Shin entered the Velvet Room, which made Igor greet him, as per usual.

"How may I help you today, Trickster?" the long-nosed man said, his eyes looking as veiny and pinpointed as ever to Shin.

However, observing the weird man wasn't the purpose of his visit this day.

"Hey, Igor. Why am I in a prison cell?" asked Shin.

"I believe that I have said this before, but this is how your heart feels. Oppressed by society and shunned by others. I sincerely believe I will see this change by the end of your journey."

"You have to be fucking kidding me. Am I supposed to actually care about what the hell the general public thinks? I'd laugh while watching them burn if that wouldn't sadden some of the people I care about." said Shin with a chuckle, lightly grabbing the bars of the cell door.

"Hey, Inmate..." started Caroline, but she was quickly interrupted by Igor.

"Then why are you doing what you are doing? What is your reason to fight?" he asked, placing his head on top of his hands.

"'Rehabilitation.'" said Shin, making air quotes with his hand.

"This rehabilitation is necessary, Trickster." stated Igor, his brows furrowing.

"Oh really? Because I don't recall ever doing anything that needed rehab. In fact, it's you lot who simply butted into my life for no reason at all." spat out Shin.

"Had we not intervened, you couldn't have dealt with your first target." replied Igor.

"Oh I disagree. I would've gotten pretty far just by twisting people's arms. After all, it's working wonders for you."

"It was a contract with us you entered willingly. The app-"

"That you put on my phone without my consent and the one I tried to delete multiple times, but refused to disappear?" asked Shin. "Because if you ask me, that doesn't sound like a contract."

"Trickster..." started Igor.

"What, are you getting mad? That I saw through your bullshit? That I'm understandingly annoyed and angry at your machinations? Well, sucks to be you right now, doesn't it?"

At that point, Shin let go of the cell door's bars.

"And as a soon-to-be-broken-being would've said, 'It wouldn't be a good game if it didn't have any twists, would it?' So get off that chair, get the Velvet Room out of whatever hellish pit you threw it into and get out of my sight before I ask my good friend Hayato, who used Izanami's body as a weapon sheathe before snapping her out of existence, to get your inexperienced ass out of here. For crying out loud, you didn't even get the voice right!"

And before Igor had a chance to say anything, Shin continued with.

"Was I not clear, Yaldaboi? Or did you screw up Igor's ears too?"

For a moment, Igor looked at Shin incredulously, before breaking into laughter and slowly standing up, until Igor's thin body floated above the desk.

"So you've-"

"No, no. I don't want to hear your excuse of a monologue. I can probably guess all that already, so just leave and be a cup or something. I don't care." interrupted Shin.

Yaldabaoth looked at the black-haired teenager, annoyed. He simply chose to click his tongue disdainfully and leave.

And with the overzealous cup gone, the Velvet Room started shining and morphing...
