Settling Scores (two)

''Has he gone crazy?'' Atticus gasped as he watched Alex destroy the entire building. ''But such power... Hey, what happened to him?'' He turned and asked Mikasa.

'I can't tell about the bloodline, it could be dangerous' She thought to herself while imagining what to tell him to make him believe without doubting her. ''Well, I don't know precisely but it was right after his school was destroyed,'' she replied to him after thinking for a while.

''Hmmm, it's strange,'' he mumbled.

''What is?'' She asked him, pretending to not know what he was talking about.

''The transformation, I mean,'' he replied.

''So what about it?'' She asked him.

''The transformation was sudden and he's become a lot stronger than before. Perhaps something more happened to him,'' he replied with his gaze fully locked on Alex.

''Maybe,'' Mikasa replied. Inwardly, she could not help but be relieved that he didn't doubt her or else, it could have been bad.
