An Over Grown Lizard

"is everyone ready?" Sora asked lazily while giving the flying Nimbus a few pills which were of the air and water type. everyone was currently gathered, ready to head to the second strongest region, the eastern region. everyone nodded while jumping onto the flying nimbus, but Fang Mei sat in the back, no longer by Sora's side.

"why are you not going to tell them?" Nu Chad asked in a voice while looking at Giga Chad, they had heard a competition to find the most capable people were being held, and the winner would be able to enter a holy ground filled with all types of cultivation resources

"it was a trap." Giga Chad said calmly, not bothering to open his eyes. Nu Chad's eyes widened slightly, but she nodded and looked towards Fang Mei who seemed to be in a bad mood. using her spiritual sense, her voice was transferred into Fang Mei, and the two began to secretly talk,

meanwhile, Sora had the flying Nimbus fly towards the northern region, this time he didn't speed up the flying Nimbus using his energy, instead, he tried to take the time to comprehend the law of destruction,

Sora also had a bad feeling about heading to the eastern region, so him going slow so that they don't catch too much attention. Because of this, it took them 10 days before they arrived at a sect.

the sect was called the Azure Dragon sect, the strongest force within the eastern region. this was the eastern region, which had a power level reaching the hundreds of 700 trillion, which was the Asura dragon emperor

"Azure Dragon Emperor, come and accept my challenge." Sora shot from the sky and sat down on the barrier around the sect, and looked down at the sect below.

"... Sora," a voice came from within the sect, followed by a huge dragon shooting into the sky, before turning to shot towards Sora. The dragon came to a stop a mile away from Sora, revealing an Azure-haired man, who had beautiful Azure eyes.

"I didn't expect you to come here... I'm guessing I know what brought you here." The Azure Dragon Emepeor said with narrowed eyes,

"Yup... it's weird, how are you alive? shouldn't a Core Shattering realm only have a lifespan of 1,000... even if your body was at the silver rank, thats only 10,000 years. yet you have been around for more than 100,000 years. is this with the inheritance" Sora asked calmly, to which the Azure dragon Emepror smiled slightly,

"you would have to defeat me first." He said to which Sora nodded slightly, Sora gathered his Qi, he planned to only use the power of Qi to end this, no merging was needed. Sora reached out, A huge Qi palm reached out, shooting toward the Azure Dragon Emperor at High speed,

The Azure Dragon Emperor's pupils shrink at the speed of this attack, but he moved and turned into a huge Azure dragon which dodged the attack, the Azure dragon flashed, at a blind speed, Sora moved his hands as a huge dragon claw flashed, leaving his flesh filled with cuts.

the azure dragon didn't stop and kicked the air with such force, the air was solid and shot back towards Sora with another attack, which caused Sora's blood to shoot into the sky, and once again kicked the air, this time moving to aim for the back of Sora, so his movement wouldn't be so easily protected by Sora,

With this level of speed he was moving too fast, not heaven a fly would have had the time to twitch its wing. Fang mei and the other's eyes, Sora was surrounded with Azure rays, which caged him in from all sides,

"Your speed isn't bad... let me show you my speed," Sora said before infusing killing intent into his legs and he disappeared, leaving the Asura dragon Emepror looking around trying to find where Sora was. Since he stopped moving, he was no longer a dragon and was now a human.

"So, you only take the form of a dragon when you move or what?" Sora's palm fell on the Azure Dragon's shoulder, almost scaring his soul away. the Asura dragon flew, turning into a dragon, and looked towards the spot Sora was at,

"did you drop something?" Sora's voice came from his side, while he looked around, trying to find what the Azure Dragon lost. the Azure Dragon emepror flashed once more and looked at him trying to find Sora, but again, Sora kept appearing next to him, he was not even able to get a good look at Sora

this went on until the Asure Dragon Emperor gave up, unable to take it anymore. he gave up, to which Sora appeared before him, without a stretch on him, shocking him

"I let you attack because I was crouse if the dragon was real or not, but it seems like it was an avatar created from your speed," Sora said calmly, he also wanted to have the Vermilion Bird cultivation art level up, which he did after suffering so many injuries from this guy.

"So now what? you're going to kill me and take the inheritance for yourself?" He asked calmly, to which Sora shook his head

"do I look like some ruthless killing god, if I wanted you to die, you would have died," Sora said calmly, which made the Asure Dragon Emepror look deeply at Sora, and those on the flying Nimbus far away.

"Then you have the rights, and them." The Azure dragon emperor said with a sigh, Sora nodded before signaling to the Flying Nimbus to come over. after which, they all went to the huge Asura Gate, which they all opened.

'The White Tiger was all about combat strength, the Phoenix was willpower, what would this one be?' Sora thought while entering the Gate, which was easily opened. Sora entered and found himself, and the others all standing among each other. which was a first as the other trials had them be apart.

they were in what seemed to be a forest, and the most notable thing here was the huge mountain on top.

Sora looked at his palm, everything about him was suppressed, leaving him with only a power level of 50. looking around, it seemed like the others were facing the same trouble,

"those who have entered..." a huge Azure dragon appeared before them, looking down upon all of them, like they were ants.

