50 Friends Can't Do It Either

"But, he..." Guo Miaoxuan's heart ached for Li Weiyin. Would she be caring for a child for the rest of her life?

"But, what?" Li Weiyin looked at Guo Miaoxuan indifferently. "I know what you want to say."

Li Weiyin intertwined her fingers, placed her hands behind her head and leaned back lazily, "He is the eldest son of the Xu Family; I will never have to worry about putting food on the table, nor will I have to stress about life. He may not be very mature, but he is more obedient than any mature person. Compared to those that you consider normal, he will never argue with me, scheme against me, nor betray me."

"I don't actually expect much. I just want someone that treats me wholeheartedly."

During her first encounter with Xu Yimo at the Xu Mansion, Li Weiyin saw stars in his eyes.

They were dazzling, bright, sincere, and pure—like his entire world was made up of only her.

"So...you're having a platonic relationship?" Guo Miaoxuan was still young, so she was embarrassed to say explicit words like this.

"In regards to that... We will see what comes naturally..." Li Weiyin was embarrassed as she looked at the shocked Guo Miaoxuan. "He has problems with his intellect, but his body isn't deformed."

After saying this, Li Weiyin's face suddenly heated up.

"I know, but I simply think he can..." Guo Miaoxuan couldn't continue as she looked at Li Weiyin with a, 'you understand', look.

"You sound like you have experience," Li Weiyin glared at her friend speechlessly as she changed the subject. "That's enough. Yimo and I are already married, so what I need is your blessing."

Guo Miaoxuan grabbed her hair with frustration and looked into Li Weiyin's hopeful eyes. All of a sudden, her eyes stung and she pounced forward to hug her, "Yinyin, you need to be happy."

"I know..."

Before Li Weiyin finished speaking, a strong force suddenly pulled her away. Guo Miaoxuan almost fell forward onto the bench, but fortunately, Li Weiyin supported her.

Just as she regained her footing, she saw Xu Yimo glaring at Guo Miaoxuan, "Yinyin is my wife. You can't hug her!"

Guo Miaoxuan: "!!!"

Li Weiyin held her head and tried to explain, "Miaomiao and I are friends."

"Friends can't do it either," Xu Yimo complained angrily like he had caught his wife cheating.

"That's too much. Let me tell you..."

"That's enough." Seeing that Guo Miaoxuan was about to lose her temper, Li Weiyin quickly stopped her. "We need to go back. I'll visit you another time."

Guo Miaoxuan watched speechlessly as Li Weiyin pulled Xu Yimo away.

"Woof, woof, woof," Angel ran over and circled Guo Miaoxuan.

Guo Miaoxuan felt moved, "Lucky I have you..."

But, before she finished speaking and before she touched Angel on the head, Angel acted like it had finished its farewell and chased after the couple.

Guo Miaoxuan was left standing pitifully under the sun.

By the time that Li Weiyin returned with Xu Yimo and Angel, Mrs. Xu had also returned. It seemed, she had returned early because of her, so Li Weiyin felt moved.

"I heard you were cooking so I came back early to treat my senses," as she spoke, Mrs. Xu's eyes fell on Angel. "This dog is so beautiful. I've already asked someone to prepare a kennel for it. It is in the garden, you can have a look."

After a short pause, Mrs. Xu added, "But, if you want to keep it in your room, you can do that too."

She was letting Li Weiyin know that she had no restrictions for where the dog was kept.
