Learning new things

Creston looked at everyone with questions in his eyes. "So is it true? Am I a demon?"

While Creston was walking home with Levi, he was telling him what happened during the holidays, about him and Tracy. He also told him about the fight he had with those guys in the alley and how he beat them up. He was sick of going crazy anytime he's provoked . Whenever he gets angry, it's like a force overshadows Creston, making him strong enough to do shit, getting him into trouble. Everytime Creston's done beating up the provoker, he would sit down and wonder how he beat them up.

Now he knows why; he's a demon.

Creston asked again seeing that no one answered him. "well, IS IT? Am I a demon?"

"Umm... well..."

"I am, aren't I?

They all slowly nodded.

Creston didn't have to ask if they were demons too,he wasn't stupid,he already knows he's adopted and he had been standing outside long enough to hear everything they said.

"So I'm just a lucky b*stard..."

"Don't say that, Creston, everything happens for a reason."

"I'm a demon, so what are you going to do with me? Huh? Throw me in a dungeon or something?"

"Creston, we're not going to hurt you, even though you're a demon, you're still family. You, no, we just have to find out more about you."

With that, Creston marched into his room, he jumped on the bed and went deep in thought. Someone once said, "Ignorance is bliss". Right now that saying pointed directly to Creston. If he didn't know any of this, he would've been glad. Now he knows he's a demon his mom is dead and he doesn't know crap about his dad. He felt devastated. A tear fell from his eye.

Suddenly, he sprang up and smiled, an idea hit him, "wait.. if I'm a demon, does that mean I have cool awesome abilities?" He answered his own question, "surely".

Creston remembered all the time he got angry, he recalled that he always gets unmatched strength when he's angry, he enters a state- a deadly state. So with that in mind, Creston came to a hypothesis, his powers or "cool abilities" can only be triggered by anger, so, if he wanted to test his strength, he had to get angry. He thought about his dad, he wondered where he was, if he was dead too, if Creston would ever see him. Creston thought about how poorly Mc'Elle treats him, almost like she knew he was a demon all this time.

With all that in mind, Creston faced his wooden wardrobe, which doors were made of hard wood, probably mahogany, he took a deep breath, made a fist and... "Ouch!"

Creston shook his hand vigorously while blowing it with his mouth, he punched the door expecting it to at least crack, he was expecting something real cool but Shit!, he hurt his hand.

"This is so damn harder than what I expected.

Maybe I didn't chanel my energy right..."

Creston was lost in thoughts when suddenly, Mc'elle barged in and yelled, "What's going on, I heard a bang coming from your room, so, what caused it?!"

Creston was displeased with the way she barged in and the tone she used to talk just now. He replied, "I was just testing something. Get out of my room."

"Hold on, don't tell me... you were practicing your demon skills here, huh?"

Creston didn't answer, instead he made a confused face and Mc'elle continued talking,

"You're exhibiting your demonic features in this house, right?! If you want to show your damn devil skills then you're free to leave this house." She didn't stop there, she sneered and said, "Humph, demon boy." Then she left the room with a "bang" on the door.

Creston was a free demon, he couldn't stand being yelled at so he stomped on to Mc'elle's room to give her a piece of his mind.

"Hey Mc'elle! I don't appreciate it when you..."

Mc'elle cut him off, "Hey, hey hey. Unlike you, I have parents that still care about me and, I have a life to live, so please, don't lose your temper and kill me right now. Please don't do your demon stuff to me, instead, take it with you to hell." Mc'elle said all those things in a very rude, mocking and sarcastic tone just to make Creston feel unsafe and sad and she was doing a great job at it.

"Mum and dad doesn't see me that way, they still see me as their son."

By now, Mc'elle put her hand behind her ear, like she was having difficulty in hearing.

"Wait, did you just call them "mum and dad"?

because if I remember correctly, they're not demons, so they're not your parents; they're mine. If I were you, I'd go find my real parents instead of claiming others."

"You know Creston, I feel very sorry for you. You're just an unlucky demon b*stard !"

Mc'elle was being so irrationally irritating right now and also very annoying.

Creston was so sad, he wished he could just punch his sister right now. He could feel negative energy welling up inside and he just wanted to let it out on someone or something right now. Creston knew he couldn't hurt Mc'elle even though she just practically disowned him because he would be proving her evil words about him being from hell true.

With tears in his eyes, he ran to the bakery downstairs, into the basement where all the scrap was kept, his eyes blood red, raging with fury and sorrow, he channeled everything to just a fist and...

BANG

An old pie pan just got a hole in it.

Creston felt calm. At least most of his negative energy had been released on that old , defenseless pie pan.

Unlike other ability users that have to chanel their natural energy to let out their powers, Creston needs negative emotions. Negative emotions are his energy. He was a demon, don't expect him to be good. His powers is triggered by sadness and pain and anger and sorrow.

Mc'elle ran to see what was going on with Creston, and after seeing what he did to the pan, she started yapping again, "Didn't I tell you to practice your hellish skills in HELL?!

Now look what you've done."

"Does it matter? wasn't that pan trash anyways?"

Just then, Gobert and Laura walked in. Mc'elle immediately snitched on Creston, but she flipped the story upside-down and said, "Mum, dad look, he felt he was on top of the world and he could do anything, so he punched the pan and made a hole in it because he's a demon." Said Mc'elle while pointing Creston and looking at him sharply.

Truth be told, Mc'elle was taking it too far, she never liked Creston. She always saw him as an outsider and now it's confirmed! He was an outsider! She felt she had all right to say whatever she wanted to.
