Chapter 8

"And then what happened?" The older man was curious.

I smiled at him, "We separated".

"Huh, why?"

I take a deep breath, before continuing.

Her family had to move out of town, and she changed school. We tried keeping in touch, but she got busy with schools and exams.

Before I realized it, she became a stranger, I became a nobody again.

"But that doesn't explain your death…"

"It was suicide…"

After graduating, I decided to pursue a career in art, it went well for the first couple of years. I even found a lovely woman I married.

But then an accident happened, leaving my hands crippled.

My wife couldn't bear living with me, as my cost for living started to get more expensive and demanding. She left… I don't blame her.

"If you could write a letter to your classmate…, what would you have said?"
