Chapter 53

When we returned to the shelter, Officer Williams withdrew from there with the other soldiers, including Edward, but she did not want to leave before telling us all that in a couple of minutes they would let us go to the cafeteria to have the welcome snack. Well, it was still too early to serve us dinner, and I never imagined that in a place like this, they would do this type of activity to give us a snack, it was strange, or perhaps they just wanted to cover it with a know that there was this inconvenience that has scared us all and that they wanted to keep us calm so that we would not want to give up on the operation.

Everyone went to get comfortable in their respective beds, I lay down in mine because again I felt that damn dizziness that was already beginning to worry me, my stomach was turning as if I had a whirlpool inside, I stared at the roofed hopeful that Edward would show up at any moment to tell me what I was really feeling.
