Fang Mei asked with a smile, Sora was her only friend, so once she heard he could cultivate she wanted to rush over as soon as possible to see him. but she had to take care of a few things first, she would be leaving to enter a sect soon, but now she had time and wanted to see Sora.

"oh... you just missed him. I guess he thought you and the others already left, so he just left." Sora's father said softly, making Fang Mei's smile disappear,

What it meant was simple, each cultivation art has its unique energy, Qi cultivation had QI, body cultivation art physical energy, and soul cultivation at Spurtal energy.

if all of these could come together, they could make a person countless times stronger. but before that came energy control, the art of controlling one energy to the point that you lose no energy, and could lash out with greater power, will less energy than others.

just energy control alone could make one countless time stronger than those of the same level. adding energy control with energy merging, which would make one more than dozens of times stronger than those of the same level,

'it's pretty much Chakra control from the Naruto world, but taken to a greater degree of complexity. I guess I shouldn't go to the city for some time, I should try and draw out my physical energy and learn to control, as well as my spiritual energy. The thing about skipping levels was that it didn't work with every cultivation system in the same way as it could work for other systems. In the Body cultivation system, your cultivation is measured on the strength your body has. but if you can perfectly control your physical energy, you could lash out with more than others, allowing you to skip levels

on the other hand, Qi Cultivation was different, every energy was different, some energy was impure some were dense than others, and so on. Qi cultivation was measured by the state your energy was within, not the power of your energy, so one could skip a lot of cultivation levels or even be weaker than the level they were within,

Soul Cultivation followed the same principle as QI cultivation, as its cultivation was measured off the state of the soul, not the strength of the soul.

Absorbing energy was something all things could do. the energy was within the air, it was like air but they were mixed making the air richer. once energy comes into contact with something, it's absorbed into the said thing.

this could be a rock, dirt, and or even humans, once enough Qi is absorbed, it would go through a transformation, making the said thing better than before.

the first stage of Qi refinement was to absorb heaven and earth energy and use it to slowly build a Qi sea within one donation, this is where one Qi would be stored. the higher one body cultivation is when doing this, the easier it would be to create the QI sea,

Sora being at level 5 Body tempering, it was easier for him to build the Qi Sea, taking him only a few hours before the QI Sea was formed and built. once Built, this meant that one had stepped into level 1 Qi refinement, and Qi could gather within the Qi Sea but in the form of air.
