7 Chapter 7: Legion Zombie

If any regular citizen of the One-piece world was near Arthur to witness the scene he currently seeing, their fragile hearts might stop working because of terror of the monstrosity forming before them.

Hundreds of abominations that look like the recently deceased people, was rushing towards a giant mush of flesh in an enraged state to create one massive monster ready to devour anything on its path.

Agonizing roars of these creatures was echoing through the giant sea of fire that surrounds both the creatures and the man preparing to face them.

Before the boss of this dungeon, Legion zombie can completely form, Arthur starts casting his spells.

<Haste>

The moment Arthur cast his last spell, legion zombie swung his humongous right arm towards him. With a single swing, it ruptured the earth beneath both of them and nearly buried Arthur under the dirt.

Fortunately for Arthur, he gained a skill called < Danger Sense> when he was fighting against a bear that he currently wears its skin as his self made armor.

Before the giant hand could hit the ground Arthur rushed to his right as a reflex and start running towards the monsters back.

When he reached there Arthur gathered his strength and cut deep as he can at the back of the giant zombie's knee. The knee couldn't be cut down in a single strike so Arthur sent another powerful cut fast as he can to destroy it completely.

Although the zombie lost its ability to walk properly with the injury it gets at the very start of the fight, the beast ignores the lost limb and turn to its back, and once again swung its arm with fury to hit Arthur.

Moving away from the range of the zombie's attacks Arthur prepared a fireball and sent towards its face, after casting the spell, he once again rushed to the zombies back.

With the force of the blasting fireball and the imbalance comes from its now useless right leg, massive creature fall to the ground and create large cracks in the ground. Seeing his enemy in this defenseless state Arthur decided to chop off the left leg from the knee completely and destroy the monster's chances to walk and catch up to him.

Opening three large wounds of bosses left knee Arthur once again gather his strength and cut towards the beast kneecap. Arthur failed to completely cut the bone but in progress, he shattered it and turn the left leg useless too.

After completing his goal Arthur rushed out from the zombie's attack range. With the loss of its legs, the beast roared at Arthur with hate and start crawling towards him with its arms nearly moving as fast as when it had legs.

Looking at his enemy "Sorry for making you go through all this pain and humiliation but I'm not strong enough to face you head-on, so I can only go step by step. Crushing your legs and arms before destroying your head and killing you." said Arthur and dodge the attack coming from his left and use this opportunity to get behind of its left arm that grasping the ground for support.

Readying his sword he said "So you can save your grievances for the next time I show up to kill you once again." and chop its elbow up using his self-created skill < Power Strike >.

The beast once again roared with pain and start madly rolling on the ground and turned its head left and right to locate Arthur.

Unfortunately for it, Arthur moved out from its path and hide in the sea of fire surrounding them.

Letting the monster waste its stamina while rolling around and taking damage from the burning trees surrounding it, Arthur watched the beast from afar and cast multiple <Fire Bullet> spells to wait for the opportunity to cause the highest damage possible to the boss in a single strike.

After spending minutes and couldn't find its enemy, in a desperate attempt the beast threw itself to fire and started to rip out trees from their roots and throw them around to open a path for itself.

Waiting for the beast to slowly destroy itself, Arthur found the chance he was waiting for and start aiming. using his hands, Arthur gathered 8 fire bullets he prepared before and send them towards the beasts face.

Four flaming bullets hit the beast in each of its eyes and burst through its eyeballs. The beast grasps his face with its only functional limb and gave out an agonizing roar and falls back into the sea of flames.

Looking at the giant body, Arthur realized that it didn't turn into the ashes and disappear like the rest of the zombies and give out its loot. Smiling at the antics of his giant enemy Arthur uses the skill < Observe >

↪Assembly of zombies full resentment. When a large number of zombies feel threatened due to mass hunting, they merge into the Legion Zombie. It has no magical abilities but has immense strength and stamina. However, as a zombie, it's still very slow for its level.

Statue: Enraged, Wounded ]

Seeing its statue, Arthur realized that the beast was waiting for him to close up for a last chance to attack and kill him.

Showing a small smile on his face, Arthur ready his sword for the last time and said "You're smarter than what I expected, certainly way smarter than what zombies supposed to be but unfortunately for you, you still have to die regardless of how unique you are."

Feeling little adventures and knowing the flames around them will consume the beast at most in 5 seconds, Arthur rushed at the Legion Zombie for dealing the final blow himself.

The beast heard the sound of Arthur running at it, but it was too slow to catch him and missed its attack by a small margin. Before giving it another chance to attack Arthur stab his sword at its forehead and ended the beast.
