A Flugel's Gacha

I felt my body shudder as I woke up, the cool forest air brushing against my skin and spine as my eyes slowly opened.

I looked around, feeling confused as I found myself in an unfamiliar place… A forest, with a lush green landscape, and a lake nearby that looked so calming and serene.

There was just one problem with this landscape.

"… This isn't my bedroom."

And there was the source of my confusion.

I slowly crossed my legs, frowning as I closed my eyes and began to ponder, speaking aloud so as to help organise my thoughts.

"Right… Okay… What happened yesterday? I woke up. Did my daily logins on my games. Played Solo Leveling: Arise… Then I played some other games, read some stories, and watched some YouTube videos and re-watched some short anime… And then I went to bed and…"

I sighed and rubbed the back of my head with a frown.

"It's weird, I don't remember anything else at all…"

Suddenly, a noise invaded my ears… No, not my ears, it was like the voice was coming directly from my brain!

[It's boring watching you try to figure things out, Senpai~! So, it's time for everyone's favourite time!]

I felt my eyes widen as my back straightened because, while I didn't recognise the voice, the tone itself and the way they said the name 'Senpai' was unmistakable to me.

[That's right! BB Channel~!]

"Oh god no…"

I watched as a familiar woman appeared in my view… Wearing thigh boots with heels, black shorts, black gloves, a loose white belt, and a purple bikini with silver-purple hair and violet eye. Her figure was curvaceous with tanned skin, and a large bust. The teasing smirk on her face was unmistakable… It was…!

[That's right, Senpai!] The woman's voice resounded in my mind as she smirked at me. [It's your beloved BB-chan, here to bestow upon you your every wish!]

"… BBhotep," I uttered as I stared in dumb shock at the unmistakable A.I that had fused with both the Hawaiian Goddess Pele, and the Outer God Nyarlathotep.

[Good, you already know who I am, Senpai~! I'm sure I don't have to explain why you're here then, right?]

"… You brought me here." It was the only logical explanation… But how? And why?

She smirked and tapped the side of her nose. [Don't worry about the details, Senpai! Just know that BB-chan chose you from all the other Senpais in the multiverse to enjoy a fun game!]

I stared at her for a moment and just sighed slowly and lay back. "Just explain things to me please."

She paused and pouted. [Hmph, I was all ready to mess with you more, but I suppose Senpai doesn't want to waste time. Fine, fine, your cute Kouhai will speed this along! Put simply, I decided to take your soul and brought you to this world and gave you a System because I wanted something fun to do~!]

I sat up slowly and stared at her. "And what does this system entail?"

She grinned slowly as I felt dread fill me. [It's a Gacha System~]

"… No…"

[Yes~]

"No, no, no…"

[Yes, yes, yes~]

"No, no, no, no, NO!"

[Yes, yes, yes, yes, forever yes~]

I stared at her and then fell back on the ground. "… Just explain it to me please… And can you please stop talking directly into my mind, it feels weird."

She chuckled evilly and rubbed her hands together. "If that's what you want, Senpai~" She winked at me, and I felt another shudder run through me. "The Gacha has two parts to the system. The first, obviously, is the Gacha part of the System. There are two types of Gacha- the World Gacha and the Multiverse Gacha."

"Go on…"

She hummed. "The World Gacha is based on the world you are in. So, for example, let's say for example you are in the Naruto Universe. Every affinity, some special Jutsu, bloodlines, and special items are hooked up to the system and spun, and you'll obtain something randomly. The Multiverse System, however, functions differently."

"Differently how?" I asked her.

"Instead of everything being split meticulously, it is instead all generalised. So, for example, the abilities of Bleach are distilled down to four- Shinigami, Hollow, Fullbringer, Quincy. Naruto's are broken down to the different major bloodlines. They are broken down this way so that you have to train in order to make sure you aren't simply overpowered, you must earn your power."

I sighed… A shame, I would have loved to have just been overpowered and saved myself any danger, but I guess beggars couldn't be choosers…

"Right, so what world am I in then?" I asked her.

"Fairy Tail~" she said with a pleased smile.

I paused… That… Wasn't so bad, actually. Yes, there were MANY dangers, but in comparison to other worlds… Fairy Tail at least didn't have any planet destroyers.

"Alright, and the second part of the System?"

"That is the Mastery System," she explained. "Essentially, your abilities will be listed down in a format you can read and show you your spells and how far along your 'mastery' of them has reached. There are ten 'Ranks' for your abilities to be. Innate – Initiate – Amateur – Intermediate – Expert – Apprentice – Master – Grandmaster – Demigod – Supreme. And no, I won't give you a sense of just how 'strong' each power level is, but I'm sure you can guess just based on the names, right?"

I clicked my tongue as she predicted my question before I nodded, there was no need to ask any further there.

"Good!" She smiled. "Now then, to start with you will get two 'World' Rolls, and one 'Multiverse' Roll. After that, you'll only get World Rolls for achieving significant feats, or once every six months. Multiverse Rolls will require something special if you want more of those, but I won't be telling you what to do, Senpai~"

I took a breath and nodded. "Alright then… Hit me with the two world rolls first."

She grinned and nodded, snapping her fingers as two massive wheels appeared on either side of her. "Here we go! BB Spin~!"

