Rebuild and Blizzard

Lyla looked at Amestia in disbelief. She felt defeated. ''Fine. If you want to be this way, go ahead. If that shadow hurts you, it's not my fault,'' Lyla turned her back on Amestia and left the palace with Aidenish.

Amestia instantly felt a wave of regret. Aylai came beside her and assured, ''You did the right thing, Amestia.''

Amestia sighed, ''I don't know... she was the one who took care of me after all...''

Emporim said, ''Uh... since my penguins needed to extinquish all the fires and it's unsafe to stay here for now, you should go to Icy Hotel. Just follow the pathes and the signs, it's not far.'' Amestia and Aylai nodded and exit the palace from the other gate.

Lyla let Aidenish rest in the cave and as she goes to find another cave to open a portal, she sobbed, ''Why did Amestia go with the shadows? They might hurt her!''

The moon shone brightly and Lyla went inside the cave. She went through the portal she opened that leads to her home.

She layed on her bed, closing her eyes to sleep. Just then, a ghostly image of Darkrit appeared, waking her up. ''Who are you?'' Lyla stood up on her bed.

Darkrit smirked, ''Darkrit, the dark wind. I've come to offer you a deal.'' Lyla nodded for him to continue. ''I'm inviting you to go to the middle Triland, so that we can form a squad to hunt shadows. Accept or leave it, when you deny I'll never bother you again.''

Lyla thought for a moment. She might be able to get rid of the shadow that was with Amestia so she could be safe and sound. However, it seemed like she was happy with the shadow, and Lyla hated making Amestia sad just by taking someone away from her life. She also believed that shadows were indeed evil. She shook her head to make her thoughts go away and answered, ''Alright, I'll come tomorrow morning.''

Darkrit grinned, ''Sure, I'll be expecting you.'' Lyla went back to sleep and Darkrit faded into thin air.

''Icy Hotel looks so incredible!'' Amestia said in amazement. The walls were made with thick ice and painted white. When they entered, they asked for a room. The receptionist registered them a room and gave a key.

''Second floor, room 8,'' she said. ''Alright, thank you!'' Aylai and Amestia smiled and went upstairs to their room. They unlocked the door of room 8 and 'wow'ed as the sight of nice furnitures greeted them.

They found some food in the fridge and decided to eat it for dinner. Then, they prepared to rest for the night.

However, Amestia couldn't sleep as she kept thinking about Lyla. ''What if she leaves me forever? Will I have nobody to be by my side now?''

The sun rose up to start a new day. Lyla woke up, ate her breakfast then headed out to the middle Triland.

When she arrived, there was a big building made of metal. She went through the entrance, and the doors slid open for her.

''You came!'' Darkrit went to greet Lyla. ''Yeah, of course...'' she sighed. There was a fire wind who sat on a box, playing with a small fireball. She looked up, gasping, ''You!''

Lyla looked at the fire wind, ''Why are you here, Frinlia?''

Darkrit became confused, ''You girls know each other?'' Frinlia shouted in frustration, ''She set up traps for me to fall into and it took 5 days to get out!''

Lyla frowned, ''You were the one who burned down my house first!''

Darkrit came between them and said, ''Girls, we are a squad to hunt shadows. Can this be a new starting?'' Both winds nodded and said in unison, ''Fine...''

Amestia and Aylai ate a breakfast buffet at the hotel and went to meet Emporim.

The palace was almost rebuilt. There were penguins outside the palace, carrying ice blocks to rebuild the palace.

They entered the palace, and found Emporim pacing left and right with deep thoughts infront of his throne. When they walked closer, he noticed them. ''Oh, hey! I have some news for the both of you!'' Emporim smiled.

''What is it?'' Aylai and Amestia asked. Emporim sat on his throne comfortably, ''When the palace is completely rebuilt, a group of foxes from a fox school will come over for a field trip! They will take care of Icyland while you'll go for a training camp to assist me in managing the camp.''

Both Amestia and Aylai was excited. They couldn't wait to meet the fox students.

Lyla and Frinlia were practising their magic powers, while Darkrit was inside a room where Lyla and Frinlia weren't allowed to enter.

He finalized a machine, grinning slyly, ''Soon...'' he thought. ''Very soon...''

Soon, there were clouds forming at the sky while the royal penguins, Aylai and Amestia were eating lunch at the lunch hall in the palace.

Amestia was the first to finish her meal. She informed Aylai that she will be going outside.

When Amestia went outside, she noticed the clouds. ''So cool...'' she thought, watching it combining each other to form bigger clouds.

Emporim and Aylai finished their lunch meal too and headed outside to find Amestia. ''Amestia, what are you doing?'' Aylai asked.

''Watching the clouds,'' Amestia replied. Emporim sighed, ''Those are not just clouds. It's a warning sign that a blizzard will occur.''

''What?'' Amestia was shocked. They quickly ran to their hotel room.

''Usually the ice wind would come to stop the blizzard, so we'll just wait...'' Aylai explained.

When Amestia looked out at the hotel room window, there were a lot of snowflakes falling from the sky and swept in a direction by the wind.

The ice wind appeared and slowly created a large crystal orb to absord the wind power the blizzard created.

The blizzard gradually stopped and the snow still fell to the ground. When the ice wind ensured that the blizzard had completely stopped, she flew away.

''That was cool...'', Amestia said. Aylai nodded in agreement.

''Now, we'll help the penguins in rebuilding the palace,'' Aylai suggested. ''Sure!'' Amestia smiled.

They exit the hotel and assisted the penguins to rebuild the palace.

''Now, the palace is rebuilt! Thanks for transporting the ice blocks from that workshop all the way to here. I know the ice blocks are really heavy, so I recommend you to rest in your hotel room,'' Emporim smiled.

''Sure, good night!'' Aylai and Amestia chorused and went to their hotel room to sleep for the night.

''The fox students are going to Iceland tomorrow, right?'' Amestia asked while she was on her bed.

''Yep,'' Aylai replied. ''Good night,'' she added.

The both of them closed their eyes as time passed to the morning.
