4 Gene Transformation Technique

Everyone turned their attention to Coach Alisa because most of the people here had no idea what Gene Transformation was.

Coach Alisa continued "The basic martial arts we will teach you is called Taekowndo and is the civilian martial arts that everyone can learn. Gene Transformation, on the other hand, is a brand new technology and this school among many others has been chosen to lead the future of Geneology. Now let me explain if you didn't have the Gene Level previously to become a pilot you still cannot become a pilot. But Gene Transformation gives you a chance of increasing your gene level. Now everyone knows the Gene ranks are S, A, B, C, D, E, and F. So if you are an A rank you have a high chance of increasing to Rank S. But if you are a Rank F you have a very low chance of increasing it to D. The rank necessary to be a pilot is B but even if you luckily upgrade your gene from C to B, since your gene level isn't truly at the B Rank you don't have the ability to become a Pilot. Now everyone lines up at this machine, insert the tablet you should have received today and when your gene level has tested a technique for upgrading your gene will be inserted into the tablet. I will say it now, do not share this technique with anyone or else we will have to turn you into the police and the punishment is very severe."

Everyone shouted "YES Coach Alisa."

Everyone ran towards the machines, no common citizens have ever heard of this new technology but if anyone in the world had a chance to upgrade their gene they would say yes in a heartbeat. Gene Level was everything in this world, for example, if you had an F Rank gene no one would even allow you into their office for an interview even if you try to become a Cashier at a restaurant.

Tian Jie was a little more skeptical than everyone here but he still decided to get into the line and see what this technique was. Ariel was the girl in front of Tian Jie and when she turned around she had a smirk on her face. Tian Jie looked into Han Sen's memories but couldn't find any reason for this girl to be so aggressive towards him. Tian Jie just shrugged his shoulders and waited.

Linley went first and everyone started cheering when they saw he was had A Rank Gene's, and with the Gene Transformation Technique, he had a chance of upgrading to an S Rank gene.

Most others had C Rank or an occasional B rank, but when it was Ariel's turn she walked into the machine and it showed an S Rank. Everyone burst into whispers trying to figure out the identity of this unknown girl.

Coach Alisa got the classes attention and said "I forgot to talk to you about something, above the S Rank is the SS Rank. People with SS Ranks are beyond the normal human limitations and during the experiments ran for Gene Transformation some have shown signs of literal Superpowers like super speed or super strength. So congratulations Ariel for having the opportunity to grow to an SS Rank."

Tian Jie snorted when he saw everyone start clapping and the smug face Ariel showed on her face.

Tian Jie walked up to the machine and inserted the tablet, he put his arm inside the machine and his gene level showed D Rank.

Even though everyone looked at Tian Jie with pity he didn't care. Right now he could kill everyone in this room and no one could stop him. Even guns would have a reduced effect on him.

Tian Jie grabbed his tablet and flipped to the Gene Transformation Technique and what he saw stunned him. The technique was similar to a Corrupted Technique used by Evil Sects to increase the Sect Servant's strength by trading for their vitality. Tian Jie realized that the technique took the lifespan of these people and allows them to upgrade their bodies.

Coach Alisa saw Tian Jie's face start to distort when he saw the technique and she also frowned. She couldn't believe someone would actually frown at the chance to upgrade their rank, especially this low life D Rank.

Everyone finished and so the combat training section started, Coach Alisa spoke "To understand Taekwondo we need to start by showing a demonstration of the martial arts. I know Ariel is a black belt in Taekwondo so can you please come to the mat, and you need a sparring partner so let me see... Han Sen please help Ariel demonstrate."

Tian Jie was confused why he was called but he shrugged his shoulders and walked to the mat.

Ariel looked at Tian Jie like she wanted to rip his head off but Tian Jie kept his uncaring expression. Everyone else in the class was confused, if she needed a training partner wouldn't Linley be the best option... isn't using Han Sen as a training partner the same as putting a punching bag in the ring and telling it to fight against a lion?

Coach Alisa ignored all the confused faces and said "We will start with a sparring match so you can get a feel of how taekwondo is supposed to be used. On 3 the match will start, 1...2...3!"

Ariel immediately ran towards Tian Jie, for everyone else they saw a blur but to Tian Jie who is a Qi Condensation Stage 3 cultivator this speed was less than a snails speed.

Tian Jie slowly sidestepped when Ariel's kick reached Tian Jie's face. Everyone was shocked when they saw Tian Jie dodge that powerful kick and even Coach Alisa said that the dodge was pure luck but when Tian Jie continuously dodge Ariel's kicks and punches they realized Tian Jie was skilled in combat.

Ariel after a minute got tired because she didn't pace herself and so Tian Jie simply walked towards her and punched her in the gut causing her to spasm on the floor.

Coach Alisa's face became distorted when she saw a perfect S Rank student get beaten by a D Rank student to the point that she was twitching on the floor. A student who hasn't had any awards in combat has somehow beaten a girl who has won so many awards that she needs 4 trophy cases.

Class got canceled and Coach Alisa had to call an ambulance because she was scared that something might have happened to Ariel. The rest of the school day went as normal, Tian Jie went to math, history, language arts, and science, then school ended.

On the way back home Linley was giving his 3rd person perspective on the fight and kept shouting about how amazing Tian Jie looked. The bus got to their stop so they said goodbye and Tian Jie left back to the Verdant Mech Shop.