I watched as she spun both wheels with a surprising amount of strength, making them both rotate so fast that if they had been in the real world then I would have definitely felt a strong breeze filling the air.

I watched as both wheels began to rapidly slow down after a few moments. Slower… Slower… Until-

[You have obtained Star Dragon Slayer Magic.]

I blinked as purple text boxes appeared in front of my eyes, the text standing out to me.

"… Time Magic and… Star Dragon Slayer?" I asked in dumb shock before I held my head as I felt information filling my mind… Information I knew didn't exist before. But suddenly, I knew the basics about both magic, how to use them…

"Hm… You really are lucky, Senpai," she told me. "BB-chan didn't influence those at all. You really are lucky to have received two powerful magics… Oh, right. To open the mastery menu, just think about it."

I quickly did just that, looking at the screen that appeared in front of me.

I shook my head in disbelief at what I saw and lifted my hands.

I focused for only a moment, and my hands were covered in ethereal blue light. Even knowing my current situation, I couldn't help but feel excitement bubbling in my chest, feeling a bit giddy.

I was a Dragon Slayer.

I was snapped out of it as I heard BB clap her hands, looking at her. "Yes, yes, Senpai, you can play with your magic later. For now, we still have one more roll for you to do."

I nodded slowly. "Right… Er, quick question first, how do the powers from the Multiverse work? Like, if I roll say a Naruto based bloodline, do I get chakra or…?"

"You have an Omniversal energy in your body," BB explained. "It acts as whatever energy it is required to work as and is picked up as whatever energy is needed. So, if scanned here, it is Ethernano. If scanned in Nasuverse, it is magic circuits or a mana core. If scanned in Bleach, it is Reishi, and so on."

"Well, that's reassuring," I took a breath. "Okay, do it."

She grinned as a huge wheel appeared behind her, bigger than the previous two wheels combined. A big red button appeared in front of her, and she dramatically raised her hand. "BB Super Spin!"

She slammed her hand down, causing the wheel to spin with crazy intensity, to the point I saw BB's hair ruffling as she laughed merrily and jiggled around, causing other things to jiggle rather pleasingly…

"You can enjoy me if you're a good boy later, Senpai~"

I gulped as I made eye contact with BB… She looked at me with smouldering eyes, and I felt a shudder run through me as I subconsciously crossed my legs.

She just smirked smugly as if she had won something, before the wheel began to slow down once again… And finally…

[You have obtained the Flugel Bloodline (No Game No Life).]

I barely had time to read that before I felt a shudder run through my spine as information filled my mind once again. I felt my back get itchy, uncomfortable, to the point I had to remove my jacket and shirt before I gasped as I felt something come out of my back.

I looked back, staring at the glimmering white wings now present on my back with a slight blue tint to them.

"Oh my~" I heard BB purr out, but I ran right past her to the lake, and stared at my own reflection…

Staring back at me was someone that was only vaguely familiar to me… Brown hair and brown eyes, pale skin and a handsome figure you might expect from a teen male model.

Instinctively, I knew the one I was looking at was myself, but subconsciously I rejected it because I had never been so handsome in life. I had let myself go from a rather early age, having started beefing up around the time I was 17…

"Is this… Me?" I asked in disbelief, unable to believe the handsome face looking back at me.

After a moment, I also noticed some extra details. Such as the fact that my pupils were in the shape of a four pointed star, or the blue halo just to the left above my head, shaped like a wheel of flames.

I quickly opened my panel and noticed an immediate change.

Before, I had been listed as a human. But now, I was listed as a Flugel. Furthermore, I was now 'Ageless.'

I quickly looked down to see if my Flugel Bloodline was listed on my panel… And, to my surprise, it was.

The Sixth most powerful Race from the world of Disboard. They are God-Killers created by the Old Deus, Artosh. Now, their blood flows through your veins.

"I get all these benefits… And I'm only innate level of my Bloodline…?" I murmured in shock, feeling a shudder run through my spine.

I had never really considered just how terrifying the existence of Flugel in No Game No Life because it was a world where fighting wasn't permitted thanks to Tet, and I had never gotten around to watching the movie…

But if all Flugel had skills like these at the mere Innate stage of mastery…

A wicked smile came onto the face of the strongest Flugel, the Angel of Imperfection, as she stared down at the battlefield with a twisted gleam in her golden eyes as her halo spun and grew, magic circles forming behind her…

… Then I was terrified to see just how strong I would become at the strongest stages.

"Are you done, Senpai?" BB asked, prompting me to look back at her. Her hips were cocked, one hand on them as she smirked. "I'll say, I didn't expect you to get the Flugel Bloodline to change you like this, I only returned you to being seventeen. But you look so much better like this~"

"… Insulting. True, but still insulting…" I murmured, shaking my head as I snapped out of my thoughts. "How long before the start of the series am I?" I asked her.

"Six months," she said simply.

I sighed and rubbed the back of my head. "Right, right, got it…" I nodded tiredly. "Any other surprises?"

She just grinned as she floated off the ground. "Oh, my dear Senpai, I've prepared all sorts of pleasant surprises just for you~"

I couldn't help but groan, face palming. "Right… Thanks BB… Which way to Magnolia?"

She just pointed in the direction of the opposite side of the lake I was on.

I turned my gaze from her to across the lake and sighed. "Right… Let's see if I can get these wings in working action then…"
