After both teens returned to reality, Shin could unwind properly. He wasn't tired physically, but it was annoying to run around after Sho.

"Both of these redheads are so troublesome." he sighed.

Alibaba: Rude.

"..."

'I should break this silence somehow.' thought Shin.

"So why was the pharaoh version of you bullying you?"

'Ask her about her trauma. Great idea, Shin.' the boy felt like faceslapping himself.

Alibaba: I don't want to talk about that...

"Alright then, keep your secrets. But you're not hurt, are you?"

Alibaba: I'm fine.

"That's good, because I'm coming over." said Shin as he sat up.

Alibaba: Don't!

Alibaba: I'm not used to dealing with others.

"Then get ready, right there and right now. Go beyond your limits!" said Shin.

Alibaba: That's too little time!

"You'd have to do it sooner or later, and I'd argue sooner is better than later."

Alibaba: But, why?

"Tell me, are you satisfied with how you are right now? If you don't go out and have all sorts of experiences, you'll never get any taller."

Alibaba: I... don't see how that is related to getting taller.

"Bah, semantics."

Shin's strategy here is to rile Futaba up as much as he can so that she has the will to change herself.

Alibaba: Why do you want me to go out so badly?

"I just think it'd be a pity if I were to never see such an adorable girl again."

Alibaba: ...So you're a pervert.

"I won't disagree with that. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to abuse the hell out of a certain home gym." said Shin, cracking his fingers.

In an attempt to induce a Persona within Sho, the scientists had implanted a Plume of Dusk into him, which caused a second soul to be born within Sho, named "Minazuki." Shuji Ikutsuki took an interest in Minazuki, who developed a Persona independently of Sho, but found him to be a highly uncooperative subject. After Minazuki attempted to kill Ikutsuki for his abuse and manipulation of Sho, a second experiment was attempted to "erase" Minazuki while leaving his Persona behind. It ended in failure, however, and left Sho in a vegetative state.

Ikutsuki placed him in an Inaba hospital on life support afterwards to allow time for him to discover a means to revive Sho for further experimentation. Sho awakened several years after Ikutsuki's death, and interpreted Ikutsuki's actions as him simply having thrown him away when he was no longer useful.

Minazuki is composed, methodical, and callous, while also being protective of and entirely devoted to Sho. Both individuals are aware of each other, with Minazuki able to communicate with Sho inside of their head. Minazuki is also able to assume the front and control their body, generally reserved for times when Sho is in some sort of peril or unstable state of mind.

At least, he did that until he disappeared in the True ending of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

Here's some random trivia:

The protagonist is designed to be reminiscent of a cat with a hidden side while Yu Narukami from Persona 4 was designed to be reminiscent of a loyal and sincere dog.

In Persona 5 Strikers, Ryuji is the only character to officially drop the F bomb instead of saying his usual 'effin' or 'friggin'.

Early designs of Morgana were done with the image of a female in mind, giving him a smooth rubber body. He was also supposed be able to transform into anything, not just a van.

Ann is Soejima's favorite main character in the game. Respectable opinion, even if I personally disagree, since Yusuke is clearly superior.
