Deep Darkness

Tommy stood by the balcony, his eyes flashing with a mysterious glint.

He did come as promised...

Tommy stared at the five feet tall young man with Silver hair, pushing his way through into the White House— in their discussion from earlier, it was already agreed that Tommy would sneak out... But now, it seem like that would no longer be the case.

Instead, he was barging into the White House, forcefully overwhelming the security guards with his might as an Ascended.

"Let me through..."

He stated, his voice rippling and echoing through the air, sending tantalizing vibratos into the brain of his listeners.

The guards almost succumbed, due to their mundanity, but then resisted the magic that was almost like a powerful drug.

They almost grabbed at the pretty young man with silver hair, but then...

From the balcony, an authoritative voice commanded.

"Let him be... he's here for me!"

Although the guards tried to put up a fight even after receiving orders from Tommy... Tommy decided and he Instantly cast oblivion at the guards making them to momentarily feel lost.

If he had not done so, the guards would have remained adamant. They might even tell Tommy that he has no right whatsoever to let strangers in on his own accord.... Also, they were under strict order from the President Tristan and would never violate it.

The pretty young man looked above the balcony.

Two men stood watching the scene below. Tommy and Jayson.

And he offered the best smile he could ever give.

"Tommy, lucky you... At least, I did not allow you to sneak out of your home." He chuckled.

Tommy, who wasn't aware that Jayson was behind him chuckled too.

"Should we head out now?"

"Depends on you... and– the man behind you."

Tommy frowned and immediately looked behind him and then, his frown deepened.

"Jayson? Are you following me?"

Tommy gasped.

"Have you been sneaking up on me?"

Jayson revealed a sneer.

"So what? Why can't I follow or sneak up on you? Or is it that, you're dating him and you don't want me to find out?" Jayson said, anger, clearly evident in his tone.

"Jayson, he's an Ascended! He's merely tutoring me on my abilities as an Awakened. I don't see any reason for you to get all red about it!"

Jayson's eye brows perked up.

"I'm red? Seriously, you think I'm getting red?"

Jayson's eyes suddenly turned chilling.

"I hope you don't dare f*ck with me or I'll make sure you both receive it hot from me!"

Tommy acted casual.

"I'll see you tomorrow morning. I've got training tonight."

Suddenly, the atmosphere turned dull as a heavy pressure descended upon Tommy–

"You're staying with him for the night?"

Jayson was almost shouting, his every word filled with utmost dread.

Tommy angrily used wind blade and countless sharp wind, manifesting as sharp tools flitted towards Jayson who flicked a finger and a crushing force shattered Tommy's wind blade.

"You've forgotten that I'm always a step ahead of you, huh?"

Jayson's tone turned extremely dark...

But all of a sudden, the pretty man with silver hair appeared before them... and then, faced Jayson.

"He's my student, you cannot be so jealous for absolutely no reason!"

Jayson's eyes burned with visible bloodlust.

"F"ck you!"

And a massive projectile was sent in a crazed speed and a deafening whistle towards the pretty young man with the silver hair.

The man exhales softly and then... Space shifted, isolating one part of the balcony from Jayson.

Space shifting can make a region of the world to become almost non-existent... so, when Jayson's projectile arrived, it simply phased through the silver haired man and Tommy, slamming upon the massive pillar and causing tandem destructions.

Jack and Brenda stepped forward at the first sound of devastation...

The guards whom had been free from oblivion, heard the rukus and they ascended the stairs to see what exactly is happening.

However, the silver haired man grabbed Tommy by the shoulder–

He locked gaze with Jayson who's anger was taking another level.

And suddenly, they both became illusory and faded away.

The shift in space Instantly dropped, reverting back to it's original and that was when Jack and Brenda appeared, along with numerous guards...

"Where's Tommy?" Jack asked.

...

When Tommy regained his visuals, he saw himself in a strange landscape.

Rippling darkness came to his view. Horrifying and eerie.

A strong sense of deja Vu overwhelmed Tommy's senses, as if he had experienced something of this nature before– only that, he could not recall no matter how much he tried.

Before his vision could finally stabilize, Tommy heard a sweet male voice, low and tantalizing.

"Time is an almost incomprehensible factor... Any one who manages to grasp time is considered a god in this era— but, doing so should also be very difficult."

The pretty man with silver hair paused and Tommy locked him with a piercing gaze.

"If not for the guide that I had given you several months ago, your pulse power should not have even grasped the rewind of time."

"If one did not struggle for a specific pulse power, that's when it develops by itself, choosing whatever for whomever— however, the moment one's pulse power is deciphered, it should not be easy for one's pulse gifting to deviate."

Tommy saw the silver haired man swirl his hair and said. "Let's start by getting you to fully maximize your power as a Stream-entry." He snapped his fingers and the next moment, the rippling darkness before Tommy suddenly thickened, emitting a strange hollow.

It was blinding, invading and devouring.

The true darkness– deep darkness, which had transcended both the heaven and earth.

The silver haired man said.

"You're reflection must be pure... your reflexes should rival a Non-return. You soul must take the first form, Unconsciousness.

Lock the entrance to your body... the darkness is invading– if it invades the body... Lock your soul... It is devouring. If it enters your soul– kill your emotions... It is controlling. After that, push forward— the Once-return realm awaits your entry."

Tommy's face Instantly blanched after hearing that statement...

He clearly did not understand.
