Chapter 2

"so how about sending Alex to totsuki" said Senzaemon "just look how those two mingle together, these two started playing around since they met"

"yeah who knows maybe one day they will get married" responded Shinomiya with a smirk

1 week later, the end of summer vacation...

"sweaty come down me and your father have to tell you something" said Lisandra with motherly smile

"coming" Alex shouted

'sound of rustling'

Alex ran down the stairs and took a seat in front of his parents" so what's the matter" he said

"you're going to attend Totsuki, one of the 4 prestigious culinary school" said Shinomiya "are you up to the task"

Alex remained silent but with passion burning in his eyes

His parents looked at each other with a funny smile "well you're going to have to depart right now if you don't want to be late on the first day"said Lisandra with a teasing smile

Alex immediately went up stairs and took what he can and shouted"see you later mom and stinky dad"

8:30 am

Alex was searching for the entrance exams having found the building, he entered but didn't expect that Erina was the judge

"yo Erina"saluted Alex "what are you doing here Alex well never mind I think I already know"responded Erina " so for this test you have to make an egg based plate and it has to be good enough for my standard''

"you got it"said Alex as he walked into the kitchen, taking a few minutes to think about what to make...got it he said internally

he takes out his beautiful damaskan knife with his name engraved on the top of it with a classic red wood handle.

he grabbed some rice. Along with that, he grabbed some eggs, scallions, soy sauce and a secret ingredient. Egg fried rice was the perfect dish in mind

he grabbed out a wok, placing it on the largest burner. As it heated up, he cracked open three eggs into a small bowl and used a fork to whisk them together. Making fried rice was something that was quick and simple, and Alex was a master of it.

he sprayed some vegetable oil into the wok, before dumping the beaten eggs in. The intense heat of the wok cooked the eggs in almost no time, and once they were scrambled to the point of not being liquid, Alex added the rice.

When he started off, it took him a few tries to realize that fried rice should never be made with warm rice. cold cooked rice was the only way to go, since it didn't turn to mush during cooking. As Alex tossed together the eggs and rice

Once everything was nice and hot, Alex added some soy sauce and only a few seconds after, he added his secret ingredient: monosodium glutamate, also known as MSG. It added an immense amount of flavor to the fried rice.

In less than a few minutes, it had all been whipped up

Alex chopped up a few scallions at a rapid speed. he topped the fried rice with the scallions, mixed it all together and it was done.

Alex served it to Erina who was drooling from the aroma and the appetizing dish.

Taking a spoon she put on a little rice ,eggs and the chopped up scallion. When Erina opened her mouth and inserted a mouthful of her egg fried rice in her mouth, she could only say one thing.

"Eh?" Erina thought as she entered gooey egg, she was sitting on the yolk and saw a very beautiful sunset until she could not say a word.

Then after a while, she regained consciousness and returned to the real world with a surprised face and wide eyes.

shocking everybody that were close by "as expected" said Erina"you pass, and by the way we are going to live in the same dorm"

"ehhhh" everyone shouted

a few hours later

You could see a crazy Alex running around in the campus shouting "why is this place so bigggg"

until finally giving up and calling Erina "uhmm where is our dorm" he said while feeling embarrassed"

" pffth hahaha you can't find the way" laughed Erina "the dorm is near the park on the south side "

"okay" he responded
