the aged man shook his head with a defeated sigh.

"They really made you an enforcer huh? Those snakes really are something else.", The aged man replied as he sighed.

"Hehe, I had to. Big Brother gave me this goal, after all. Now we'll be able to spend even more time together.", The girl named Renne happily said. After Renne said that, the aged man saw Renne hop down from her chair, only to walk past him into the opposite end of the room. Over here was quite the contrast to the other end.

It almost appeared to be a hanger of sorts. A metal catwalk could be seen a ways up, allowing one to walk across it. The hanger-like room wasn't empty either. A large humanoid doll of sorts could be seen standing there, spanning upward tens of feet. Many large cables could be seen attached to it. In its current state, it seemed as if it was almost operational. Once Renne reached this giant doll, a smile bloomed on her face before she continued to speak.

"Isn't that great, Pater-Mater? You'll be able to meet Big Brother soon too!", Renne spoke excitedly as she looked at the giant doll in front of her.

After Renne said that, a momentary silence swept the room around the aged man and Renne. And yet, as if reacting to Renne's voice, the eyes of the giant doll suddenly glowed, albeit faintly. It then let out a low pitched humming sound, as if the doll acknowledged Renne's words. Seeing the doll do that, Renne's eyes lit up.

"So you already went ahead and gave this doll a name, huh?", The aged man said, shaking his head as he saw an excited Renne. "The name Pater-Mater doesn't sound too bad though.", The aged man continued to say.

"Right? I did have another name in mind but I chose Pater-Mater. Even if the Professor was the one who built it, Pater-Mater still chose me out of all of those other kids.", Renne answered, only to look back at the aged man. "And now, you only have to put on the finishing touches, right, Mister Joerg?", Renne asked.

"Pretty much. Pater-Mater, as you call it Renne, will likely be fully operational before the year is over.", The aged man called Joerg replied.

"Hohoho, well isn't some good news then?", A third voice said, reaching their ears, only to hear another hissing sound. A third figure appeared before them, who seemed to be a bit older than the aged man. This was the Professor, one of the Anguis pillars of Ouroboros. The moment he walked in, he disregarded Joerg entirely, only to have his own eyes sparkle seeing the giant doll before.

"Oooh! It really is close to completion. Good work, Joerg.", The Professor replied happily.

"Hmph, you don't need to thank me. I am getting paid a good amount, coming from the likes of you.", Joerg replied with a hint of scorn in his tone. "Apparently it even has a name now.", Joerg continued to say.

"Is that so?", The Professor asked with interest, only to look at Renne.

"That's right. You just missed it, but Pater-Mater even reacted to me. I can't wait to take him out for a spin!", Renne replied happily.

"I take it the name is Pater-Mater? It's not bad. To think it would already start reacting to you...It has not shown much sign since that initial test. This is most good news.", The Professor responded happily.

"So this is the one?", A fourth voice suddenly struck their ears, which caused Joerg and Renne to blink her eyes.

"Hoho, I seemed to have lost myself for a moment. I do apologize for that, Lady KeA, but yes this is the latest creation in the Gordias-class series.", The Professor explained, only to look down next to him. Before the two could react, they saw a little girl who seemed to be no older than Renne, sporting green hair.

"A child?", Renne couldn't help but blurt out, seeing KeA arrive beside the Professor's side.

Even though Renne retorted that, a smile still appeared on KeA's face, while a serious look appeared in Joerg's eyes.

"It's nice to meet you. You're Renne, right? I have been being shown different bases Ouroboros operates at, but this place is one of them too, isn't it, Professor?", KeA asked as she introduced herself.

"It sure is. Meister here is one of the top notch engineers who helped build Pater-Mater here. Renne is also of similar stature as to yourself, so you two may be able to get along.", The Professor answered KeA.

"I didn't think Ouroboros would reach such a low as to become a daycare, Professor.", Renne retorted, seeing KeA beside him. Yet hearing that, The Professor only laughed.

"Hohoho. Now that is where you are wrong this time, Renne my dear.", The Professor replied with a laugh. As he said that, Joerg remained quiet, before he slowly approached the Professor. As each moment passed a look of anger appeared in his eyes. Joerg even began to lift the Professor's robe, only to lift him into the air, which caused Renne to blink at him.

"What did you do this time, you bastard!? I don't feel any life coming from her!", Joerg retorted out in anger as he placed his fist on the Professor's body. The Professor revealed a playful grin after hearing that.

"Feeling no life? Why, Lady KeA is the epitome of life! A lowly being like you wouldn't begin to understand Lady KeA's mechanisms, Meister Joerg." The Professor retorted back, ignoring that he was being lifted right now. "You see...", The Professor began to explain...

Unbeknownst to me, a hidden current began to ride its waves as a certain violet haired girl happened to come across a green haired girl, who, at the time, I had no idea that she had already woken up...
