Another week has passed since Jura and Gildarts' visit. Ever since then, they would always come to my place to dine. I haven't put up a menu yet since I'm still experimenting on what type of foods are gonna sell like hotcakes, but I do know that ale and beer is gonna be in demand.

Over the week, the spies from all around the WoD saw Jura and Gildarts visiting the tavern, as they steeled their resolve to go in and were not disappointed. They found out that it is just your normal tavern that serves foods and drink. Their only problem was the keeper is wearing some weird outfit but they shook ot off as they thought that it matches with the atmosphere of the hall.

They tasted food new to their eyes and it was fantastic, coupled it with the ale or beer, they thought that they saw afterlife for a second there.

They swore to not tell their superiors about it so that they could continue to monitor the place and eat good food in the tavern.

Though they swore that they wouldn't tell anyone about it, their superiors were suspicious about it. Its just a tavern, how could they take 3 days and still not have information about it? Through constant grilling, some spilled the beans and their superiors thought that they were insane so they followed them and check the place out for themselves.

When they did, they cannot help themselves from telling their leaders, trying to curry favor, making my tavern popular especially from the higher-ups of the army from Fiore and Alvares. There are a few fights here and there but I made an example out of them and beat them black and blue which made those hot-tempered persons cool down.

I posted some hall rules such as No fighting in and out of the tavern, No shouting, Don't disturb the other customers, and the likes. I also posted a big signage saying that my tavern is a neutral place and caters to all kinds of customer as long as they don't make trouble. I will ban them if they do make trouble which scared the hell out of them because they won't be able to eat or drink in my tavern anymore if they got banned so they did their best not to act rashly.

Though I'm happy that it made my profits soar as I raised the price initially from 10,000 jewels to 50,000 jewels per serving of food and 5,000 jewels per serving of ale and beer, the workload is increasing as well. The kids thought of helping me but I can still handle it so I told them that I will tell them if I needed help.

With the money I've gained that was converted into points, I've already managed to heal my magic circuit back up to 40% and would have to upgrade the system to level 2 to repair it for another 30%.

I could now perform a maximum of six-fold with thunderclap and flash. My Cooking magic also now deals a pretty good damage. I have also mastered using a katana so I moved on to using a standard sword.

What surprised me when I healed back to 40%, was the initial magic that my predecessor possess. It was Space and Gravity magic, which would explain how he could hunt Dark Mages and get away with it. I could be like Pain with the universal pull and almighty push. Though, I'm not going to say 'ittamiyo' every time. I could also warp to a short distance with my space magic and form a small space to hold any non-living items.

Also I'm 5,000 points short from upgrading the system to level two as I managed to earn 5,000 net points from my customers this past week after subtracting the cost of healing my magic circuits. Although the grind is slow, it was only a matter of time before I upgraded the system.

Currently, I'm teaching the chipmunks some simple math. I have closed the tavern today for the weekend so that I could spend time with my family. Irene have also made her weekends her rest day.

"I have 6 apples in my two hands, your mother took one from me, how many do I have left?" I asked them, though I motioned Pitou not to help them, she's simply a genius.

"Uhhh... four?" Kagura said while scratching her cheeks.

"Nope, how about you, Erza?" I asked

"Hmm..." Erza put on a thinking expression.

"Still six! Mother said she don't want apples today so mother returned it to you!" She said with a proud expression as Kagura was finally enlightened and nodded enthusiastically while Irene is trying her best not to laugh at her adorable daughters.

I smiled wryly at my daughters. Kagura is easily influenced by Erza while Erza... I don't know if she's witty or just overthinking it.

"Nope. Its 5. Your mother don't want to eat it yet so she didn't return it to me." I said as Erza looks like an inflatable balloon that lost its air.

Irene finally couldn't hold it in anymore as she laughed which I found charming. Erza puffed up her cheeks as she hears her mother laughing at them.

"Don't worry about it, Erza. You will learn over time. As for you Kagura, you will study counting later, okay? For now let's take a break. Go play with your sisters, we'll study later." I said as I sat down beside Irene as I held her hand and looked at the chipmunks.

"Kids, really grow fast aren't they?" I said

"Mmhm" Irene nodded.

"Someday they are gonna walk their own path. We will be their support in whatever they do, guide them when they're lost, and embrace them when they fail. Whatever path they chose to walk on, all we could do is watch them on their journey." I said while Irene tightened her hold over my hand.

"Their journey hasn't even started yet. Better mold them early on to be a good person." I continued.

"Though, I would be glad if you would accompany me as we watch our daughters grow." I said as Irene smiled and embraced me by the waist.

I rubbed her back as I contemplated telling her my future plans which involves travelling to other worlds. I don't know how she will react towards it. Noticing me thinking deeply, Irene asked me.

"What are you thinking so hard, my love?"

"What are you going to do if we could travel to other worlds, my love?" I asked Irene.

"Well, we could bring the kids on an adventure or maybe treat it as relaxation place for us, we could do whatever we wanted." She said with a smile.

I asked her because my system told me that when I leveled up the system, I could travel to other worlds to find different ingredients that are compatible with my gourmet cells.

Also in the future, I could upgrade my door that it connects to other worlds as well and I am kind of looking forward to having different kinds of interesting customers or troublemakers.
