A Fool's Change of Heart

DISCLAIMER: I don't own anything besides the name of the protagonist. Persona belongs to whoever created it. Also, the No One 17 and Under Admitted is because of the excessive swearing, dark themes and not for the possible (but unlikely) lemons. Shin Yuuta, who unknowingly had caused world devastation in another timeline, had been sent to the sea of souls to cleanse the influence a malevolent entity, composed from humanity's evil thoughts, had over him. Wielding the gifts he had received from his body's previous host and a certain mask-wearing being, it is up for our protagonist to make sure history doesn't repeat itself. P.S: The pic I used for cover isn't mine either.

Shido's a royal cunt

Ryuji, Ann and Morgana were rushing to finish all the dishes. They thought it would be a shame if they let all that food go to waste.

"W-We did it..." said Morgana, who was overstuffed to the point where the bag was twice as wide.

"This is... a victory... for us all." muttered Ryuji, who was clutching his stomach.

All that food didn't seem to be too happy to be crammed into his belly, as he quickly said.

"T-This isn't good. I gotta get to the bathroom..."

"Me too... Please, carry me gently..." said Morgana.

Shin, who was okay as he didn't eat as much as them, could hear some adults talking nearby.

"...But, look at that table." said the voice of a woman.

"Come now." a man said.

The two were looking at the table where Shin and the others were sitting.

"Pay them no attention. I'm sure they must not normally have the chance to eat such exquisite food." continued the man.

"I can only imagine what their parents must be like." said the woman, condescendingly.

Ryuji looked offended at that, and wanted to say something back, but he quickly stopped his plans as he gripped his stomach again.

"Ah, I don't have time for that... C'mon, let's go..." he said, urging Shin with his hand.

The two boys and the cat headed towards the bathrooms, but those were closed for cleaning, unfortunately. Ryuji seemed to get a bit panicky, but Shin calmly reminded him of the other floors, which should all have bathrooms. They were standing in front of the elevators. Having pressed the button, they only had to wait.

Suddenly, the other people who had been standing in front of the elevator gave way for someone to pass. A tall bald man with a goatee, along with his entourage of men in black. They bumped past Shin and Ryuji and stood directly in front of the elevator.

"There's still no update on the case?" asked the bald man.

"N-Not yet... Excuse me, but why are you so interested? It's not something you should be concerned with..." replied one of the men in suits.

"I don't care about your opinion, you incompetent buffoon! When I say pick up the pace, you do it!" said the baldie with vigor in his voice.

'Oh, wow, he's such a dick. Great.' thought Shin, unamused.

Ryuji wanted to say something about how they were cutting the line, but Shin patted him on his shoulder and he dropped the issue.

"Why'd you stop me?" asked the blond, once the bald man was out of earshot.

"He looked like he was troublesome."

In truth, Shin was somewhat concerned about Shido's reaction. He very well could just have them both sued for some stupid reason. After all, he was on probation because of him.

"Well, that's not wrong, but... He just pisses me off, with that "I am better than everyone" look, you know? Reminded me of how Kamoshida looked down on everyone at school."

"I can definitely see the resemblance." commented Morgana.

"Come on. If we're late, I'm sure Ann'll chew us for it." said Shin.

And he was right. Both girls looked grumpy when they returned. Well, Ann did. Shiho was avoinding Shin like the plague. Ryuji was looking at the black-haired like he was some sort of prophet.

Morgana was the only one who was calm, as he was tucked away in the bag when they went down with the elevator.

"So, why are you so annoyed?" asked the boy.

"We had a run-in with some women a few seconds ago. One of them bumped into me, then said it was my fault when she dropped her plate..."

"And her friends just chastised us..." said Shiho.

"What a bitch." remarked Ryuji.

"The restaurant workers just looked at us with this disapproving expression... I wonder if we're out of place..." said the blonde girl.

"Oh, yeah, definitely." said Shin.

"..."

"Hey, Morgana." said Shin.

"Yeah?"

"Those shitheads we met before, and those women... What if we change their hearts too?"

"You mean... you wanna continue as the Phantom Thieves?"

"Yeah. I've been thinking... A lot of people are thankful to us because we dealt with Kamoshida. But there are others who may be suffering because of selfish bastards like him. What do you think?"

"I... I agree. If I just ignore people who are in trouble, I'd go back to being the same I was before..." said Ann.

"I want to give hope to those people. I know how hopelessness feels like... And I wouldn't want it for anyone else." said Shiho.

"Took the words right out of my mouth, man! Of course, I'm in!" said Ryuji.

"Nothing you can't accomplish under my tutelage." declared Morgana.

"Then it's settled!" said Shin.

"...By the way, are you okay with being our leader?" Ann directed this question to Shin.

"Of course."

"No objections here! I can't handle all that responsibility stuff." said Ryuji, shrugging his shoulders.

"If it's a recommendation from Lady Ann, how could I refuse?" said Morgana.

'Simp!'

Everyone turned to look at Shiho, who felt quite awkward that all the attention was now on her.

"I-I think you'd do good, leader." she said.

Shin picked up his glass and raised it in the air.

"For the Phantom Thieves!" he said.

"Cheers!"

They all clinked their glasses and sat back down.

"So, who's our next target?" asked Shiho.

"There are a lot of bad people out there, after all... But if we change the hearts of famous people, we might get on the news. That'd give courage to many others, don't you think?" said Shin.

"That's a good idea, Shin." said Morgana.

"Picking people just like that... It doesn't feel right, really." commented Ann.

"Let's pick those we all agree on then."

"Oh, I like this unanimous decision thing!" said Morgana.

Ann looked at her phone and said.

"Oh no! Our time at the buffet ran out..."

"Guess we'll have to talk more tomorrow, then."

This chapter's additional info is on... Izanagi-no-Okami!

Izanagi-no-Ookami, name "Ookami," meaning "Great Deity," symbolizes Izanagi's true identity as the deity born of the seven divine generations in Japanese mythology.

Hayato realizes that Izanami is the true mastermind behind the bizarre murder cases, and ventures into her reality within the Midnight Channel, Yomotsu Hirasaka, to put an end to her plans. Eventually facing Izanami, however, he and his comrades are engulfed by Izanami's Thousand Curses. Fortunately, Hayato hears the voices of his friends, telling him to continue fighting on.

Accumulating the powers and bonds he forged, he channels the powers of his Social Links to his initial Persona, Izanagi, transmogrifying Izanagi into his true form, Izanagi-no-Okami. Enduring all of Izanami's assaults, Hayato takes off his glasses, and ultimately summons Izanagi-no-Okami, ending Izanami with one powerful strike, Myriad Truths then free his comrades after the battle.

While Izanami's fabricated goddess form bears a resemblance towards Izanagi-no-Okami, having a white-ish color theme, her true form, Izanami-no-Okami takes the form of a rotting, death-ridden form, similar to the Japanese mythology.

Being the Persona with the largest fusion prerequisites to summon, it takes 12 Personas to be used in a Dodecagon Spread Fusion. The required Personas are as such: Izanagi, Sandman, Nata Taishi, Girimehkala, Norn, Okuninushi, Othrus, Kartikeya, Mithra, Tzitzimitl, Cu Chulainn, Legion.

The significance of the Personas used for this fusion can be fully seen in the Japanese version, where the first kana in their names spells the sentence "Izanagi-no-ookami-tsukure."
