After Le Finn left, Le Xaan went back to his bedroom, where Qiki fed him a bowl of tonic porridge spoonful by spoonful.
Since he was injured, his progress in martial arts was suspended.
To squander his vitality in the modification while paying no heed to his health status was too risky, after all. That might bring him too close to mortality.
But, now that the ghostly Qi was dispelled, he began to ponder how he should proceed with his martial arts cultivation.
While enjoying the tasty porridge, Le Xaan narrowed his eyes and sat on his recliner leisurely.
"Young Master, Young Lady Cinci hasn't returned for a few days now. Could it be that...?" Qiki looked careworn as she asked in a low voice.
"Don't be anxious. That's something we couldn't help. Let the professionals to handle it. We'd only drag them down if we were to do something rash."
"Just your servant sees Second Mother spend her days in tears and genuinely feels sorry for her."
Qiki then asked in a low voice,
"Young Master, do you think they can solve these issues?"
"Yes. But I was unsure whether they can totally solve all of them." Le Xaan replied while considering the authenticity of Youny Geey's words.
As he turned over what Youny Geey said in mind, Le Xaan found the monk having no motives to lie to him. If Youny Geey was in the mindset of fooling him out of his money, the bottle of tonic water was all that he needed to reap a handsome sum from Le Xaan.
For the time being, Le Xaan could trust the three of them in handling these matters.
The Ghost Spirit in the Le Mansion was eradicated, ensuring the family's safety for the near future.
However, according to Youny Geey, there were still a large number of Ghost Spirits in the city.
This piece of information made Le Xaan a little fidgety and restless.
He had to spare no strength in doing away with just a single Ghost Spirit, so what would have happened if he had encountered a bunch of them?
"Qiki, get out of here first. I want to take a rest alone for some time." Le Xaan suddenly said.
Qiki nodded in acknowledgment. She helped Le Xaan onto the bed and tucked the quilt for him before getting out of the room.
With a creak, the door was closed shut.
Le Xaan slowly sat up and got out of bed. Then, he removed a paper wrapper from the drawer of a bookshelf.
He unfolded it, revealing the white particles within.
This was the remnants of the Ghost Spirits after it died.
Le Xaan was not sure whether it was useful. But he figured that it had a high likelihood of being something valuable since it was what a supernatural entity left behind. Thereby, he didn't throw it away and kept it carefully.
He laid the paper wrapper on the table.
"From the looks of it, if I want to get my head around its use, perhaps I have to consult Youny Geey."
He pondered and then aired his thoughts.
Putting away the wrapper, he went to the bed. Not long after, he fell asleep.
When he awoke, it was already nighttime.
He saw Qiki lighting a lamp before a table. Le Xaan was faced with her cute small butt under a white skirt before his eyes. It quivered as Qiki fumbled with the lamp.
As Qiki leaned over further, her knee-length lotus-leaf skirt could barely conceal her full and round buttock to Le Xaan.
"Cough..." Le Xaan coughed lightly. After the sound slumber, he now felt refreshed and invigorated.
Upon hearing this, Qiki immediately turned around.
"Young Master, you finally wake up! The kitchen made white fungus soup. Would you like to have a bowl of it?"
"What time is it now?"
"Around ten o'clock." Qiki answered.
"It's already so late? Have those three who went out investigating sent back any message? "
"You mean Youny Geey's group?" Qiki asked.
"Yes."
"Veur Hamvy has been waiting outside the door for a long time. He must have a message to deliver to you." Qiki replied.
"Then call him in."
Le Xaan rubbed his temple. Then he got out of the bed and began to dress himself.
After Le Xaan got dressed neatly, Veur Hamvy, his bodyguard, walked in.
"Young Master Xaan." Veur Hamvy bowed to him respectfully.
"Any messages from Reverend Youny Geey?"
"Yes. Reverend Youny Geey first headed to the Zein family and solved a missing case there. Currently, he is on his way to the Xavir family's residence. " At the mention of Youny Geey, Veur Hamvy's face betrayed the admiration to Youny Geey.
Youny Geey was actually able to resolve such weird occurrences at lightning speed.
Veur Hamvy had seen a Ghost Spirit with his own eyes and known of its ability to possess an individual and fly with great swiftness. It also boasted a poison-like Qi, resulting in Young Master Xaan's illness.
Yet, Reverend Youny Geey managed to eliminate such monsters with great ease. He was truly a professional in this type of issue.
Le Xaan felt hardly surprised while hearing this.
"What about Miss Quane Feiy?"
"She has gathered a clue. I assign some guards under her command. And they have already went out of the city. Perhaps soon they will send back a message."
Veur Hamvy gave his reply.
"As expected, they are really the professionals. In less than a day, they made significant progress." Le Xaan said with a sigh.
" Now, let's go and have a dinner. If only my sister is safe and sound."
Veur Hamvy and Qiki dared not to give a reply. As lowly guards and servants, they didn't have the guts to make any comments regarding Young Lady Cinci.
Trailed by the two of them, Le Xaan went out of the bedroom. In the hall, some dishes and a jug of wine were already arranged nicely on a table.
A few servant girls were now deftly wiping the dining utensils.
Le Xaan sat down and was about to enjoy the food.
"There's news! Young Master Xaan! There's news!"
