A call to answer .

The birds are singing and the winds are blowing and the sun is high up in the sky there is no better time to wake up than now . I open my eyes and I see the wooden ceiling and sunlight from the window next to me .

Sakura :"*Yawn*Hmph".

I stretch out my arms and get out of bed I walk to the mirror and take a good look at myself .

Sakura :"Seriously you'd think I'm a woman".

Pale white skin , golden eyes that sparkle , golden short hair that covers my ears , my build being so feminine and a delicate voice and face .

Sakura :"I always check if I have my tree down there and thankfully I still do".

I get dressed for the morning and head down stairs to the kitchen . I get a plate and take some bread and there folks is the commoners breakfast .

Sakura :"Geez do I have to go to work again".

I sigh deeply and ruffle my hair since I live alone with no family or friends I have to make ends meet....somehow . as I think about my chores a knock on the door could be heard . I set the planet down on the table and walk to the door to open it .

Mailman :"Hello there".

A man on the other side he wore the typical mailman outfit blue in color and a satchel on him with mail .

Sakura :"Hi there".

He opens the bag and hands me a letter saying .

Mailman :"This here is a magic enhanced mail once you sign it ,it will disappear to the academy".

Sakura :"Is that so , then keep up the good work".

He hands me my letter as he walks away to the other nearby houses . I close the door and sit down on the table and read the contents which basically say "Join the military or the academy for 4 years" and I definitely sign to join the academy it's the safer option and who knows maybe I'm some powerful magician or something . As I write in the paper as soon as I finish my paper disappears and words are imprinted on my wooden table saying "tomorrow come to the academy a bus will be waiting for you on 7AM".

Sakura :"Wow they don't even give you the time to prepare".

Since it's the beginning of the day I have a lot of time to prep for the journey . I sigh and take my bread and head upstairs and prep for the journey as I'll be heading to the "academy" which is basically a warzone since the nobels are ruthless and the commoners like me have nothing to do there and it's a place where people can shine the best under the right circumstances . And the military service is mandatory since the empress these days has been really aggressive in the wars with the surrounding countries but no wonder with her being newly appointed to the throne she has to clean the slate of all the nobels which aren't on her side , and it is said that she usually goes to the academy where the most adept and brilliant knights shine to take them under her wing .

Sakura :"But that's not my problem right now since I'll have to go to the academy".

While there are multiple academies they specialize in specific jobs while the one I'm going to everyone has to go to atleast for 4 years to find their calling . Well let's hope my 4 years would be good and all I grab the bread and munch on it while going upstairs and get a luggage bag to put my most important stuff which is.....underwear and....that's all . Yep since I'll be heading to the academy they already provide you with the most basic of clothing and food for the commoners while the nobels are set for life . I look into the mirror and a date is set on the 15th january which is today and that was supposed to be my birthday but I have no one to celebrate it with .

Sakura :"Ha alone again this year too".

I've been....well excluded due to my looks and how much I shine next to the others since then I've never really had anyone to call a friend but I've never made that hold me back and now I have a chance to get a good job and live a good life .

I prep for clothes for travel and sit on the bed to get a good early rest since I'll be leaving early in the morning .
