A Soft Spot

Sadie looked over the contract carefully and didn't see any loopholes so she signed it and off they went. She made it through filling out her second marriage license in a matter of weeks and the ceremony in a daze. 

Fletcher handed her a ring that looked different from the one Edward gave her and put one on his own finger before bringing her to a rather large house on a good bit of property with a gate that required a code to get in. When she arrived, she found that there were suitcases filled with her clothes, electronics, and important documents waiting for her in one of the rooms.

He must have sent one of his henchmen to get them. But when? 

"I do hope you'll be comfortable here," he said pleasantly. "Get changed and I'll introduce you to everyone."

Sadie had no objections. She would need to meet them all at some point anyway. She put on one of her more comfortable dresses, letting down her wedding hairdo so it was a mass of curls.