"If you wish to gain my inheritance, then you must pass my trail. up on that mountain is a golden apple tree. the first 6 people to bring one to me shall pass the test, and the others shall fail, meaning death." the dragon said, shocking all of them,

"wait, isn't death a bit too extreme? they just kids," Yu Rou said while looking at her little brother and sister,

"all who have entered have taken part in the test. you have until sundown, if none of you have an apple, you all die. you can't pass the trial by giving me 1 apple as a group, one apple per person." the dragon said coldly, before disappearing leaving them all frozen in shock

"... well, this is a pain in the ass. well, let's think for loops hole along the way." Sora said lazily before taking the firsts forward while sighing deep down as he could always guess wants to go through Hong Ying and Yu Rou's heads.

Yu Rou was willing to kill anyone here for the sake of her siblings, and Hong Ying was not the type who would like carrying around dead weight. so she might want the kids to die, Giga Chad would fight all of them if needed for his sister, while Fang Mei... well, she was a mystery.

As for Sora, he wasn't thinking about that, simply loopholes to pass this trial. so although uneasy, the group followed Sora and headed toward the mountain, of course, the mountain was filled with danger, but with Giga Chad and Sora, the danger was easily killed,

but as they neared the peak, they began having to work together to face more danger. it reached a point where Giga Chad had to take care of the back, while Sora handled the ground, but even so, the danger in the forest was too much, and Sora and Giga Chad were pushed away from the group,

taking the chance, a huge cat jumped toward Yu Jian. horrified, Yu Jian fell to the ground while covering his face. but, from the side, Yu Rou shot forward, slamming into the huge cat. they were sent rolling far away, but the ca quickly take control, pinned Yu Rou down, and bit her neck, killing her.

Seeing Sora and Giga Chad was back on the ground, it disappeared into the trees, leaving Sora looking towards where it ran off with rage. he couldn't follow as he knew more animals were watching, reaching out, he grabbed Yu Jian and Yu She who were paralyzed after seeing what happened to their big sister.

"let's go," Sora said coldly, everyone was shaken by Yu Jian's death, but they followed after Sora. they faced more and more danger along the way, although some were injured, no one else died.

soon they arrived at the peak of the mountain, where they found 6 golden apples, everyone picked one, before resting. the walk up here was tiring for everyone, so they needed the moment to rest.

"whose stay?" Fang Mei asked the question on everyone's mind, but no one had found a loophole. this is where the dark sides of people showed, no one wanted to die, so people could help but look towards the weakest part of the ground, the children. only one of them needed to go,

"... let's go," Sora said softly while standing up, but just as everyone stood, Fang Mei suddenly cried in pain while slapping her leg. everyone looked over and saw she had slapped a snake which had bitten her leg, Sora flashed killing the snake before looking at her leg,

"It's poisonous, not enough to kill you, but it would leave your leg paralyzed for a few days." Giga Chad said with one simple look. Fang Mei's face turned pale as she was losing all feeling within the bitten legs, she looked at everyone and saw the looks in their eyes changing, she was now going to weigh the whole group down, and the safest thing to do now was to leave her here.

Sora tried to take out the senzu bean, but he realized that the system was also suppressed, making his face darken for a moment, but in the end, he took a deep breath while looking at Fang Mei who had slight tears in her eyes.

"you should go, traveling at night is going to be far more dangerous." She said softly, Sora ignored her and simply knocked her out, and threw her onto his shoulders.

"Giga Chad, you take the back. Hong Ying controls the emotions of the animals, and Nu Chad protects the two kids." Sora said coldly while storing the golden apple in a storage ring before he pointed at the sky, before everyone's eyes, a huge death Ball was created, swallowing the sky,

"We are going to cut through the shock wave while the other animals are sent flying. those that shoot forward, we kill. we simply got to turn these things in to pass," Sora said coldly to which everyone got ready, Sora swung down with his finger, and the huge ball shot down, slamming into the ground and creating a huge mushroom cloud which created a huge shock wave.

Sora and the others shot forward, and with Sora taking the lead, he used the destructor disc to cut through the shock wave, making it easier for the others. after which, they landed within the dust clouds, blinding them, but their spiritual senses remained sharp,

it didn't take long for those animals which survived to appear within their senses, and sensing them, they rushed at them with rage. but Sora's group shot forward, only focusing on the animals in the back and those which neared them. Of course, some caught up to them, forcing Sora and Giga Chad to fight, but it didn't slow them down by much

in a few hours, they arrived at where it all began, causing the dragon to appear to accept the gift. everyone hesitated, but Giga Chad made the first move, pushing his little sister to give his fruit, after which Giga Chad looked at the children, who stepped up, giving up their fruit. Next was Hong Ying, and after seeing Sora node at him, Giga Chad give his fruit,

"... where is your fruit." the dragon asked while looking at Sora who was looking at Fang Mei, Sora took out his fruit and threw Fang Mei's body to the ground, before placing the fruit over her body.

"thats her fruit, it seems like I don't have one... I want to see just how an overgrown lizard-like yourself wants to kill me." Sora said his eyes burning with rage, his body flashed, as sparks began appearing all over his body, with his eyes taking on a hint of blue, unlike their normal appearance when it was black.
