Outside the cave
There are various reasons why Damian picked the vampiric bats amongst many other cheaper and stronger monsters.
Besides the cave being the perfect habitat for bats, the main reason he picked them were their skills.
There was a cheaper bat type monster which costs 15 points each, but they lack the skills called 'F Rank Blood Suck', 'F Rank Regeneration' and 'F Rank Vitality+'.
The difference was pretty great considering the meager 10-point difference, but as he looked at the Catalogue, he discovered an interesting detail.

The vampire bat costs 50 points each on the Catalogue, but on the 'Summon Monsters' price list, it was written as 25 points, the cheaper black bat, on the other hand, costs 25 points on the Catalogue and 15 points on the 'Summon Monsters'.
Meanwhile, he could also summon goblins for the price of 30 points. Looking at the points and comparing them to the kitten's 70 000, if using it as a base for their strength then we could say that the kitten is stronger than the goblin more than a thousand times double its cost. Though the kitten excelled more in survivability and maneuver rather than firepower and endurance. So, he still doesn't know if it can solo more than 2000 goblins on its own at the same time.
There are other monsters too like slimes, orcs, and ogres. Humanoid monsters too like a succubus, vampires, and various types of beast-men. They could range from 10 - 5000 points.
But still, Damian picked the vampiric bats, he thought a mob of it could pretty much solo each of the current monsters listed, and they worked really well with the cave, in disguising it as a normal bat cave.
Without further hesitation, Damian then summoned 100 Vampiric bats at the same time which will now return us to the current situation...

Seeing the words in front of him, it seems like he just found another feature of the system. Now Damian knows why there is no such thing like boss monsters in the summon list. It seems that he needs to unlock them, seeing that he just unlocked another type of vampiric bat.

Damian was shocked about the details; the guardian bat was alright but what really shocked him was the price of the other item.
The summoning circle costs a total of 5 000 points, and if he tallies the total points worth of the gifts then it would be a grand 5 500. It was more than double the amount of the points he spent.
But considering the original price of the vampiric bat, then he would have spent a total of 5 000 points worth, though it was still lesser than the worth of the gifts.
Damian claimed the two items on the Gifts window and summoned the Vampiric Guardian Bat in front of him.
If the earlier vampiric bats' size could be described that it was as big as a man's fist, then the current vampiric guardian bat in front of him is 5 times their size.

After inspecting the Bat, Damian then decides to plant the summoning circle on the 1st underground floor. Afterward, Damian used 'Manage' to transfer the stone table and his things. Considering that they were disguising it as a normal cave as much as possible.
It seems Flan already took the other chair and her table into the 2nd underground floor.
Damian then ordered the kitten to scout outside as he proceeds to go down on the hidden stairs leading underground while holding the crystal ball since it seems that he cannot move it via 'Manage'.
Walking down the stairs in darkness, what's occupying Damian's current thought right now is what to eat for dinner...

The 1st underground floor atmosphere is totally different from the floor before.
Magical Moss covered some areas on the floor and the walls giving bluish light in the surroundings, they look so beautiful that they somewhat gave the cave a fantasy-like feeling. A stone table is in the center of the room, and now would be the time which you would look for something like a sleeping princess that is found in fairy tales. But instead of sleeping beauty, what's on the table is a water tank… Further in front, Damian is currently seated on a chair while eating.
While eating dinner which costs 20 points, Damian was using the winged-eyeball to look outside the cave.
The highest altitude that he could summon the winged-eyeball is 100 meters and it was enough to gather some information.
The entrance of the cave is currently on the base of a cliff as high as 300 meters, looking further upward, it was a part of a mountain. A slope on the right and left side of the cliff far away could be seen that they could use if they wanted to go upward. In front of the cave, what he could see was a huge forest, he could also see a river about 300 meters away.
As Damian was looking at the surroundings in interest, the kitten suddenly alerted him.
It seems that it found one goblin not too far in their territory.
