Shattering Dao Hearts

time passed, and Sora's children began having their names heard far and wide all over the universe. similar to Sora, they didn't need much time for them to reach great heights, In just a matter of 10 years all of them were realm rulers, with some of them even meeting each other, and many of them had gone through many changes.

It took slightly longer, but soon Sora started the calamity. but this time the calamity was different, the heavens were pretty much wanting to rest. 99% of all cultivators would need to die, The heavens didn't fuse like before, but even so, this didn't stop those demonic cultivators from seeking out realm rulers to slaughter

this forced Sora's children to fight back and flee when the odds were against them, even so, they got stronger, and lived through the calamity with Brodack going as far as standing out within the calamity, challenging all types of experts to get stronger. this Brodack had faced many defeats and near-death moments, he was not the same arrogant king who thought he could do anything thanks to his talent. He now understood that talent wasn't everything.

once the lifeforms dropped, the calamity went back to normal, and everyone felt how heaven and earth energy improved, far better than before. if one thinks of the universe as a farmer, then all cultivators were the universe plants it has been farming, once cultivators grow and die, the energy they absorbed and refined returns to the universe stronger than before, allowing the universe to grow stronger.

the universe set up a whole system for its growth, it was a complex system as the cultivators had to take what was there and make it better before it shall return to the heavens. but everything in the universe was birth by the universe, so it was hard to under how to increase such things. so Sora had been trying to comprehend this in his free time

Sora had set up rivals for everyone, but Brodack had it the worst as the son of heaven who reincarnated had a strange cultivation art that increased his luck. hell, even all of his treasures were brought with him in his reincarnations. So, thanks to the son of heaven Brodack suffered.

Brodack happened to join the same sect as the son of Heaven, where Brodack fell in love with a woman who tricked him into giving up everything. Brodack was a kid at the end of the day, and he had a pure heart so he could easily be tricked by such things. in the end, it turned out this woman was with the son of heaven, and the son of heaven was only curious as Brodack reminded him of Sora.

this crushed Brodack, but the son of heaven went on to crush him under his feet, forcing Brodack to pick between death or becoming his slave. luckily for Brodack, he had a good master who took him into the sect and stepped in to help. but at the cost of making an enemy out of the sect leader, forcing the two to flee. but Brodack died from his injuries, which led Brodack for the first time to cry.

swallowed by rage he transformed into Super Saiyan and went to seek revenge, he almost destroyed the whole sect, but he ran out of energy, leading him to nearly be killed once he turned back to base form. he was forced to use a treasure to escape, sending him far away where he recovered and went back for round two, where he was forced to flee once more as the son of heaven and the others were far stronger thanks to the pressure he had given them.

Brodack almost lost himself in his rage, if not for the dreams he had of Sora, which helped cool his head and understand just how his talent meant nothing without the hard work, then it was all pointless. So, he changed his mindset, becoming a level-minded, and open-minded guy.

time passed and soon Sora's wives got annoyed at the fact their children were gone for so long. So, Sora had it so that they could return, but with their talents lucked, they would be unable to use any resources here. in fact, they would be unable to make any form of growth here unless through comprehension of the laws, like sudden gains of enlightments.

So, he teleported them here once all of them were at least 18 years old. To say the least, they were caught off guard by suddenly popping up out of nowhere, and even more shocked to find that their parents were breathing, Only a few of them had memories of when they were born,

anyways, they went on to spend time with their mother who explained how Sora the big bad wolf sent them away for training. Of course, a party was held for them, allowing them to eat the best food the universe had to offer, which they all enjoyed all but Tatsumaki who had lost all interest in eating. although the food smelled good, she refused to eat no matter how much her stomach told her to eat.

Sora looked at her for a moment before having her follow him to a room, something which annoyed Tatsumaki, since when did someone ever dare to order her around? So, Sora simply teleported her into a room, where Tatsumaki found herself in what seemed to be a training room.

"Tell me, why are you so prideful?" Sora asked calmly, to which Tatsumaki frowned not understanding the reason behind that question, or why he thought she would answer.

"I'm confused as to how anyone could be prideful when a snap is all thats ended to make you do this," Sora said calmly while snapping his finger, causing Tatsumaki to suddenly start jumping around like a monkey.

Tatsumaki's eyes widened, not believing what Sora just had done, her body shook for a moment as her Dao's heart cracked. she coughed up a mouthful of blood. yet she jumped around like a monkey with Sora's cold and indifferent eyes looking at her, She glared a Sora, but before she could speak Sora caught her off

"You run around saying foolish stuff like you are the pinnacle of all existences. I will admit, you are the only one to reach your heights out of all my children without the use of my bloodline. but you are amongst the weakest because of this, never bother to heal your cultivation as you don't need them, and never bother to seek outside resources because you don't need them. I sent you down there to humble you, not to make you have some blind arrogance towards things light years away from you ever seeing. So tell me, what is the peak of all existence? What makes you so arrogant?" Sora asked while having her knee before him, causing her Dao heart to crack even more as she coughed up even more blood.

