Chapter 1: A Nightmare:

Dark,quiet,lonely,eerie. The hunt of yesterday was dwelled in my mind. That day, when the rocket crashed, everything changed. Its been 3 weeks since the incident. Days became nights, nights became nightmares. Living in a world with monsters attracted to light. I heard that last week Mr.Krot lit fire to cook, and there he goes,dragged by a displeased face.

"Shawn!",called a similar voice. It was Jamie, an annoying little sister of mine.

She conveyed to me that we were informed to move to the 2nd division base. Everyone started packing their backs, I took some leftover pizza and a rusty rod left out in our backyard. Everyone seemed anxious about the journey. It was late night, the best time to spot legs trembling, the breeze had a chill tone to it, kids shivering in cold, the walk began.

I took a glance at the streets, they looked different from what I have seen, cars with windshields broken, lamp posts dead on ground, blood running in the drainage, I looked like I was watching a horror movie. Mr.Floyd was worried about his wife who was staying in Boston, the place where it all began. Jamie was dying of hunger, so I gave her the leftover pizza I had packed.

Footsteps SCRAPING the mug behind me.

"RUN!", a frantic man shouting, I was petrified. I slowly tilted my feet clockwise, a gasp came out of my mouth.
