Chapter 130

Max's Pov

"Pandora!" 

He could sense her sudden drifting into a state of abyss. Her gaze frightfully fixed at the window. She looked as though she has seen a ghoul. 

"Manuel" 

She muttered with trembling lips. Max couldn't understand the reason for her sudden silence and the look in her eyes were dreary.

He walked to her, but she stood like a frozen chicken, consumed by fear. He veers to look at whatever seems to have taken her whole concentration, but he didn't see anything.

He snapped his fingers across her eyes but she was like a rock on two feet. He kept snapping his fingers and yelling her name until he finally snapped her out of her thoughts back to reality only to hear the words her lips were trying so hard to mutter-

"Manuel" 

As though he could see through the darkness, Max instantly veers and his gaze searching for anything, but still he didn't see a thing.
