Another Howl, another disappointment. Dane Redmond was trying very hard not to let it get to him but he had attended every Howl he could since coming of age to no avail. He still hadn't found his mate.
Packs were like families, though most weren't blood related. Werewolves rarely found their mates within the pack they grew up in, though it did happen once in a blue moon.
That was why Howls were held. They were meetups of werewolves within a witch coven's coverage area that happened every six months. He had gone all over the country attending different ones at this point and was beginning to think there wasn't a single she-wolf on this continent who would want him.
