Origin Story

Every superhero has a unique origin story. Like being the last son of a planet or facing a gamma bomb head on. My origin story is simple. 

Death the ending of a life on earth. If you are fortunate, you will have a good one. The life of a newborn should be a day of celebration of amazing things. They shall accomplish in the future. When one's life ends. It should also be a day of celebration. To rejoice, that person will not have to feel pain no more and remember the good days they lived on the earth. Today I am not celebrating, I am not happy. On this day I bury my father. 

(On the day of the burial.) 

Brothers and sisters, today we bury Brother Freeman. Brother Freeman was not only a member of this church, he was also an outstanding member of this community. Even though we are not blood related like many, we consider him family. We grew up together, serving the war together, and I could say if it were not for him, I probably would not be your pastor. Now Brother Freeman left behind two children.
