That's Pretty Sad

'Interesting' was a generous way of putting it. Mila didn't understand. Drew had completely thrown his pride out the window to even pretend to be Leo once he was back in control instead of just going home but this…this was somehow even more. 

He was straight up admitting that he missed the bizarre way things were for them. That he missed HER.

"Boring how?" she couldn't help but ask. 

"All I ever did was work. I used to think that my parents might give me the time of day if I was successful but that didn't work out. Even so, work was all I knew how to do until I met you," Drew said far too casually. 

He was being pretty blasé about this. Though she supposed that it was because he already knew all of her secrets. He had said they had that in common before but she had ignored it since she was suffering from information overload. It was harder to ignore now.
