Night on the Town

Jazza nodded,"Hell yeah!" she hit the top of the van and snickered. Oh Jesseye couldn't stop smiling. The ginger's dream felt so close.

"We can even go and put some of it on eBay. Jewels and shit go for a big bank, man." He explained to a hipped Jesseye with a nod. "Once it's all turned to cash, we can go bout splitting the doe." He said with a sigh. She nodded vigorously, practically forcing a smile onto his lips, "I'd say that was a successful first gig team. Drinks on me!" He said with a laugh, throwing his fist in the air.

Jesseye looked back at him and grinned wildly,"Yeah! Night on the town!"

Her black friend nodded but couldn't stop laughing,"We gotta get all of this back first," she said as the voice of reason.

"C'monnn," Jesseye moaned in protest, "Hit the town! Hit the town!" she chanted while patting her thighs. This was huge! They just needed to get good enough to hit some high dollar places and she'd be able to buy her building, the stoves, pots, pans -- everything!

Shane shook his head, thereby joining the voice of reason. "No, Jazza's right." Upon those words, Jesseye rolled her bottom lip out to pout. He laughed at her face and shoved her ballcap down into her face.

"HEY!" she screeched.

"We need to drop this off first." He said a bit more seriously.

She whined since she knew they were right,"Aawwe, ffiinnneee," she broke into giggles as she was simply on the moon.

"We need to put it somewhere safe, and change." He said with a nod before completely abandoning her by climbing up Jazza in the front seat. "Good job, team."

Jazza grinned at them both,"Y'know what Shane? I think we're gonna be good friends," she said sincerely.

He fist bumped her and grinned, "Yeah, me too."

Shortly after they arrived, she found a good hiding place to stash it in her apartment, "I'll keep track of it all until it's ready to split," she announced with a smile, which included getting it all sold too. They separated to change then met back up at the table that Jazzy normally used to weld parts of cars. Shane sighed. Least he had, since they were playing it smart, a few more weeks before collection day.

"Ya'll ready?!" Jesseye asked excitedly as she skipped in with her new set of cloths. Jazz was already sitting with Shane, wearing virtually the same clothes as beforehand, some dark jeans, a leather jacket, and her favorite combat boots. She was just so happy to be back in her usual denim jacket, cute comfy T, some brown boots, light jeans and blue ball cap.

Her girl friend was keen to notice that she had had borrowed some of her mascara. "You are excited, Jess. Stole my mascara and lip balm," she shook her head while clicking her tongue then laughed as Jesseye shoved her.

"Can't help it!" she tried to defend herself. "Haven't been out in yyeearrrss," she groaned her exaggeration as she leaned into her ex-cellmate.

Shane laughed, smiled, then cleared his throat and looked away. He wiped his hands on his jeans and stood up. Jesseye laughed loudly as she nearly fell off the bench,"Ok, well." Lord, was why was his face warm? "What are we waiting for?" He asked with a bit rudely.

Jesseye inhaled deeply only to hollar, "Let's parrrttyy!!" and throw her fist up in the air. He smiled at her then ran off towards his van. "Hey wait up!" She jogged after him while Jazzy followed at a walk, shaking her head at what she already saw was all too obvious.

"We taking the van or one of your cars?" He asked curiously. In the gang, if it was more than two or three, they always took a van. It was easier that way.

Jazzy shrugged. Honestly she didn't care what vehicle they took, but she didn't want the van to be caught on any cameras so soon after their robbery. "Let's take my old vet." She calmly mandated, already walking in the direction of her beloved. With a warm smile, she carefully uncovered a recently restored, beautiful red corvette.

Shane whistled as he saw the car. "Damn girl."

Jesseye gasped then jumped over the door into the back seat,"Awe yes!" She planted her face against the black, fo-leather seats and felt its wonderful smoothness. Last time she'd seen this car, the seat had been all cracked and molded. "This is so nice, Jazz!"

He chuckled and hopped in the passenger seat.

Jazzebella chuckled lowly,"Thanks," she pet the wheel affectionately then looked back at him with bright brown eyes,"Scarlet's my favorite," she admitted with a shrug, giving the engine a nice crank.

"Alright you two." He said, leaning on the back of his seat to look at Jess. "Do we want to have a party? Or is one of us willing to sacrifice so the others can get wasted?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

Jazzy furrowed her eyebrows in annoyance at the thought of anyone drunk in her beautiful baby, "No," she said with a stern shake her head,"I ain't cleaning out throw up." She said resolutely, holding onto the head of Shane's seat in order to back well.

