Chimeras and Proposals

Chapter 6: Chimeras and Proposals

- An abortion?

Hearing these words, the old man stood up, still a little wobbly, and advanced against Simon.

- Who are you calling a squib, you little good-for-nothing?

- Hmm. Without a doubt, an abortion. Muggles wouldn't react like that, and I very much doubt you're a wizard, so...

- You little wretch, nobody calls me that. Come here, you...

Simon stopped paying attention to the old man after watching him for a while and returned to transmuting some tools. After that, he turned to the people who were trapped, and after looking at them, he fixed his gaze on a woman.

She must have been at most 30 years old, but her constant drug use made her look older. She had dirty black hair and cut and cracked lips; her white skin was full of spots, and she smelled very bad. Simon didn't care much, and he walked over.

- What do you want?

- A woman so beautiful now has no value to others.

- What do you know?

- It doesn't matter, I'll make you worth something again.

- What? AAAA...

Simon electrocuted the woman with a baton and then dragged her out of the cell to a table, where he restrained her. Recovering a little, she tried to move but found herself pinned to a steel table.

- Please let me go.

- Xiii, it's okay. Everything is fine. You're going to feel better soon, okay?

Simon spoke, took some samples of the woman's blood, and began to study it. Meanwhile, everyone looked at Simon with apprehension and fear while trying to find a way out of the cages. Only the old man, who was called Squib by Simon, decided to wait and see what the brat would do.

Simon looked up from the samples and looked at the woman and the other addicts who were in a similar situation.

- Hmm. Drugs and other things heavily contaminate the blood. I don't know whether they will be useful. Let's test it first.

Simon left the room, leaving the bound woman struggling on the table, before returning with a black rat.

- What will you do? Hey, what are you going to do?

Simon grew tired of the woman's ramblings and gagged her after giving her one more shock. Then he placed the mouse next to her and put on a pair of gloves with a different transmutation circle on them.

Simon was still trying to create a universal rune circle, but honestly, this was almost impossible to achieve. At least for now, he would have to be content with changing gloves or drawing new circles every time he used a specific alchemy.

- This will be painful, believe me, but it's all for a good cause, and it will only be for a moment.

- AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Simon began to transmute the woman along with the rat, trying to merge them both into a chimera. He had theoretical knowledge about this because Ed and Al had read the documents of bio-alchemist Shou Tucker (THE BIGGEST SON OF A BITCH IN ANIMES, DON'T TRY TO CHANGE MY THOUGHTS).

The woman tied to the table began to show terrible changes, her skin began to literally bubble and create black pustules before melting and regenerating, this time with black hair over pink skin. Her bones also made horrible sounds as if they were being crunched before they began to lengthen and retract in some parts. Her face also started to change into that of a rat's snout. And her teeth fell out and gave way to deformed fangs of different sizes.

- In the end, whatever was in front of Simon was neither human nor animal. It was just something no one would want to see.

- What the fuck is this?

- LET ME OUT.

 God, please forgive me.

- I promise to stay clean. Please let me go.

- Get away from me, stay away.

The other trapped people started to scream and try to get out of the cages in desperation, but only the old man remained silent, watching everything with shock in his eyes.

He was indeed a squib, as Simon imagined, but more than that, he was a squib who had a great deal of knowledge about the wizarding world. Squibs are the children of wizards who, because they are unable to use magic, are excluded in every possible way from the wizarding world, both by those who call themselves pure-bloods and by half-breeds and mudbloods. They are looked down upon even by so-called blood traitors.

The old man, Stephanos, was the son of a couple of 3rd-generation wizards and had 2 older brothers and 1 younger sister. He was the only one who was diagnosed with a squib.

His family, although they despised him, did not abandon him. They provided him with a home and adequate education until he was able to leave home at the age of 20. He never knew if they did this because, deep down, they still had him as a son or if they just wanted to avoid being frowned upon by other wizards.

Stephanos was almost 60 years old, he had seen and learned much more than most people could imagine.

The fall of the great Grindelwald, the rise and fall of Lord Voldemort—although he didn't witness all of these moments, he was aware of them all.

Although he was despised by the wizarding community and lived in the Muggle world, he somehow managed to gather all kinds of information and some knowledge.

He was also a man with a good income and good stability, he married a beautiful woman, and together they had a daughter who, at 6 years old, miraculously awakened his magic. He was so proud, and for a brief moment, he thought that with this, the family he despised so much could give him some comfort. How wrong was he?

His daughter ended up being taken away from him by her parents, and he was never allowed to see her again. He even went to the ministry, trying to reverse this situation, but no one paid the slightest attention to an squib. That was almost 20 years ago, and since then, alcohol has been all he has left. His wife also left due to immense sadness due to the loss of their daughter, and he ended up losing everything because of magic.

He really started to hate wizards from that day on, and seeing Simon call him Squib made him even angrier, but he controlled himself a little as he thought he was just a curious child, but now he was shaking with fear as he knew that the one in front of him was something other than a wizard. Because the energy he used was completely different from what he was used to and had witnessed throughout his life and, as far as he knew, magic could not be used in such a way,

Seeing the creature that appeared on the table, he fell silent and waited. The surrounding screams bothered him, but he remained silent.

Simon didn't notice or care what his guinea pigs were doing or saying behind him. Instead, he looked at the creature in front of him as it thrashed and roared before taking out a needle, taking another blood sample, and beginning to analyze it. After a few moments, he took out a notebook and began to make notes.

- Hm, complete transformation, animal DNA is predominant. Predominant animal consciousness, probabilities of reversal, zero. Final verdict, elimination.

Simon placed his hand on the creature's chest, which was still thrashing, before transmuting its organs into a hoopoe. The creature vomited blood, and after a few seconds, it became immobile. Simon waited a bit, and after confirming that the creature was dead, he threw the corpse into a vat and transmuted it into a mess of blood and waste before throwing in some caustic solder and mixing it all up before pouring it all down a pipe that led to the sewers.

He looked at his guinea pigs and turned to leave for a little while. Although he did all this, it would be a lie to say that he didn't feel deeply shocked by himself. On the first floor of the building, Simon vomited all of his breakfast, and after taking a good gulp of fresh air, he made his decision and returned to the basement.

Looking at the people, they all remained silent, shaking with fear, as he approached a Caribbean man and began to speak.

- Do you use drugs?

- What?

- Do you use drugs?

- No

- Anything?

- No

- Will serve.

Simon electrocuted the boy for a few seconds before starting to drag his body to the testing table. Simon was a little boy of just 6 years old, and even though he used alchemy to strengthen some of his body, it was difficult to carry a weight of more than 50 kg.

- What a heavy guy. What does it weigh, 100kg?

Simon complained as he strapped the young drug dealer to the table, but before he had a chance to take a blood sample, a voice reached him.

- You are not a wizard.

- Hmm?

Looking at the old man who was behind him, Simon remained silent before returning to extract the young man's blood.

- Wizards... can't do what you did. Also, the energy you used was completely different.

Simon stopped again and walked up to the old man before facing him.

- What do you want, old man? I'm busy right now, and although I want to study you, it's not time yet, so just stay silent and wait for me to finish, okay?

- I have a proposition for you, but only on one condition

- I don't think you're in a position to demand anything. And what would you have that might be of interest to me.

- Knowledge
