A Fool's Change of Heart

DISCLAIMER: I don't own anything besides the name of the protagonist. Persona belongs to whoever created it. Also, the No One 17 and Under Admitted is because of the excessive swearing, dark themes and not for the possible (but unlikely) lemons. Shin Yuuta, who unknowingly had caused world devastation in another timeline, had been sent to the sea of souls to cleanse the influence a malevolent entity, composed from humanity's evil thoughts, had over him. Wielding the gifts he had received from his body's previous host and a certain mask-wearing being, it is up for our protagonist to make sure history doesn't repeat itself. P.S: The pic I used for cover isn't mine either.

Update notice

So I changed Shiho's persona from Pandora to Simurgh, still of the Hope Arcana. You can go back to chapter 15 to check it out.

It's immune to fire, weak to ice and curse.

Its 3 starting moves are Rakujaka (single-target defense-buffing spell), Dodge Wind (doubles the evasion against wind skills), and 30 Small Birds (single-target minuscule gun damage 1 to 30 times).

Its trait is Gaokerenian Takeoff, which has a low chance to heal or cure debuffs for all allies for every action taken in combat. This excludes simply moving about, guarding or using an item.

The simurgh is depicted in Iranian art as a winged creature in the shape of a bird, gigantic enough to carry off an elephant or a whale. It appears as a peacock with the head of a dog and the claws of a lion. Sometimes it has a human face. The simurgh is inherently benevolent and unambiguously female.

The phrase sī murğ (سی مرغ) means "thirty birds" in Persian, from which I took inspiration for that attack.

In one legend, the simurgh was said to live 1,700 years before plunging itself into flames. (hence the fire immunity)

The simurgh was considered to purify the land and waters and bestow fertility. (hence the curse weakness)

It has an enmity towards snakes, and its natural habitat is a place with plenty of water. (since it's unbothered by fire and subsequently hot temperatures, I though it was natural it'd be bothered by ice. Since it lives in places with water, ice there would be a pain.)

The simurgh roosted in Gaokerena, the Hōm (Avestan: Haoma) Tree of Life, which stands in the middle of the world sea. The plant is potent medicine and is called all-healing, and the seeds of all plants are deposited on it. When the simurgh took flight, the leaves of the tree of life shook, making all the seeds of every plant fall out. (thus came the trait.)

Sorry if I butchered any part of this bird's myth. If any of you know it better, feel free to correct me.

Of course, a pic of Simurgh that I found that I feel it fits my imagination is posted on my discord server.