"Orr," he chuckled lightly at the purring of Jazza's elegant old gal, "Do we wanna just go have a few drinks and hang?" He offered the last option, seeing how well the first two were received. "I'm leaning towards the last one." He fibbed with a shrug before growing defensive. He hadn't even given them much reason *not* to believe him! "What?" Jesseye raised an eyebrow then burst into laughter, "Stop. I can chill if I want ok?"

She pat his shoulder, shaking her head, "I'm just joking, I'm joking. Let's get some drinks and pizza!" She suggested excitedly.

Her black friend nodded at the idea before glancing to Shane,"I'm down if you are, chill guy," she said with a light smirk.

He groaned dramatically, "First you hate on me for being short, now this? Thank guys." He crossed his arms in order to sell the pouting. He rolled down the window while Jazzy cruised down the country road to main.

Jazzy parallel parked her beaut right in front of a place she swore by and they all filed out. Shane looked up at the rundown looking building. "Hole in the wall, huh? Alright then." He said with a laugh, opening the door for both girls.

She nodded, her air all too confident, "You'll see." she said, grinning already, "It's the best deep dish pizza in town."

He nodded, let the door fall closed, and followed the girl to a large booth, "Oh yeah, we've been here, right?!" Jesseye asked excitedly.

"So, miss expert." Clearly they'd been here before. "What's good at the hole in the wall?" He pat the table and looked around a bit, rubbing the back of his neck before his eyes landed on Jess who was smiling wide at the smell of fresh pizza. It was much nicer on inside: cozy, comfortable, littered with automotive symbols and parts. He could see why Jazz liked it, but Jesseye seemed rather excited too.

"Oh, we've got it all." Jazza nodded, but she seemed to be looking for someone; hoping, "Cheese, pepperoni, jalapeño, name the topping, they've got it." The dark colored woman listed without much thought.

He smiled at Jesseye and offered his fist. They bumped together then she reeled back, making a few silly explosion sound that made him smile. She always seemed to be in wonder of everything around her. He wished he could see the world as positively as her. Her grin only grew as she looked at the menu,"Awe yeah! Man, Shane, these guys have the best pizza."

He smiled at his own laminated piece of paper. The pizza was what he'd expect, but the appetizers were kinda strange. Octopus legs?? Glancing up at her, he shook his head before looking back down. "Sounds great." He said with unintentional softness.

"And beer," Jazzy threw in before a waiter walked up. Her face lit up upon recognizing her old friend,"Awe Tony! How've ya been?!" In a second she was up with her arms open to him. It had only been a few weeks, getting Jess and Shane settled and all, but she had really missed this particular hunk of handsome dark chocolate.

Tony laughed and hugged his friend tightly. He was atleast a foot taller than her, probably most people, but she didn't care. It only gave her the opportunity to breath a large whiff of his greasy colone before letting him go. "I've been good." He said with a nod.

"That's great. How are the cousins?" she was almost reluctant to sit back down, "You been adding to the decorations? The place looks so nice," Jazzebella grinned as she glanced around a moment before her dark eyes landed on him again."So do you," She laughed lightly at herself and shook her head.

Tony shrugged at her questions, "Keeping the place going." he said with a modest nod, keeping his professionalism to a peak. "Jesseye." He greeted, smiling as she took his hand and used it to pull him into a hug. He then glanced to Shane and cocked his head. What was the crown prince of Ironclad doing here, with *his* girl? "Don't believe I've met you. I'm Tony." The tall, lanky man decided to hold his questions till later and offer his hand to the other.

Tony's strong grip surprised Shane as they shook, "Shane." He introduced himself with a nod before glancing to the girls, "New to the friend group, I suppose."

Their negro waiter nodded, lifting up his writing pad. "I got you." He turned back to Jazzy and smiled. "Your usual?" He asked her with a small grin.

"You know it," she answered, the undertones of her voice so flirty.

He nodded, ignored her hungry stare, and asked for their drink order. "I'll take a cherry!" Jesseye chimed as she nearly bounced in her seat across from Shane.

"Your craft any good?" Shane noticed that nearly all the beers, but Bud Lite were local.

Tones nodded,"Yeah, ask the girls."

"Dark ales are the best," Jazza said though she ordered a raspberry twist.

Shane looked at Jazzy with an eyebrow raised once Tony walked off towards the kitchen, "So, he your boyfriend?" He asked with a smug grin.
