For what seemed like an eternity to Diana, Azrael stood frozen to the spot where his Demon body had once stood. As she dug her hands firmly into her palms, drawing some blood, Diana couldn't even figure out how she could apologize for the disaster she had brought to her new Master.

Although Azrael had his human vessel to fall back on for now, his soul and close to 80% of his total power were still sealed in his original body. In the hands of her brother, and worse still, in the hands of the Goddess of death, Hel, Diana was horrified at the thought that she had potentially doomed Azrael to a miserable fate.
