3 The Start Of A Foxes Journey

Today is the day when I, the great Valerie Einzheart will start her journey into greatness, soaring through the ranks of adventurers and dominating the higher ranks and if you don't believe me I shall show you my source of confidence

Overall sum of body's attributes: Rank A but experience is that of rank E due to not prepared for, and not, killing humanoids.

Abilities:

Tailed Beast Bomb — A powerful attack that can erase the place it is targeted at, it can also add in different elements to make the attack more powerful.

Mana Coat — Covers the user in mana to boost physical attacks and can use different elements to make the technique more powerful and can enhance other physical attributes.

Manipulation of elements and forms of energy i.e mana, chakra etc... — Able to control anything that you can sense as if it was the same as breathing.

Fighting Techniques — includes on how to fight up and personal to controlling the fight or how to wield different weapons effectively and how to fight in different styles such as a warrior to an assassin.

Magic Techniques — Able to form different spells of different power ranges from rank F to rank A. All magic is imagination based.

Sensory Techniques — able to pick up on the changes in the surrounding area and notice the slight differences from killing intent to feeling happiness from others.]

Sooo, what do ya think? Pretty good right? oh, and while we're on this topic, the adventurer guild has ranks based on your level starting from 0—10 as G—EX if you're confused.

"Vaaaall! We are leaving right now so hurry up or you won't become an adventurer!" Shouts my dad, hurrying me to leave. I quickly ran out of my room whilst putting on my jacket as I head downstairs, currently I am wearing black hunter boots with black thigh high stockings along with navy blue long shorts that reach above the knees and are tight but not restricting me, leaving them to stick to my legs like a koala to a tree and I have a white shirt that has a strong silk that makes it resistant to being ripped up or stain as well, the jacket that I put on is of the same material as my shirt except that it is fitted with strong metal linked together like chainmail while still retaining the look of a normal jacket.

I quickly reached the bottom of the stairs and rushed outside with dad chasing after me as I head inside the carriage that is waiting to take us to the guild in the next town over so that I can register as an adventurer and start my journey as I can't wait to improve myself further and do my dad proud by gaining big achievements when I do my quests

As I was thinking the horse drawn carriage shook a bit before it advanced to the town Fador where the adventurer branch is located.

It took us two days and one night before we reached Fador when the sun was about to set so we went to find an inn to rest at and plan to register tomorrow with dad returning to the mansion we live in. So after we find an inn and get checked in with the whole room staring at me making me uncomfortable seeing their stares especially the males as their stares are downright disgusting as they don't hide their feelings, but if you consider their jobs as adventurers, where they fight with their life on the line, then it might be normal but very unacceptable so I released my pressure at them specifically and frighten them off making me life as they hurry away like mice from a cat.

Whilst the commotion went on Darren, Valerie's dad, payed for their rooms and ordered some food for himself and his daughter, who he sees is currently scaring the crap out of grown adult men to nearly cryi...wait no one guy cried due to fear of dying I guess? Oh well not my matter.

(Valerie's Pov)

After the scare fest I had dinner with dad, which was chicken and some vegetables that was lathered in something that was like gravy that greatly enhanced the flavour of the chicken and veggies while also keeping it flavourful and balanced, we then went off to our rooms to sleep for the night but before I do I'll lay down some spells to make sure I don't get violated in my sleep.

Next Day

I woke up feeling refreshed but still a bit sleepy but soon woke up when I splashed some cold water on my face, I then wore clothes I wore yesterday but more battle oriented that left me dodge more freely as well as attack freely.

I then went downstairs and see my dad waiting for me, "are you excited for what's next Val?" asked my dad with a knowing smirk that can make you want to punch him but I decide to humour him by replying back, so he should be grateful that I am doing this "Yes of course I am dad! I have been waiting for this day since you told me about your adventures when you were younger!" my old man then just laughed out loud and smiled warmly at me while he had pride swelling up in his eyes as he gazed at me.

We then head out alone to the branch guild to register. And as we walked, I stopped as I saw what I could most certainly say was that I was astonished as I looked at the building that was made out of wood and stone, looking sturdy with a sign out with a sword and shield crossing each other with a large piece of parchment behind them.

With excitement filling me up I walked inside opening the doors to see the place a bit empty with some people at the bar or at tables either talking with each other, eating and drinking or just resting. There was a long desk that you could see first with pretty receptionists smiling at us when we walked through.

I walked forward, composing my self so I don't look like a child even though I am an adult in mind and body, courtesy of the many early deaths of people have made 15 the age to be recognised as an adult, quickly we arrived at one of the receptionists. "I would like to register as an adventurer miss." I said as the woman smiled and spoke, "Okay then, my name is Tiana and if you wouldn't mind could you inject some of your mana on this please so that your guild card can be made and licensed please" whilst bringing out what looks to be like a printer but holdable. I placed my hand on top of it and released a slither of my mana to which the mini printer glowed and whirred to life with a low screeching noise and stopped after a few seconds as two cards came out looking like dogtags with the holes in them, the woman the took the tags and asked for my name, age and race which I answered and left my race as a fox.

She then took the cards with her to possibly the back of the guild and came back after a while with the tags on a silver chain she then gave me a quick rundown on the functions of the tags and said that one card is for my identity that I show certain people like guards of a town or city and others branch receptionists and other people that need to see my identity as well as shows my current rank and that it can also count how many quests I have done so that it can allow me to rank up immediately when I get to a branch guild and the other card is to show what branch I registered and the kingdom I did it in with my nationality put on there as well.

Then she gave me a rundown on the ranks and what they signify and how it is also used to judge monsters and beasts on how powerful they are like goblins being rank E and hard for rank G and F to fight alone as even some rank Es struggle against them nevermind a whole pack of them. Tiana also explained that everyone who joins has to start at rank G and work their way up. " Well then looks like your ready to be an adventurer now aren't ya, then I should be heading out then, so goodbye for now Valerie" my dad said as he walked out of the guild.

Ah, if you're wondering, yes everyone is staring at me because people looked at me when I came in and just stared but i am starting to get used to it so it isn't bothering me as much as it did before. Tiana said that I can take a rank G quest or a rank F quest and the same would apply to when I become a rank F I could go on rank E quests.

Soon I was at the quest board and took a few rank F quests to immediately rank up, I then got them approved as they all either have no time limit or that the time limit was very long.

I then headed out but not before I was stopped by a big bald dude that totally looked as if he was a bandit leader and he also has lecherous intent towards me making me want to tor... hurt him badly but I go to move around him but somebody else came up, probably a lackey of the bandit guy, wait... dude that blocks me in the guild? Great! another cliché! Just want I always wanted...not. " Excuse me but can you let me through please as I got to do the quests that I have taken and don't want to be stopped by an idiot that wants to waste people's time." I said and start to move the other only to be blocked making me more frustrated at the guy.

"Now now little Missy I only want to offer my services to you so that a frail lady like yourself can do her quests properly and not get hurt." the guy said as he gave me a 'charming' smile that made me want to puke " yeah, yeah you should be grateful that boss offered his services to you as he is a D rank and can safely protect you!" the guys lackey squealed out making me feel back in disgust as he spoke. I then, having enough of this farce I forcefully made my through but I felt a big rough hand holding on to mine I looked at the bandit guy who held my hand and still giving me his ' charming' smile "come on little miss at least think of my offer" he said with a hint of murderous intent coming off of him.

I pulled my hand out of his grip "yeah, no, I don't know about others but I rather not be near you or that rat face over there and I can handle myself just fine on my own." After saying this I walk out of the guild and head to the locations of where I need to after a while I felt someone tailing me and focused on them soon realising who they were I smirked.