"Y-you can only do this to be because you are stronger than me," She said through gritted teeth, she struggled to look up at Sora, only for Sora to force her head down, causing it to slam hard into the ground.

"You're right. and because I'm stronger, I can kill you. because I am stronger, I can embarrass you, and I can be more prideful than you. so, I'm curious, Was it a little ant that I can crush running around as if she is the most powerful being in all of existence? you act like you are the most important, but if I killed you where you stood, other than your mother who would be affected? What importance do you hold to anything?" Sora's voice was filled with his law, slamming her heart into her dao heart, making her unable to ignore these words and had to truly face them.

She coughed up more blood, her face turning paler and paler by the moment. her body shook before she threw up more blood, leaving her extremely weak.

"Have you ever been happy? Have you ever even lived? let's look to your past, everything you did, Has any of it ever made you happy? instead of seeking a reason to live, you run around like a monkey. you run around as if you something. yet, if killed you where you stood, you want to tell me that your life was worth anything? You are all alone, with no friends, and you have no concept of sadness, joy, or anything. your pride blocks you from seeing the world, and you can only see it through pity? yet thats how I see you." Sora said calmly, her body shook once more but this time she didn't throw up blood, she began crying.

Sora allowed her to move while giving her body some strength, but all she did was fall to the side and hug her feet while she cried. Sora had attacked and shattered Dao's heart, her view of the world just shattered,

"Why are you crying?" Sora asked calmly as he sat down, back pressed against the wall. her body shook at those words, she looked hatefully at Sora. this is the first time she ever hated anything or anyone.

"Why do you hate me, just what did I do?" She said softly, first they abandoned her, then they brought her back just to destroy everything.

"Those questions I asked you are questions you should have asked yourself, and questions you should have self-reflected on. you avoided those questions, leading your Dao heart to not be as strong as it should have been. just because you are among the strongest of my children now doesn't mean it would stay like that. if you run away from these cruel questions, you're pretty much putting a ceiling on how high you can go. with your pride, once you see how everyone is doing, what would you have done? you would birth heart devils that shall slowly drive you into the demonic path," Sora said calmly, stunning her

"Having pride isn't bad, but too much of it is bad. what you had wasn't even pride, it was arrogance. How do you call yourself the peak of all existence if you have no idea what that peak is? We are all frogs at the bottom of an endless well. it's okay to accept that and have it be what pushes you to leave that well." Sora asked, making Tatsumaki slowly stop crying.

"I don't hate you, I destroyed that Dao Heart of yours as it wasn't worthy of my daughter. so build a new Dao heart, a stronger one without any limits. thats a Dao heart worthy of you, and nothing less. The fact is shattered so easily with me holding back, shows like little you question yourself." Sora said while walking over to her,

"I have no idea if this is considered being a good parent or not, and honestly I don't care. If you hate me, then use that hatred to become better than me. so long as you are not blinding yourself, and are truly living your life, I could care less." Sora said while removing the blood from her face, leaving her stunned as she blankly looked at Sora

"I want to build a new Dao heart." She said softly, to which Sora nodded before leaving, leaving Tatsumaki sitting there while looking at the blood she threw up. Sora's words filled her mind, before gritted her teeth

She took a deep breath before she began going over her past actions for the past 18 years, and she tried to question them all to the best of her capability. So, she began the creation of a new Dao Heart, something which took countless years but her body didn't notice due to her thinking speed being so much faster within the training room, while her concept of time remained the same.

Sora had another such training room, where he went on to destroy the Dao hearts of all his children. To make sure their Dao's heart was strong, he left a voice in their head that pushed them to ask the truly harder questions, questions which they would avoid.

to Sora's shock, the first person out of all his children to leave the chamber was Jiraiya. Sora looked at the pretty boy lazily cleaning up the blood that was on his clothing, before looking at him with a smirk.

"Should I have cut off your 3rd leg?" Sora asked causing Jiraiya to jump slightly while covering his little brother. Sora shook his head slightly, This perverted son of his was perverted but he might be the most talented of his sons if only he put in the work and stopped enjoying himself

well, more of his children soon came out. but Tatsumaki came out last even though she was the first person to enter a room. but this was because she went through the most changes, As expected her Dao's heart was recreated, she now had a new law, the same Law Sora had all of Sora's children had the same law. it was what suited them the most.

Once they looked deeply enough, they saw that this law was what suited them the best. but they showed Sora law in unique ways, which brought a smile to Sora's face. anyways, Sora still sent them away, but with this new gain power, it didn't take long for them to reach the immortal realm, where they faced the power with the dragon ball, and fought amongst each other for them. of course not life and death matches,
