A Fool's Change of Heart

DISCLAIMER: I don't own anything besides the name of the protagonist. Persona belongs to whoever created it. Also, the No One 17 and Under Admitted is because of the excessive swearing, dark themes and not for the possible (but unlikely) lemons. Shin Yuuta, who unknowingly had caused world devastation in another timeline, had been sent to the sea of souls to cleanse the influence a malevolent entity, composed from humanity's evil thoughts, had over him. Wielding the gifts he had received from his body's previous host and a certain mask-wearing being, it is up for our protagonist to make sure history doesn't repeat itself. P.S: The pic I used for cover isn't mine either.

Hee-ho!

Thoroughly disappointed nobody thought to comment 'zeppelin' on last chapter's title.

"Haah!" exclaimed Shin, as he swung his metallic training sword downwards.

"I told you, you need to put more power in your strikes." commented Yoshitsune.

The Samurai Persona was currently overlooking Shin's training in the Velvet Room. He had made the teen to do different stances, as his technique was the area lacking the most.

"Wanna bet he'll take of his shirt next?" asked Clotho, the youngest of the Moirae sisters.

"Sweetie, I hope he takes it off." replied Succubus, as she held her hands together and focused on Shin's form.

"I doubt anyone would actually accept a bet with us anyways." commented Lachesis, the middle sister.

"You wouldn't have won, anyways." pointed out Atropos, the oldest of the sisters.

"Rain on my parade, will you." grumbled Clotho.

"And with that I lost interest." sighed Succubus, and with a flap of her wings, she rose off the railway she was perched on previously.

She turned to look at Incubus, who looked bored out of his mind before he saw her looking at him. Succubus clicked her tongue, and sat on the railway once more.

"Better than that, at least."

Incubus took offense to that.

"Excuse me? What did I do wrong?" he asked.

Jack-O'-Lantern came next to Incubus and used one of its floating hands to pat the demon reassuringly on his shoulder.

"Don't fe-hee-el too sad-ho!" said the Jack-O'-Lantern.

Incubus nodded his head appreciatively and the two stood in silence for a few seconds.

"Thanks for that." he said.

"Of co-ho-ourse."

At that moment, Angel chose to fly up right next to the two friends, and asked.

"Trouble in paradise?"

"You could say that." curtly replied Incubus. "But enough about me. I actually wanted to ask you something."

"Go on." urged the winged being.

"Why is it that you wear even less clothing than Succubus? I mean, you're supposed to be a holy being of some sort. I can't decide between being horny and disgusted."

Angel shrugged.

"How should I know?"

Suddenly, Nekomata jumps out of the clouds below and lands on the railing, near the group of 3.

"I think it's because they're supposed to be a test of faith. I'd much rather take that than assume god is a pervert."

"Ah, the return of the why boner." mirthfully added Incubus.

"Can you all shut up for 5 minutes?!" shouted Yoshitsune, quite vexed to have his teachings disrupted by small talk.

"We'll try to be more quiet next time." apologised Atropos, who managed to placate most of the samurai's rightful anger.

This chapter's additional info is on... Clotho!

Clotho is the youngest of the three Moirae Sisters, and is derived from the Greek personification of fate. Clotho was responsible for spinning the thread of human life. She also made major decisions, such as when a person was born, thus in effect controlling people's lives. This power enabled her not only to choose who was born, but also to decide when gods or mortals were to be saved or put to death.

Clotho and her sisterswere the daughters of Erebus and Nyx, though later they are said to have been born of Zeus and Themis. Clotho is also mentioned in the tenth book of the Republic of Plato as the daughter of Necessity. Her Roman equivalent is Nona.

As one of the three fates her impact on Greek mythology was significant. Clotho, along with her sisters and Hermes, was given credit for creating the alphabet for their people, forced the goddess Aphrodite into making love with other beings, weakened the monster Typhon with poison fruit, persuaded Zeus to kill Asclepius with lightning, and even aided the gods in their war with the Giants by killing Agrius and Thoas with bronze clubs. Even though Clotho and her sisters were worshiped as goddesses, their representation of fate is more central to their role in mythology.

Clotho also possess her life-giving powers in the myth of Tantalus, as shown when she brought Pelops, Tantalus' son, back to life, with the exception of his eaten shoulder, which was replaced by a chunk of ivory.
