'Why is she still following me' I thought helplessly, turning my head to see Ruby trailing me.
She's been doing this for the last 5 minutes, so I'm trying to lose her... sadly she's keeping a keen eye on me.
I would try to run away, but she could easily catch up to me, so were here.
"Why are you following me?" I calmly ask her, picking up my pace.
"To make you return the milk you stole!" She said, trying to intimidate me. To bad I'm not facing her.
I sigh and take some money out my inventory. handing it to her. She looks at the money curiously, then back at me.
"Why are you giving me this?"
"So you can pay for me. I'm tired and crave sleep" I say to her, dashing into an alley and encasing myself into the void.
What I'm doing is basically stealth but slightly better. Encasing myself with my void magic, allows me to blend into shadows. I also figured out I could move between shadows, though only from small distances.
I can only see from the Pov of the shadow, meaning I'm currently facing the sky. it's a good skill to get into locked places, but horrible for recon.
"H-Hey! Stop!" I could hear Ruby yell out to me, just as I finish my monologue, hearing her footsteps come closer.
'Is this what they call Lucky pervert moments?' By sheer luck, Ruby was currently right above the shadow I was hiding in, giving me a unaware upskirt... Red and black combo... Neat.
The gentleman I was, I took my gaze away, waiting for her to leave. I'm sure she'll leave eventually, right?
(Timeskip)
Right I wasn't. 4 hours... 4 FUCKING HOURS. I'M LUCKY I HAD ENOUGH MANA, GOD FUCKING DAMNIT.
You know the creepiest part of that? She didn't blink.
Not. Even. Once.
She eventually left and I dipped the hell out there straight to the mansion. Clarent tried to get me to train, but a simple dead on look from my eyes made him reconsider.
And so, I had the best 20 hour sleep of my life.
Until I woke up.
"Kid, wake up... I hate to say it but you got a rather unpleasant visitor" Clarent spoke out to me, shaking me rather roughly.
I could only groan into my pillow, begrudgingly getting up. "Is there a reason you can't... I don't know... Kill the guy?" I ask with the most innocent voice a 16 year old guy can muster.
(I genuinely forgot if I said his age... 16 is his age. Neat)
My only response was a sad look. "Wish I could, but the guy's kinda important" he muttered something else I couldn't hear, before pushing me out of bed.
"Ugggggh. Look. I'm still tired. I had to hide from this girl for over 4 hours. If you could kindly let me go back to sleep that'd be gr-"
He shut the door before I could finish... Fine. I'll humor him. I mean. The guest can't be that bad, right?
(Another One)
"Good evening, Mr. Ashborn... A rather unique name, might I say"
I stare at the floor with a dead look in my eyes. 'I'd like to end my free trial of living.'
[Careful what you say... It just might happen]
"Yeah, it is I guess." I awkwardly say, not facing the man. The only way I can think out of this, is acting like I don't know the man, and bullshit. Actual bullshit.
"Well, let's get straight to the point. I believe you have magi-"
"No. it's not magic, it's my semblance. Having people think it's magic for years, got me a habit of saying it's not" I cut him off, using a bluff I made up.
But let's be honest, this is Ozpin. He probably already knows this is a lie. The best chance to get him to leave is to keep cutting him off.
"Mh. Well get on to that later... Do you happen to know who I am?"
"No, not at all." He seemed slightly surprised at that.
"Well, I am Professor Ozpin. Headmaster of Beacon Academy." I finally take my gaze away from the floor, staring into his eyes with a weird look.
"...Am I supposed to congratulate you or something? Is my mom finally trying to get me to go back to school... Oh, she's dead. Anyways. I couldn't care less about you owning the school. Kindly leave the house please."
The room went dead silent. Ozpin was shocked. Clarent was shocked. I however got up and went back to my room, ready to sleep my problems away.
As I passed by Clarent, i could see him smirking a little. I nodded my head and scurried to my room.

Ozpin regained his clarity and coughed into his hand. "I'll be taking my leave, Clarent." As he got up, he looked at Clarent. "Are you sure you don't want to come back. We could really use you-"
"Haaa, I said I'm done with that shit, Ozpin. I can finally get some peace and quiet... besides" His gruff voice slowly trailed into a dark tone. "I still haven't forgiven you for what you've done." He spat out those words and walked off, leaving Ozpin by himself.
He stood in silence before taking a sip from his mug. "Good." And also walked off.

After being able to sleep, I finally felt like being productive, and headed towards the library.
I think I should start learning other types of magic, seeing as I only have void. And maybe find another skill or two, seeing as how I've hit a bottleneck. It takes a long time to even level up one, so I think I have to experience more than just zombies to level up.

I mean, I could learn it if I use my points. But it's not worth it. I place the book back on the shelf, sighing.
There were barely any books about magic, except for necromancy, though it required a Title and other stuff.
[What it do?]
'Oh, your back?'
[Yeah, I had to do some stuff.... Lots of stuff~]
'Your a horny guide... I'd like a new one'
[You can't get rid of me... The author wouldn't like that!]
"You say that like I'm in a book."

Mh.... Chapter. I'd like to point out that Clarent is on neutral terms with Ozpin. The only reason he was upset was something that happened in the past that will be brought up later.
